I'd like to start off by saying, I don't like to leave bad reviews I literally never do. But I am genuinely so upset if I could give this place 0 stars I seriously would. I went back in January to purchase a small bouquet of black roses for my valentine, the lady that helped check me out told me specifically that I would be able to pick my flowers up TODAY Monday, February 16th. I go to the store just to find absolutely nobody there. I work extremely hard all week and I wasn't able to have my Valentine's Day on the 14th, today the 16th is my Valentine's Day so it was extremely important to me that I got my bouquet. Seriously it would be one thing for me to just expect my flowers to be done and be super demanding about everything, but it's a WHOLE OTHER THING when an employee of that establishment tells you that your flowers WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICKUP on a day where they are CLOSED. I was standing outside and called them at least 6 times to absolutely 0 answer, I even tried going to surrounding businesses to see if they could contact any of the workers there for me but unfortunately that did not work either. Moral of the story is do not tell your customers that the product will be available for pickup on a day that you guys are closed, seriously that makes 0 sense. Worst $43.50 I've ever spent. Okay to update, I passed by again after I left Trader Joe's to buy more flowers and saw somebody was there and they were open. The lady threw in a few extra flowers for the confusion. So now I just want to say Im not upset anymore, though I did spend 45 more bucks at Trader Joe's to replace the flowers I thought I wasn't getting, I really really really wanted my black roses. So thanks to the lady who helped me out and gave me extra. read more

GREAT FLOWER SHOP! Day before Valentine's, I ordered flowers for home delivery. At 5:30p nothing there and we had to leave for dinner reservation. Returned home later and they were at the front door. The wife liked them...but was not the "large roses" I ordered. I went back to the Black Orchid and spoke to the owner Patty. Told her it was not the arrangement I picked out. Patti was most understanding, apolitical and would refund all my money back. I just wanted portion back. She gave a a large refund. Said she would deliver another arrangement FOR FREE on my wife's birthday. The staff and owner were courteous and professional in handling this matter during the very busy Valentine's Day event.
