Blind Rhino Milford: A Sports Fan's Dream Come True! For anyone on the hunt for the perfect venue to watch a game in Milford, the newly opened Blind Rhino at 21 Daniel St. is an absolute must-visit! This lively spot has taken over the former Eli's Tavern, and the excitement surrounding it is palpable. Earlier in the day, while strolling with our dog, we couldn't help but notice the buzz about Blind Rhino. After completing our invigorating 3-mile walk, we hurried home, eager to dive into this new sports haven. Upon entering, we were immediately enveloped by the vibrant atmosphere--crowded, loud, and filled with the irresistible aroma of wings and spirited conversations. If you're a devoted New York Knicks or Pittsburgh Steelers fan, this place is basically a new home away from home! With TVs strategically positioned throughout the restaurant and a mean a lot of TV's , you can catch every thrilling moment of the game, whether it's a jaw-dropping slam dunk or a nail-biting last-minute touchdown. Now, a word about parking--while it can be a bit of a challenge in Milford, those willing to take a short stroll from the town center will find themselves at this sports paradise in no time, likely faster than a Steelers linebacker can sack a quarterback. And being right across from the Stonebridge, a Milford staple. We were pleasantly surprised to discover that they were running a happy hour special--$5 beers and ciders! And discounted appetizers. In the spirit of supporting local businesses, I chose a Tribus Benjie, which paired perfectly with our meal. To kick things off, we ordered a round of dry rub chicken wings that were spicier than a Knicks fan's reaction to a missed call. These wings were not only tender but also bursting with flavor, setting a high bar for the rest of our dining experience. Now, let's talk about my main course--the Cheese Steak. This delectable sandwich was piled high with thinly-sliced ribeye, sweet Vidalia onions, and a generous portion of new American cheese ( as they posted on the menu ) . It was so good that I almost forgot I was in Connecticut and not at a bustling eatery in Philadelphia! My dining companion opted for the Lomo wrap, which was a delightful mix of grilled ribeye, sautéed red onions, and tomatoes, all wrapped up with fries and drizzled with a zesty cilantro sauce. Who knew fries could be so revolutionary? Both sandwiches came accompanied by homemade fries that were perfectly crispy and delightfully salty. A special shoutout goes to our server, Ashley, who was as cheerful as a Steelers fan celebrating a touchdown. Her friendly and attentive service truly enhanced our experience. Now, let's address the intriguing name of the establishment--Blind Rhino. We couldn't help but wonder if there's a fascinating story behind it. Is it a nod to the quirky side of sports culture, or perhaps a reference to an adventurous tale? Whatever the origin, it certainly piques curiosity and adds a unique charm to the place! In summary, if you're looking to escape the confines of your home, indulge in delectable pub grub, and cheer for your favorite sports teams, make your way to Blind Rhino! With no bad seats in sight and a lively atmosphere, you're in for a fantastic time. Let's go Knicks! Let's go Steelers!

Took my friend here for a birthday drink. The atmosphere was good was calm. The service was great. The waitress was very nice to us. Very jolly. The drinks were good. The wings were amazing. That's what we went there for and to have a drink. I will go back and try other wing flavors but It's a good place to try.

I really wanted to try the Blind Rhino for a while. I came to the Milford foodie fest & they had a truck there. I ordered the Mc Rhino burger(2 thin beef patties,American cheese, minus pickled onions, sriracha thousand island sauce). The burger was a little overcooked but it was very flavorful. The thin pickles gave it a kick. The sriracha thousand island sauce was the cherry on top. The server was very nice! I know they're more famous for their wings but I was winged out from the white plains,ny wing walk. Maybe next time. The Blind Rhino truck is available for private parties, festivals, brewery bookings & more!

Did someone say the best chicken wings in Connecticut? Well I am here to try it for myself. I ordered the Mango habanero and Plum sriracha wings. The wings came out nice and crispy. The Mango Habanero was on the sweeter side and the sauce was pretty tasty. The Plum sriracha wings were sweet and spicy. The plum flavor gave the spiciness a nice blend. Although both flavors were great my preference was the Plum sriracha. Drinks were also pretty good and went well with the wings. I ordered the jalapeño guava margarita it had a nice spicy blend that was not overwhelming. I also tried the Mango Margarita and it was also prepared very well with a nice mixture. I tried to make sure my drinks complemented my wings. The bar had a nice neighborhood atmosphere with their regulars sitting at the counter. The bartender was cool he did an awesome job preparing the cocktails.

When I want wings, I always come to this place, without a doubt it is a place for the whole family to share and spend. Nice time, it has some board games and many screens to watch the games. The beers there are also very good and the service is good.

One of my favorite places to order wings. The wings are even better if you go to the restaurant nice hot and crunchy they've introduced a couple of new sauces. I just had the lemon pepper sauce. I love the sauce so much. I actually asked the waitress for a small little container so I could dip my fries in it. The ambience is comfortable with the sports bar and a wide open window. Great job on the wings! Please bring back the fried pickles!!

