Food great good break from pubs food. We sat on a couch and table and had a great time highly recommended

The restaurant serves salads and pizzas in a really quaint and relaxed setting. The side salads are gigantic but poorly dressed and lacking in flavour. They are largely just heaps of lettuce. The pizza toppings are fine but the dough is reminiscent of what would happen if you layered giant won ton wrappers on top of one another and piled on pizza toppings. Excellent if you want crunchy pizza! This is not pizza in the traditional sense. At €13-€15 a pop, it's completely overpriced for what you get. Not necessarily a horrible meal given the ambiance but you're not coming here for the food. read more

Stopped here last night with my wife. I assume that the gray-haired guy with glasses who gives direction to the other employees is the owner? He has an accent but it's not Irish, maybe German? Anyway, when I asked if beer and wine were the only alcohol they had, he responded "You'll have to go next door for good beer. Ours isn't draught." Wait, what?... Then we sat at the bar and I asked for menus. After about 10 minutes he walked up to us and abruptly says "We're closing the kitchen in 5 minutes so order if you're going to. We served 50 dinners today and we've been very busy." I said we'll have the meat lovers with no ham or chicken. He said "why don't you just order the Italian? " "Because it has ham on it. I don't want ham." He walked away grouchy. Then while eating, I realized that he really is a dick when I saw that this place believes that Communist murderers are "cool" or trendy. They actually have a che guevera clock on the wall. There are way better places than this in Dingle. Consider it a hard pass. read more

My husband and I stopped in early on a Monday evening. The place was absolutely empty. When we went to grab a seat, we were immediately informed by staff that they were "booked for the entire night." At 5:30pm when they're open until 9:30pm? The staff member did not give us the opportunity to even ask if we had a reservation or to take our name down, considering they were open another 4 hours. With barely any guests, you'd think they'd be jumping for the business. read more

Went to eat at this restaurant and the grey haired man who I assume was the owner was incredibly rude. He scoffed at us for saying we didn't have a booking and told us it was full and we needed to leave in a rude manner. There are much better places to find food in Dingle with caring people that deserve the business. I don't recommend to eat here. read more

Another Irish place that I wish was closer to home! The only place other than the Chinese food restaurant open late for food in Dingle. Funky, hippie atmosphere. Dark and cool, cool, cool. Our waitress was great -friendly and nice. Our pizzas and flatbread were all delicious. Music, as one would expect in a jazz bar, was perfection. No beers on tap but it just added to the mood of the place. We enjoyed our wines and bottles of beer. It was a comfy and cozy retreat after a long day of driving through Ireland and getting soaked walking through Dingle looking for a dinner spot post-9 pm. We will be returning to Dingle because we loved it so much and I will definitely make time to sip some wine on the cozy couches of the Blue Zone. read more

Stopped in here for a pizza hit while traveling through Ireland. We had eaten nothing but seafood for the last few days and, while it was great seafood, we wanted a slight rest. We ordered a 12 inch pizza and a large greek salad for the both of us and split it as suggested by another reviewer here and it turned out to be just right. The staff was quiet but engaged when we asked questions. The bill was around 30 Euros after a few bottles of Coca Cola and water. Quiet music plays in the background. I'm glad we stopped in here. Hidden away upstairs next to Dick Mac's Pub is this cute little pizza/wine bar full of cosy corners and curious creations. My girlfriend and I love going here on date nights as it is cosy and dark and if you are lucky enough to get one of the leather couches you can enjoy a romantic meal for about €30 (which is very cheap for Dingle) This is not your normal pizza joint and expect to have to decipher the menu from pizza titles such as The Holy Choice and The Hot Stuff Iberian!?! But everything we have had in there so far has been delicious with beautiful crisp bases and they will happily add a few extra ingredients for little or no charge. The real gems though are the salads that are literally the size of your head and you never know what they will contain. Corgette, cauliflower, its all thrown in, with a nice drizzle of balsamic vinegar. We tend to order one pizza and one salad and that is plenty of food for the both of us - and I like to eat! Don't expect too much from the staff, but they won't bother you either if you've been nursing the dregs of a bottle of wine for a while. Also note that they open till midnight and serve pizza's all night long, so its the only place you can sit down to eat in Dingle after 10pm. read more

