It's mid-level microwave quality Italian at best. Definitely skip this place & head to another of the local spots in Bluffton.

My visiting friends who were newcomers and I came in recently and felt like we were imposing on her. I personally was in several times over the past few weeks and spent over $200 on gifts but having someone treat us as though we were bothering her is unlikely to create repeat business with newcomers. I was excited to show off the treats made with spice mixes, olives, cherries, as well as the olive oils and balsamics. Alas, no treats other than the bread and oil which was disappointing. And it was the weekend so really no excuse. Everyone still spent plenty. Negatives aside, the oils and vinegars are sublime. I'm sure I'll be back but will peek in to see who's working first.

They offer a wide variety of flavored olive oils and balsamic vinegars, and the best part is that customers are encouraged to sample as many as they'd like. It's a great way to discover new favorites. We always stock up while we're here. One of my personal favorites is the Spicy Pepper Olive Oil -- it's perfect for dipping bread and adds a great kick to meals at home. While their focus is clearly on oils and vinegars, they also carry a thoughtfully curated selection of related condiments, kitchen accessories, and gift items, making it a fun place to shop. Friendly staff, high-quality products, and a relaxing shopping experience -- this place is a local gem that we'll continue to visit every year!

THIS IS MY FOOD WONDERLAND…read more My first time coming across a concept like this where there's ready-made food, cafe, pantry goods, catering options, and more. This is the second time I've been to The Kitchen and I don't even live in South Carolina. I bought around $200 worth of delicious pulled pork baked potatoes, toad pizza, pasta sauce, lasagna, oatmeal crème cookie, peanut butter pie, chicken spaghetti squash, wraps, salads, sides, meatloaf, and more! This is the perfect solution to not wanting to cook but still getting a delicious hot meal ready for the whole family. They have everything in their fridges and freezers, the only issue is trying to keep it all in-stock all the time because the food is just flying off the shelves. Prices may seem steep at first but one "full" container is easily a meal for two people and at around $20, that's a typical price. The convenience, quality, quantity, and variety of items prevails over the cost. I've tried a good number of items and everything has been delicious. Not salty, not too sweet, not heavy or greasy...just perfectly homemade and well-balanced. The cooking instructions are all exactly on point as well. The Kitchen is what every city needs, well-priced, nutritious food that is ready to grab and go. Everyone working inside is very nice, all items are clearly displayed, signs are easy to read, enough space that it doesn't get crowded everywhere. Don't leave without picking up an oatmeal crème pie.
