THE BLIND GUYZ ROBBED US BLIND. We reached out to this company to do blinds for our Patio. The installers were great. However the manufacturer of the blinds another story. The first time they came the shade/ screens were the wrong color. 2nd time the longest screen mechanism at the front of the patio bowed which did not allow it to operate properly The 3rd time the other side of the patio the blind was made not wide enough to fit into the tracks to fit into the tracks that they travel up and down on. Out of nowhere we received a letter informing us they are not coming back. They have completely abandoned us with an unfinished system attached to our house, unused parts on the patio and a $7,000 deposit. ((((( HELP))))) read more

We paid $7,000 deposit and got: X WRONG color blinds (replaced after months) X A blind that is too long and heavy for the motor (inoperable - wrong from the beginning) X Another blind made too small for the tracks (inoperable) X ZERO follow-through, ZERO resolution Now after months of "we'll fix it" they sent a certified letter saying the project is now "UNECONOMICAL" ... and they're withdrawing. I had such high hopes and expectations from the moment I received the recommendation for The Blind Guyz. We have always installed our own blinds so I was thrilled to hire someone to do it in our new home. It turned out to be miscommunication, lies and disappointment. They will attempt to sell you by telling you they will automatically upgrade you to larger blinds. There is no free upgrade. The blinds are average quality. Honestly, the ones we have purchased at Home Depot in the past look nicer. We should have had our blinds installed by July 9th. We finally had them all installed this week. We were offered nothing for our troubles except mismatched blinds. I wish I had read the reviews before signing the contract. read more

What a great experience I had today. I bought blinds several years ago from the Blind Guyz. I had a couple of blinds that needed some attention. I called them this morning. Can you believe they came out today and fixed them? They went over and above anything I could've asked. Not sure about their work. Spoke with Rick? Scheduled an appointment for an estimate, got the appt. details and reminders from the automated system and haven't heard from them since. Have tried to contact since with no replies. Perhaps the job was too difficult, outside of their comfort zone or simply too far to travel. EXPENSIVE! I mean EXPENSIVE! We paid $265 for two small, narrow blinds to hang on a french door. I could have bought the blinds for $20 (for both) at Lowe's or Home Depot and had them installed for probably $50. The ONLY reason we used this company is because we built a new house and we wanted to have this set of blinds match. Took all of 15 minutes to install. Even I could have done it with a basic screwdriver. The installer was very nice. My suggestion: Get a price for the blinds at a home improvement store, and install them yourself or ask a friend who's handy with tools. read more

We had an appointment set. The guyz texted to say running late, then again. Yet to hear back after 2 days.

The Blind Guyz did a fantastic job and we couldn't be more pleased with our new beautiful auwning on our deck. Before we could not use this space because it gets the strong western sun, but under the awning it feels like a good 15 degrees cooler and keeps the breakfast room area inside cool as well. HORRIBLE!!! The communication is horrendous. Truly, laughable. The absolute WORST!!! They have an answering service and you never hear back. I spoke to Sarah once, who was the only one who seemed to know ANYTHING, and then, could never get her to respond again. I had guys come out to quote a repair, new shutters for a kitchen window, and shutters for my entire upstairs (three dormers, and two large bedrooms). I chose paint color and styles all at this time. Dave, the owner, also came out (completely unannounced) to get measurements, for the second time as he never talked to his own employees, who had already been out and completed this step. After double measurements, and a complete disregard for my time, I had to call to prompt anyone to get me a quote after all of this!!! Finally, we agreed to get the repair going and the kitchen shutter project in the works (which Dave wanted paid up front) and literally, could not get a response after that. I was leery to do my entire upstairs after the total unprofessionalism or follow-through up until this point. You want me to fork over $3k and cannot extend the courtesy of a call back!!?? Dream on!! I agreed to your price and was ready to get going... and literally cannot get anyone to call me back or answer a text. Infuriating. Biggest waste of time EVER!!! Probably did me a HUGE favor. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! I ordered $1600.00 worth of blinds for my new home. I was promised a superior product. I was not happy with the quality of the product once they were delivered. They looked very cheap and flimsy to me. The owner came out to discuss. He was not willing to work with me in any way to get this resolved. When I asked about customer satisfaction, he told me that I was the only person in 17 years that had complained about the quality of the blinds. Yeah, right!!! His installers laughed and said that it happens all the time. go to Lowes, you will get a far superior product and will actually get to see the product prior to purchasing. The only reason I gave them 1 star is because I can't give -1 stars. This place has the worst customer service. They don't return phone calls and when they do, you get lied to regarding when they're going to do the work that they never end up doing. We moved to the area and we purchased blinds for out home about 21 and 2 shades. They came out showed us samples, shared ideas, and we set up a date to install. We were in the process of moving from another state and they were helpful with adjusting installation times to meet our schedule. It was a great price and I love my blinds. A lot of people in my neighborhood had theirs done and no one has had a problem so far and I got the blinds in April. I would use them again. Very helpful. read more