This is the best pizza spot in Dingle.They're open late and have specials on Mondays. The potato wedges are the best in town and the Garlic bread is spectacular.The Iberia pizza is the one to have and the other pizzas are good as well.If I'm back in Dingle I'll make it a point to return here. read more

The pizza is about on par with a good frozen pizza. Locals told me this place used to be better, then went really downhill with new ownership, and is now "ok". I suppose it's fine given the location (not many options out here) but just don't expect anything great. It's serviceable. The interior vibe is pretty cool though, quaint like a coffee shop or cafe. Wouldn't mind hanging out or working here for a while. As far as service, I called in a large pizza "half pepperoni and half Italian" and I got there to find they had made me 2 pizzas. My friend agreed that I ordered clearly. It worked out fine, though, as their large pizzas are the size of a small... So plan accordingly... But otherwise I'd be pretty annoyed about ordering an incredibly common pizza order and being looked at as though I am from another planet for being surprised to discover that they made me 2 entire pizzas when I ordered a half & half. read more

I almost didn't come here because of the negative reviews . But I'm glad I did. First off, keep in mind this is dingle Ireland . They aren't going to have authentic pizza. We just got into town and were looking for good food and drink. The people at the Blue zone didnt dissapoint. We had a gourmet salad as a starter that had everything in it. The size was large for a starter but excellent in taste. We then had the ham, mushroom, olives, and garlic pizza. It came out thin and extra crispy and was delicious. We came here for dessert and wine, the first time. It has a warm comfortable vibe. I loved the couches and the deep blue colour of the walls. It was the 2nd to last day for the season and we decided to come the next night for dinner because the food looked really great. The pizza we had was as good as any we get in Brooklyn NY. read more

A guy came out and stood over us until we ordered which was unfortunate because we ordered something we didn't want. He said he had a big order coming in and needed to get ours in. Our waitress was nice enough, but the food was not very appealing with a weird salad and a lame pizza. The apple pie with ice cream was the redeeming quality here. read more

Absolutely awesome. It's upstairs and has a really cool inside lounge area to eat. The pizzas are reasonably priced and there is a large variety for every type of pizza lover. They have a large selection of bottled beers, but nothing on tap. When you think of Ireland, you don't necessarily think of pizza but this will be a pizza you won't forget. Seriously, the cook licked his finger while putting all ingredients on pizza, in between he goes outside and smokes cigarettes. Than he comes back and he doesn't wash his hands. On the top of everything, pizza is horrible. do yourself a favorite, just avoid this place. read more

Their under the sea pizza was awesome and their salad was amazing! Great little spot to get out of the rain and enjoy a good meal.

Excellent dinner! After way too much very good fish & chips, and burgers that taste like dried out meatloaf, around various places in Ireland... this was extremely tasty. Number nine pizza with side salad (which is huge and has a million ingredients), with some red wine. Nice quick friendly service, too. read more

We were pleased to find this place after everywhere else in town had over an hour wait for dinner. The restaurant is kind of hidden but has a very nice atmosphere with jazzy music and nice decor. It is a family restaurant so if you're looking for a quiet place without kids this isn't it. Food is a little on the pricey side but the portions are huge- also a lot of vegetarian options! A true foodie's delight! The Moroccan pizza was amazing with its spicy and exotic flavors, the Chorizo was to die for, the house made thin crust is light and crispy and all 7 in our party had a winning pie. The Feta salad was HUGE and excellent, although unique in its flavors - so only if you're a lover of unique new flavors. A winner of a restaurant hands down! read more
