We have been undergoing a major remodel of our Catalina Foothills home all of 2024. As part of that, my wife and I have been talking about changing our window treatments throughout the house. One day back in October, we drove by The Blind Guys on Speedway and decided to stop in to see what they had. The lady in their small showroom was extremely helpful, and within a half hour we were pretty sure that they had what we were looking for, and that they were the company we would go with. We scheduled a design consultation for the following week. As scheduled, Adrian came to the house, took measurements, and helped us decide on the specific material and color. He estimated installation within 3-4 weeks. We scheduled installation for yesterday. Daniel came as scheduled and was done within 90 minutes. He was careful and meticulous in the installation, swept up after, and explained the operation of the motorized blinds and remote control. The Hunter Douglas blinds are perfect in every which way. We could not be more happy with The Blind Guys. Having started with the windows in the great room and hallway, we will now call them to finish the rest of our house. In conclusion, The Blind Guys exceeded our expectations in every way. Their service is impeccable, and their prices are fair. Initially Waited the 5 weeks for the blinds, which seemed pretty standard for custom blinds. When arrived, none of motorized blinds covered the windows to 'blackout', which is why I ordered new blinds in the first place to entirely blackout my space including my bedroom. Then the remote worked for 3 days then malfunctioned, thankfully the blinds were closed, however I sat in the dark for over two weeks until they 'could replace the remote'. Further, the motors were all defective and needed to be replaced. I spent another significant amount of money changing the blinds from inside mount to outside mount which I was told would provide blackout. No blackout. The staff that sells the blinds are not designers so there's not much of a suggestion in different styles which is unfortunate because Hunter Douglas has many different styles and I'm sure there's a way to blackout a room which just didn't happen for me. Thousands of dollars later, disappointed, no blackout and can't sleep past the sun rising. Will need to add curtains at an additional cost to block out the bedroom. The woman who did the sale was extremely kind and responsive. She also came over on her own time to replace motors and even paid out of her own pocket for partial replacement. This didn't at all seem fair to her. The Good Guy Promise does not actually provide a replacement for free... Entire process took over 7 months. I do not recommend. read more

vile abusive company fitted full house with blinds sadly 1 was distorted and mark thomas was sent out from shawlands he disagreed and became aggressive and hostile starting to take internal photos when i objected he went balistic ranting and raving i asked him to leaved he refused started screaming at me i called the police on 999 as i am a pensioner only then did cowardly thomas leave drove off in his little van almost colliding into a car this is on my neighbours dash cam june the so called manager said she would sort out she has now went deaf and dumb trading standards now involved who have police scotland crime number. read more
