I believe the company could have offered more money to get her too stay. the only bad thing would be I don't get the opportunity to work through it with her. she did recommend another therapist and I have seen her twice but it's too soon to tell how I feel about her. it's going to take time to be comfortable with a new person. Erin was the best for me and know my new one has big shoes to fill. I see Jenevier as well and shes also amazing. She talks to you without judgement.

Getting a hold of the office is a nightmare. They do not pick up, and you have to leave a voice…read moremail. I think I engaged in a dozen or so rounds of voice mail before I finally got someone and scheduled an appointment. I went in person to fill out the paperwork, which was quite a bit. Their machine was down so I couldn't give them payment for the upcoming visit. They called me to collect payment, and I gave it to them. The day before they called saying they couldn't see me unless I paid, and I told them I already paid. No intra-office communication. I saw Dr. Burns on Telehealth. She was 10 minutes late and dismissive when I mentioned that. She had zero personality. All she did was keep her face into her file to ask me ALL THE QUESTIONS I HAD ALREADY FILLED OUT. Then she administered a yes or no questionnaire with dubious reliability in my view. When my answer was neither yes or no, she got frustrated with me and kept saying "just answer the question yes or no." Then instead of having a shred of interest in me as a person, rather than me as a form to fill out, she wanted to book a month's worth of appointments. I said, "we haven't even built rapport yet, how can I book an appointment?" Then she told me this was part of the intake process, and I mentioned that most of the information she asked was on the papers I spent a long time in her office filling out, and I was being billed for that!!! Needless to say I did not want to see her again to be sure. No warmth, no interest in me as a person, she treated me as a task to complete. No thank you. And even worse, her video was poor quality and she was not in focus. I have a top of the line computer so it was for sure not me. Sorry but there's no way I can recommend her.

I have been seeing a NP at Charak in mentor for the last year. I have had many issues with…read morescheduling my appointments over the last few months. At the end of my session the NP and i make my follow up appointments. The day I show up for my appointment that we scheduled, the front desk tells me I do not have an appointment for that day . I understand these things happen, but this happens every month. I have severe depression and need to be seen every other week. This causes missed days without my medications since the Dr WILL not refill my medications if we do not have an appointment.

I made my first in-person appointment at the Mentor office and they could not tell me who I was…read morescheduled to see. They told me two names on two different occasions and when I arrived for my appointment, it was with a third totally different person. That was the first red flag. The next one was when I was led to a room with a computer where I would be video chatting with someone. I made an in-person appointment to come to the office and video chat...? The person I was connected with was at home, the lighting was dark, and I could only see half of her face. There was someone on the phone outside of the door almost the entire time of our call. The person I was video chatting with was asking me a lot of personal questions and asking me to yell the answer at the computer because she couldn't hear me, and this woman outside the door could undoubtedly hear me! In addition to this, it sounded like there was someone else in the room of the person I was video chatting with. I was mortified and shaking the whole time, but too scared to say anything or walk out because I really needed the help. She asked me a lot of questions about my mental health history and she seemed to be making a lot of assumptions rather than listening to my actual answers. She told me she would actually be DIAGNOSING ME that day which shocked and freaked me out! This woman barely knew anything about me so far and was telling me she was going to be diagnosing me! My anxiety was SKY HIGH. I started crying at one point when I started talking about how my mental struggles are currently affecting my life, and she said, "Aww, you poor thing. Don't worry, we'll get you something." That was a little off-putting because I felt like all they cared about was giving me medication to cover up my feelings. When I left, I was confused about what the next steps were. She told me she was going to submit a referral to the psychiatrist I guess? I'm not sure if they're supposed to call me or if I'm supposed to call them, but I haven't been contacted since that first appointment and I'm not going to contact them either. I left there extremely anxious and lightweight traumatized.

My disabled schizophrenic brother accidentally missed a call with his provider. He didn't know it…read morewas a "zoom" call. He thought it was a regular call. And once he realized he missed it he called to reschedule and the receptionist named Mary picked up and told him to go to a "no show clinic" and hung up in his face. And my family being as innocent as they are called back to ask her what a "no show clinic" was because they had no clue if she was talking about a real clinic or not and got hung up on 2 different times by the same person! MARY. You should be ashamed treating people like that. You guys are here to help people aren't you? Smh!!!!
