Ok, now...I've been in love with macarons for years now, ever since I tasted them at some posh bakery in LA and then in DC. Then I moved to Utah. A culinary wasteland. I saw an article in the Daily Herald about Brian and his...Macarons. I was curious but not curious enough to order some. Then I saw him selling his macarons at the Provo farmer's market. I bought two of every flavor and... Ermagerrrrd! They were SO good! Better than the ones I tries in LA and DC. Fast forward two years later...I'm still a huge fan. They just melt in my mouth after that initial satisfying crunch. Brian manages to pack so much flavor into each macaron. I often get some without knowing what kind they are and I can instantly identify what flavors they are, 99% of the time. Not like the neon colored ones you can get at Harmon's. Everything looked good, and the young lady behind the counter provided immediate service. We had the eclairs and the Napoleons. The eclairs were excellent with good flavor and texture. They were smaller than what I think of as a standard size for an eclair, but we would get them again. The Napoleons were another matter. The layers of flaky puff pastry were soft and limp, not flaky and a bit crunchy as they should be. Perhaps the Napoleons had sat too long in the display case, and the pastry absorbed liquid from the custard layers. We would not buy a Napoleon there again.

Had to come back a few days later to try the soda shops. The service was great and the nice gentleman made great recommendations. We tried the Pepperlada, the Lime in the Coconut and the Pina Cola-Da. All are so tasty and they can make most drinks in sugarfree version too. I think the cream is not sugarfree and they'll let you know of allergen list if needed. Clean and bright space. The only thing was they didn't really call out names every time and you'd have to just go check to see if your drink was ready. I think it'll be a different story if we went through the drive thru but this was our first time and wanted to browse through their large menu. Def a treat though, great drinks and great service!

The honeycomb ice cream is to die for--creamy, flavorful, and unlike anything I've had before. The place itself is small but charming, and the staff was super friendly.