I've never actually been there before, but the menu looked like it had a diverse number of options for anyone's tastes, was not wildly overpriced, and to be honest, as a walker as opposed to a frequent driver, I've always been fascinated by the "tables for ladies" ad on the window. Hey, I'm a lady - and so is she - so there will certainly be a table for us! We chose to eat outside, which was perhaps not the best decision, as it is just loud there in the middle of the day, which is no fault of the restaurant's, but my friend did ask the waiter if they could possibly lower the music being piped into the outdoor seating area more than once, as it was already loud enough from the street traffic, and that request was not accommodated. Meh, I can let it slide, even though he could have just said, "no, we can't do that" instead of saying, "yes, of course" each time. Honesty is always the best policy, right? I ordered the veggie wrap with fries - which is a rare splurge for me - and it was perfectly cooked with a well-balanced flavors, properly grilled, marinated just enough, not overstuffed and everything stayed together through the whole meal - which is an A+ right there. It was large and I reheated the other half the next day, and same thing - it was just as good as it was when it was fresh from the kitchen. I've kind of been craving it since I had it. I am usually not a mayo fan at all, notoriously so, but their pesto mayo knocked it out of the park -- and I absolutely love that they serve it on the side, as I find , by default, many restaurants over-sauce anything - and even order burgers with ketchup on the side, as I prefer to taste the sandwich not the sauce, which is meant to complement, not overpower. The fries were shoestring, and yet perfectly cooked and not overly, nor under salted - and not a burnt one was in sight. Just based on this dish, it is clear they take care and pay attention to detail in their kitchen and I definitely would go back. My dining partner also had a wrap she loved, and had cole slaw with hers. We shared the fries and cole slaw. I loved the addition of cilantro to the slaw, but that was the one dish I found to be somewhat lacking -- it was a bit dry. I took the leftovers home, added a little extra mayo, a dab of ground mustard, and the tiniest bit of white vinegar (proportionate to the amount left) and served it as a side with a burrito I made my husband for dinner. He loved it. As those ingredients are the basic core of my cole slaw recipe, I think they gave me a new recipe to work with when I am making a slaw to go with Mexican food, as it worked SO well. (I also tied it together with a squeeze of lime - because what goes better with cilantro than lime?) Nonetheless, it was inspired of their chef(s) to add cilantro to cole slaw -- and I wish I had thought of it. Thank you for that inspiration to wow my Mexican relatives! I will be back and can't wait to see what other treasures are on their menu. I most unfortunately have an allergy to all fish and shellfish, so there are things I cannot try -- which is a running issue for me anywhere I go -- but I know there are many great meals there ahead of me.

The nachos were the only decent thing we got, but they were slightly on the cold side. The wings took about 45 minutes to come out and we're cold to the touch, as well as very small with little meat on them. Lastly, the burger came out about ten minutes after the wings which was also ice cold AND missing two of the main toppings listed in the description. Sodas took 20 minutes to get- and even then they were left on the bar, my husband noticed and went up to get them himself. We asked for refills which never came. The mozzarella sticks were gross, and arrived with the salsa meant for our nachos instead of marinara. Like what!?! The nachos also didn't come with the sour cream & guac as the description in the menu noted. I understand the place was very busy, but it was definitely under staffed, with pretty terrible staff. Even when our server wasn't busy, she was literally standing behind the bar on her phone instead of checking in with her tables. I heard another table complain about their burger being really cold too.

The staff was super friendly, and I ordered a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese. It was made on a Brioche roll with a fried egg. Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the egg or the sandwich overall. It was okay, probably a three-star kind of thing. Next time I went back, I tried the Calise sandwich, which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. I asked for the broccoli rabe on the side because I know everyone makes it differently. I get that it can be bitter, but some places make it taste amazing without the bitterness, so I wanted it on the side. The sandwich was really good, so I'd give it four stars, especially since the breakfast one was just three in my book. Sometimes you gotta visit a place a couple of times to really get a feel for their food. I wasn't really a fan of the broccoli rabe--it was a bit too bitter for me. But the sandwich itself was tasty, with well-seasoned chicken and really fresh mozzarella. Not sure if they make the mozzarella in-house, but it's delicious. It tasted just like you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Very good. Third time I went, I tried the Mother Clucker, which has a chicken cutlet, Russian dressing, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I wanted to try it because I'd seen it being made during my last visit and it looked awesome. It took about ten minutes to get ready. When I opened it up, I realized it had melted cheddar, not sliced like I thought, but it was all good. The sandwich was tasty, but a bit over the top with the bacon and melted cheddar--almost too much. I think using sliced cheddar would bring everything together better. The melted cheese kinda takes away from it, in my opinion. The bacon was crispy even with the cheesy sauce on top, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. I definitely plan to come back and try the Chopped Italian Combo. The staff's always friendly and welcoming, and it's a solid spot if you're looking for breakfast, with plenty of breakfast platters and other menu items that might catch your eye.