They installed my blinds about 8 years ago. Back in January, I noticed that the paint was cracking/splitting on all of the blinds. They got the blinds from me and repainted them, even though the manufacturer would not honor the warranty. My only complaints are that the process took a LONG time (3 months plus), and they were not easy to contact/return calls. read more

Before you buy anything from Blind Guyz Senoia check the BBB- they got an F. Thankfully, we didn't buy anything from Blind Guyz Senoia but we did get them to install our new shades. We bought our shades from Blinds.com and needed someone to install them. We set up an installation appointment with Dave but he never showed and never called so we called him and he didn't answer. We called him from a different phone number and he answered and said he wasn't able to come because he had to take a friend to the doctor earlier. We would have totally understood had he called us to let us know. We finally convinced him to come out and install that night and he arrived an hour + late with a less than sunny disposition. A few months later one of our blinds fell and we asked him to come hang it again. We set an appointment but he called to reschedule for 2 days later. 2 days later he never called and never showed up. We emailed him and called and left 2 messages with no response. Initially, we were glad to have found them because we just started renovating several houses to sell and rent- glad we found out how dependable they are before we gave them a bigger job. I had a bad experience with The Blind Guyz in Fayette County. I had recently purchased a new home in Senoia. The builder had placed blinds on the front of the house, and quoted me an additional $1000.00 to do the entire house. I was not happy with the quality of the builder grade blinds, so I decided to purchase blinds on my own. I met with the owner, David, who agreed that the existing blinds were cheap. He quoted me $1670.00 to do the remainder of the home. He said that his product was far superior to the ones that the builder had used and that I would be very happy. In fact, he told me that once I saw his blinds, I will want to replace the ones the builder supplied. Even though the quote was significantly higher, I wanted a quality blind, and figured I would do the rest of the home at a later date. I believed in what the owner told me, and placed the order, paying for it in full. About a week later, two installers came to my home to install my new blinds. After they started the install, I quickly called the owner and said that I was very unhappy with the quality of the blinds that were supposed to be a much better blind, and in my opinion, looked even cheaper than the ones the builder had installed. He agreed to meet with me, but did say that I was the only person in his 17 years of business to be unhappy. I stopped the installers, apologized, but said that I was not happy with the product. I also, passed on the information David had shared with me about how was the first person to be unhappy. They laughed and said "it happens all the time." David met with me a few days later. Keep in mind, he had never actually shown me a sample of the blinds that he was ordering. He should have shown me exactly what he was ordering so that I could have made a decision to purchase them or not. I should have requested to see a sample, but I really believed that I was buying a much better product. I guess hindsight is always 20/20. I told David that I wanted a refund. He said that wasn't going to happen; that he had fulfilled my order, and that he had ordered these same blinds for over 12,000 customers, and everyone of them had been happy. I told him that that was irrelevant, and that I was not happy. He didn't seem to care, and was not willing to offer any resolution. I guess customer satisfaction means nothing. If I could give any advise to anyone blind shopping...make sure that you "see" the actual product before you make an investment like this.
