Lots of unique items for sale here, not just various salts. Wooden coasters and bowls, Byrd Cookies, syrups, jams, and so much more. I like how they had the door open during a hot day; so inviting. Staff behind the counter was friendly.

This place was so fun to explore! The woman working there was so informative and helpful in fulfilling our seasoning needs. We ended up with a great collection of salts, seasonings, and even some loose leaf tea. So excited to get these home and start cooking!

Some goodies : Blueberry Lemon Thyme Jam and Peach Cobbler Jam .. And of course some Peach Cobbler Syrup !!

My husband and I were in town for an event and wanted to walk around town .. The first store we went into was The Salt Table !!! It's the cutest store !!! You'll for sure find many goodies to bring home !! The owner was there and was very sweet and inviting!!! A must go to !!! May go back before I leave town to get more goodies for family back home !!!

Fine spice shop with tons to chose from and everything available for tasting. They have little cups in which you can sprinkle some of the spices into- much more hygienic then some other places I've found with just large open containers. The staff is friendly and available for information. The premise of the business has an adorable story (a couple who had a restaurant, decided on valentine's day to explore a new business.) Also they carry a variety of infused sugars, barbecue and rib rubs, dip mixes, herbed oils, teas, popcorn and wine. It's a fun place to just peruse. I especially like the Himalayan salt tablets that could be used for serving sushi or salting dishes. Very interesting and very pretty. Make sure you get a small container of Himalayan salt to go- for your purse for only a dollar.

I walked in with the only the intention of browsing but I ended up purchasing lots of teas and the ghost pepper salt.

And suddenly I am refinancing my future and walking out with a bag so heavy it should have come with a luggage tag. Let's talk about the damage. Freshly made pralines are unreal. Glazed pecans are dangerous. Cinnamon coated pecans are criminally addictive. Milk chocolate covered Oreos and white chocolate pretzels? I may have blacked out while purchasing them, but I regret nothing. Everything here is made with love, care, and a clear intention to go straight to your waistline. But it is fine. My wife assures me there are no calories outside of our home zip code, and since we are in Savannah, we will just walk it off. River Street counts as exercise anyway, right? The staff is friendly, the candy is absurdly good, and the smell alone should be classified as a tourist trap. If you find yourself in Savannah, absolutely stop in, but beware the free samples. They are delicious, deceptive, and the gateway to some very sweet financial decisions. Consider yourself warned and highly encouraged.

However, getting down there required finding the elevator to drop you down. The. The sidewalk is quite unfriendly to a wheelchair user. Upon making all that effort, there was no way to get in. There is granite steps up into the shop. So I never went in. We found a satellite store they have elsewhere. Bummer.

It was also really interesting how you didn't have one singular server, but instead, they all rotated and checked on you continuously. It was not traditional, but it worked very well. Maybe other restaurants should take note lol! Food was so incredibly fresh, pasta was hot. It was amazing. The only negative about the food is that they don't make their bread or desserts. It was shipped in from a central factory (and you could tell compared to how fresh everything else was). I also wish they had a fountain beverage station. Every drink you'd need to get was in a bottle in a big coke cooler. This place is definitely very small (I think they would benefit from making their shelving areas where they sell their pasta, smaller, and putting in more tables instead). You could also tell there wasn't enough room in the back for the employees because I was waiting in line for the restroom and had to move multiple times because the servers come in and out of there. There's only one little tiny restroom in the back corner. It was also really cool how you could see everything being made in the back. There was a whole factory behind a glass window where they were making the pasta fresh. It was amazing!! The building needs a facelift but everything else was AMAZING!!
