Outrageous Cabins - hot tub from outrageous cabins cabin overlooking dollywood and pigeon forge

Outrageous cabins is an online cabin rental company that operates and rents out of the popular and…read morebeautiful Sevierville Tennessee mountains. My family and I were in town from Lousiville for my daughters cheer competition and was looking to stay an extra day and enjoy the nearby Sevierville/Gatlinburg/pigeon forge areas. I found this company by using Yelp actually. They had a very reasonably priced cabin called the honey bear hollow that sleeps 8-12 people. Me having a family of 7 made it a perfect fit. So you book through the site. Place a credit card on file and pay half up and they will take the second half a week or so before your arrival date. The day of check in You will receive a text notification with an address and pass code for the cabin and the trash cans outside. The day before check out they will text you checking out info and cleanup rules. Our honey bear hollow cabin was beautiful and very nice. You have a covered porch with two rocking chairs and you walk into a nice spacious living room and a kitchen. Off that main floor to the immediate right of the kitchen is a king sized master bedroom and full bathroom with a dual shower head walk in shower. Off the backside of the kitchen is a locked door with a covered patio area with your own personal hot tub. As soon as you walk in where the living room area is a spiral staircase. You get to the top and immediately in front of you is another bathroom with a walk in shower. To the left is a loft area with a pool table and another king sized bed. To the right is another room that features a queen sized bed, a fun retro arcade machine with several classic arcade games and another full sized bed. On our trip here in March of 2022 we got to experience both warm weather cabin life and snowfall cabin life. On our first day here we had beautiful sunny weather up in the high 70's. The next morning we woke up to about 4 inches of snow. I'll give the grounds crew credit. The roads were salted the day before when it was sunny and when we woke up the next morning to a mountain winter wonderland the roads and Drive ways were completely cleared. The surrounding area of the cabin site has a few neighbors. Some closer than others but you still have a ton of privacy. The grounds in the very back has a cute small log cabin chapel and playground. Throughout the site is cool little decor of equipment and even a fake "general" or "thrift" store to give it that southern Sevierville feel to the place. The kids and us loved our cabin. Very spacious and comfortable beds. Nice place to play pr relax and has TVs in each room and in a beautiful area. They really enjoyed the personal hot tub as well. Outside we did have our own grill so if you want to cook out that is an option as well. If I had to critique anything it would be that the pool table in the loft is in a small and tight area. The pool sticks are too long to get off any shot you want without bumping a wall. The TVs all had directv so you had cable but it would be nice if they had a smart tv for streaming services. Overall this was a fantastic and well priced experience and visit. In most of our out of town cheer comps we have to stay in specific hotels near the competition sights. On this trip we was able to book what we wanted to and this massive and fun cabin was actually cheaper per night for a family of 7 like Mine. So we were thrilled with everything!

The only downfall is they should invest in mattress covers on the mattresses. Cause when we get ready to leave the mattresses are full of undesirable spots..

We have dined here before, and this experience was every bit as wonderful as we remembered. We both ordered the perfectly seasoned Burgundy Marinated Ribeyes, grilled exactly to our preference. Every bite was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For my sides, I chose the Crispy Cornmeal Fried Okra and Roasted Potatoes, while my husband had the Cauliflower and Broccoli Mix with Roasted Potatoes. I have to give a special shout-out to the fried okra--it was, without a doubt, the best fried okra I have ever eaten, and I'm from the South, so that says a lot! Our evening started with fresh house salads and our choice of dressing, accompanied by homemade bread. There was also a carafe of water with a crystal bowl of lemon slices and a dish of softened, creamy butter that was absolutely delicious spread over the warm, soft homemade bread. Those little details really added to the experience. And then came dessert! The homemade desserts were both delicious and generously portioned. We tried the Blueberry Chess Pie with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It reminded me of a buttermilk pie with blueberries, and it was absolutely delicious. We also had the Apple Cobbler, served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. The cobbler had a light cake-like base rather than a heavy dough, with just the right amount of sweetness and cinnamon. The edges were perfectly crispy--just like all good cobblers should be! Needless to say, we left pleasantly full, and I even took some of my meal home with me. This is one set of leftovers I cannot wait to dig into! Another unexpected highlight of our evening was the view from the side dining area. We sat by the windows overlooking the greenery and the chicken coop. I was completely entertained watching the chickens come out of their coop, cross the little dirt road, wander into the bushes on the other side, and then eventually make their way back through the shaded grass toward the front yard and coop as dusk settled in. It was such a peaceful and charming part of the evening. I also have to mention the Creamy Herb Chicken. Our daughter ordered it the last time we dined here, and we tried the crème fraîche herb sauce that came with it. Oh my goodness--it was to die for! My husband didn't remember that the sauce only comes with that particular chicken dish, so now we have the perfect excuse to come back soon so we can all enjoy it! Overall, I give our experience a 10 out of 10 for the ambiance, quality, generous portions, flavor, and attention to detail. Thank you, Chef Eric and Blue Mountain Mist Country Inn, for helping make our 19th Wedding Anniversary dinner so special. We truly enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning soon!

Some of our favorite aspects of this bed and breakfast include: our "Sugarlands" room with an amazing jacuzzi tub facing the outdoors, fresh baked goodies each night at 6:30 pm, the four resident kitties (our favorite being Mittens), the relaxing wrap around porch, and last but not least, the legendary breakfast. We looked forward to the breakfast and the Chef's creations each morning. I loved how they accommodated some of my dietary requests. The eggs were farm fresh, and a beautiful yellow hue. The fresh fruit with the fruit topping quickly became our favorite! Also, they have a well stocked coffee and tea station and cold drinks in the fridge that guests can help themselves to during any time of the day. So, if you're looking for a truly unique stay in the Smoky Mountains with spectacular views and mouthwatering breakfasts, look no further!! We have already booked our next stay and are counting down the days when we're sitting on the porch of the Blue Mountain Mist Inn again.

Before we ever arrived, we had multiple payment-related issues that required weeks of back and forth to resolve. The full balance was pulled incorrectly, I received messages saying our payment had been declined despite providing screenshots showing the charge and confirmation, and it took repeated communication before the payment was finally located and confirmed. Unfortunately, once we arrived, the cabin was not properly cleaned between guests. There was a strong smoke odor throughout the cabin, broken glass left behind, personal belongings from previous guests, clothing under furniture, confetti/debris, and remnants from what appeared to be a prior party. We had children staying with us, so the broken glass was especially concerning. Because we arrived shortly before scheduled dinner reservations, we did not spend our first night waiting on housekeeping or maintenance. Instead, we handled it ourselves so our family could safely settle in. We stripped beds, sanitized surfaces, cleaned bathrooms, and purchased replacement bedding and towels locally because of the smoke odor and concerns about cleanliness. We still made the best of our time in Pigeon Forge, but the overall experience fell far below expectations, especially given the amount paid for the stay. After checkout, I contacted management privately with photos and details of the issues. I also sent a polite follow-up when I received no response. As of posting this review, I still have not received any acknowledgment or response. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication after being given the opportunity to address the situation privately is incredibly disappointing. Based on the cleanliness concerns, safety issue with broken glass, payment problems, and lack of response from management, I would not book again.

Almost 100 dead lady bugs on window seals. Rusty nails exposed on rocking chair, ripped my shorts. It was our Anniversary trip and bought food to cook all of our meals, but no oven or stove and management did not replace or even offer a solution or to move cabins. Never received partial refund as promised. Hot tub must be 20 years old. Windows were very dirty as well. This was at cabin 23, bella vista. I dont think the owners were aware of all this. VRBO needs to remove them now.
