Hidden gem! This place was SO good! Prices were reasonable. It was $5 for a little cookie sandwich and $6 for a large. I got a large Cookie Monster (vanilla with chips ahoy 10/10) with double fudge cookies. And let me tell you, this was a LOT. Way too much for just myself but a perfect amount to split it with someone. Everything tasted amazing. The place was pretty small and there were only about 6 tables. It got really busy at night so it filled up and got so loud. I couldn't hear anyone at my table due to the loud music and crowded place but it didn't affect how much I LOVED what I got. I am totally going here again.

Penguin brothers is a hidden gem in Provo and it's a must!! They use ice cream from Rockwell ice cream - which is high quality and has the most amazing flavors. My only complaint is with the cookies - They were hard and crunchy. I wish they'd been soft and warm. I need to go back and try the warm cazookie with ice cream because I bet it will be perfection.

Back now that I've been many more times. LOVE this place. The oatmeal cookie is my absolute favorite. Haven't had a bad thing off the menu yet either! They also have gluten free, vegan, and dairy free options!!

Pleasant staff. Exuberant decor. Ambrosial flavors. You can't go wrong at this high-spirited snackery. I would like to thank 'The Penguin Brothers' personally for being the venue of thousands of awkward first dates among college students in the Provo area. Someone had to take the responsibility, and you surely understood the assignment.

Delicious in every sense of the word. The aesthetic of this small place is really great, and Penguin Brothers has become a Provo staple. Only thing I would change would be the location and the size of the parking lot. It is hidden and so hard to get in and out of!

Mint Oreo cookie and biscoff. Good. Say hi to Megan. Mint Oreo could be better. Nice. Low ceilings, lots of pictures. Great. !

Pros: Rockwell Ice cream! Delicious freshly baked cookies Unique location with fun INSTAGRAMMABLE wall Very cheery staff Drive-thru option Con: With the construction on Cougar BLVD they added a median. If you are going E on cougar, you will have to do a U-turn at the Intersection with N 150 E. There are only a few parking spaces. I love Penguin Brothers! It the perfect post-date treat or quick pick-me-up on a bad day! They have fully sized cookie ice cream sandwiches and mini versions (big bro vs lil' bro) and pazookies! They are really fast at this location and it's never been ridiculously busy. They have both indoor and outdoor seating areas.

What a quality establishment. This place is the kinda local place that you take a big wig from new york to so that you can impress them of your prowess and elite knowledge of the city of provo. It is famed. Not to mention the most bodacious art that can be found. Abbie ellie and lizzy are the trio for the ages. Our friends needed a post broomball treat and decided to swing through arriving two minutes AFTER closing. Service was sauce. They also gave us these delightful little cookie ball concoction. Its places like penguin brothers that make the world go round.

The Rockwell ice cream flavors are so good and the cookies are perfectly soft so you can actually bite into them like a sandwich.

An interesting concept that works. 3.8 stars, is that a thing? LOL…read more This location is pretty cool. Nice layout and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. (Gotta use "chill" and "cool" when talking about an ice cream place, right?) Just by the entrance and under the stair case is a comfy cubby with two or three high rise tables and chairs. A cozy place to eat your ice cream with a nice window view of the entryway and the street. Then there is the upstairs. You go up a long spiral staircase (there's a landing halfway up) to go to the upper room. Pretty cool. Good view of the Provo Temple across the street. Fun place to eat your ice cream. The employee was not only friendly but you could tell she enjoyed her job. She had fun every time she had to make the ice cream. She told you all about it, too. So on the to ice cream. I had a mix in from the menu, Key Lime pie. Lime-flavored ice cream with bits of cheesecake and something else. It was OK, but I bordered on not liking it. It didn't remind of Key lime pie. But the texture was dense. That's what they are proud of. This process does not stir air into the mixture so it is much more dense than regular ice cream. And not only that, you get a lot of it. The small size cup is really huge! I'm not a fan of the texture. I like a good creamy, smooth ice cream. And while it makes you feel like you are getting more for your money, while not bad, the experience is not a good as a creamy ice cream or gelato. It's ice cream. And it's dense. Very dense. Still Ice cream, though, but very dense. It's not bad. Just not my jam. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I thought it was also nice that they had dietary restriction friendly options for those who are keto, gluten free, or vegan. I actually ended up trying one of the sugar free options because the flavors sounded really yummy! I wasn't in the mood for a heavy loaded up cup, but those looked incredible too. I stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon and the space was pretty quiet and chill. The staff members were so incredibly kind and helpful when I was making my decision. They also made it really easy to transport back home. I ended up going with the sugar free butter toffee. This was the first time I've seen sf options at an ice cream shop and unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. For the most part my experience with sugar free options has been great, but this was completely devoid of any flavor. I'm almost wondering if the sf flavors are a gimmick to make you feel like you're choosing, when in actuality they just whip up cold milk. Part of the experience is they make the ice cream in front of you, but aside from adding a little stevia I'm not sure what all went into my ice cream. When I got home and tried a scoop it just tasted like whole milk. I was super disappointed because I got a large! I'm torn between giving the sf option another shot or just writing it off forever. It was my first time trying Sub Zero, so I'm sad this was my first impression. Besides the flavorless taste, the texture is fun and almost reminds me a little of dippin dots. Overall, torn on my decision to try this place again or not. There's so many good dessert options around, so I guess we'll see. I still think it's a place you should try at least once, but order the sf options at your own risk!

I've never been to the Creamery before, but I will definitely come back!…read more I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was quite tasty. There are a few different stations with condiments and other sandwich toppings (including fry sauce), so it's a bit much to navigate, but it allows you to top your sandwich however you like. I also stole a few fries from my daughter, and they were delicious. After dinner, we got ice cream. I tried the chocolate Graham Canyon--two thumbs up! We also bought a few other things (cookies and cream milk, chocolate chip banana bread), and everything was yummy. The wait is very long for both food and ice cream, and somehow there aren't enough tables (even though there are a lot of them). It's quite crowded, too. But it's a fun and cheerful space, and it seems like a spectacular spot for students on campus to meet up and have fun.

Wow. This new Creamery has really upgraded the experience…read more Same great ice cream, but more workers mean the lines move faster. Same grill. Same grocery except it is larger and more a legit complete grocery store. Some departments are smaller than a regular grocery store, like the produce section, but still offers plenty. The outdoor patio seating is great. Heating lamps for cold days and they have misters installed for the hot days. Nice lights for evenings and nights. Parking is still a big challenge. More parking, but it is very narrow between the rows. I didn't park my truck there because of it. But parking is accessible at the Music School across the street for a very easy walk. At this visit I had the raspberry cream cheese--it was really good! And of course, I had to buy two bottles of Cookies and Cream milk to take home. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good.
