Also did not follow feeding directions to add water to dry food as greyhounds don't chew like other breeds. God thing I did daily checks. Placed a blanket on the cement floor which was very slick. Also failed to provide an elevated bowl. Reason I mention, is because I CALLED AHEAD and stated I would bring one if they didn't have one. I was assured one would be provided~ NOT! Given some excuse that another dog had chewed it up and was not available. If you knew this, then why did you insist when I called to not bother to bring mine? Definitely will not be coming back here.

Having just opened in May 2009, it's a smacking brand new space, so it's very clean, with polished hardwood flooring throughout, and the staff are very friendly (except when you are running late to pick up your pet, EVEN THOUGH you have informed them several times you may be 15-20 minutes late)... The daycare hours are 8am-6pm daily, and if an additional hour is required, it's at an additional cost. Makes sense! However, please note: they are not pleased if they have to stay later than 7:00pm. I do not mind shelling out for their additional services, but, although they WILL wait, they are very strict about locking up at 7:00pm...and their friendliness sizzles down a notch or two... My puppy was very comfortable with all the staff there, and seemed a happy camper when I went to pick her up! Also, I was touched that they hand crafted a hot pink name tag for her, took a photo of her, and framed it as a souvenir! Aaawww....sweetness!!! Nice added touch for going the extra mile! I love this place! If this was close to where I live, I would bring my dog here every weekend! It's very hard to take my dog elsewhere after such great service and cleanliness! My only advice: I wish they would be willing to extend their hours if needed! Like I said, I don't mind paying for the extra hours!

Lisa provides an outstanding service for small to medium sized dogs who are well mannered to come play, relax and make new friends in a country club atmosphere. The location is tucked away near the Ridgeview Golf Course but still central to 711, 271, the Diamond and Johnstown. Daycare starts at 9am and ends at 3pm giving the dogs plenty of time to play-rest-and play some more(lots of fetch included)! Lisa provides phenomenal pictures each day so you can log and even print out your puppy bonding with others. But most importantly pups come and leave happier than ever(and can't wait to return)!

As soon as we met Sean, we knew that we could relax and totally trust him to take amazing care of our beloved animal companions. Sean is so warm, calm, helpful, conscientious, and compassionate towards animals. He went above and beyond to help our dogs feel at ease. He even took the initiative to do some training with them regarding one's food guarding issues. When we returned from our trip, Sean shared these training techniques with us, which was very helpful. He gave us an honest report on our dogs' time at the pet hotel, seeing our dogs in a really kind and optimistic light. In addition, the facility is clean and offers indoor/outdoor kennels. We requested that our dogs share a kennel. All animal guests also receive loving attention from Sean and daily, private time outside in a large, fenced area. The location is very tranquil. We will definitely board our dogs here again and highly recommend Bakers Ridge Pet Hotel to others.

I went to their favilify last week to inquire about boarding my pets here this weekend. I took…read moretheir shot records with me. I was missing results from one test. I asked if I could book then, knowing that I was getting the test completed the next day. I was told by the staff on duty that I should wait to book pending the results of the test. I then asked if their would be any issue booking them next week after the i get the results of the test. I was told that there would be NO PROBLEM if the teat result was negative. I was given paperwork to complete for each pet as well. I then left, got the test for my dog which was the right result to allow booking, and completed the paperwork. Bring previously told that I would have no problem booking my 2 pets, I calEd on Wednesday to inform them that I was bringing the completed paperwork and needed test result. And asked about the booking. It was at this point that I was told that they couldn't accommodate me this weekend because of staffing issue. They were nice enough to copy the test results that I had already given and provided me with the name of another pet boarding facility that thankfully could accommodate my pets.

I called to schedule home service care for my two cats for a total of 3 days (July 10 to 12, 2021)…read more Christina and Jen came out to my home to meet the cats and so I could show them where the food, litter, and treats were located. At that time the assured me that they would come for the scheduled days and send me pictures or updates regarding my cats. When I left home on Friday I left out 2 bowls of water and 4 dishes of food. Every day that I was away I received pictures and/or updates about my cats via text message. When I arrived home Monday evening (July 12th), both bowls of water only had water covering the bottom and the food was only covering the bottom of ALL 4 food dishes. I have left my cats alone for 2 days in the past, with no one coming into the home to check on them, with the same set up of food and water(2 water bowls and 4 dishes of food). After 2 days of the cats being alone in the past, all of the bowls would still be about 80% full when I returned home. That was not the case when I returned after 4 days away with people supposedly caring for my pets. There is no way that they were filling their food and water daily, like I had contacted for them to do. I was very disappointed, but decided to just pay my bill and move on. I recently requested my keys back and they informed me they would be sent back via certified mail and there was a $20 charge to mail them per our contract. The same contract that stated the cats would be cared for daily. Their audacity in asking for $20 to get my keys back is what prompted me to leave this rating. I normally do not write reviews, but I wanted to warn others who care for their pets as much as I do, to BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE.
