What an experience! They were polite on the phone and worked with my schedule to come out and show samples. Were open to 100,00 million questions. Walked through blind and color samples. He measured and gave me a price and said lets order. I asked regarding turn around he gave approximate and they exceeded their turn around time. We used The Blind Guys in our new home. They came out and met with us while our home was under construction and measured for blinds. They were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional to work with. They told us it would take six weeks for our blinds to come in (delayed due to COVID) but they arrived in five weeks. Once they were delivered to Nebraska, the guys were here the next morning installing. They installed our entire home (20+ blinds) in less than two hours. The product is great! We went with the Allure transitional shades in black. I had other bidders try to talk me out of black but the Blind Guys assured me it would work in my home and they were right, they look great. Before they left the install, they showed us how to use our remotes and what to do if we ever have issues. They will support us in case anything breaks - other companies only warranty their blinds for one issue ever. The Blind Guys are a local, family-owned business and each one of the guys thanked us for our business. We really can't say enough good things about them. Our home improvement project this year was setting about to get an outdoor blind installed underneath the deck to make the west-facing outdoor patio a more comfortable space (ie: not melting or going blind) in the full sun of the afternoon. I know you can buy some DIY blinds at places like Sam's or Lowe's but we wanted something that would look good, fit the space, and provide enjoyment for years. After searching around, we choose The Blind Guy. My spouse handled most of the details but as you can see from the pictures we now have a custom sized shade that matches our house, has been professionally installed, and includes a warranty. Unlike most DIY shades, this one is secured with a pulley system on either side so it's not blowing around in our crazy Nebraska wind! My husband and I called two places to receive quotes on five windows in our house. Andy and his team beat the price of the other vendor. They were fast and courteous. The treatments came in much faster than expected. For the five windows we had done, it only took an hour to install. The team is very professional, they took their shoes off in the house, took all of their trash with them,cleaned up after themselves and even disposed of our old blinds.
