Not only did he pay for 6 of my sessions, my boyfriend is confident with Tony's work that he doesn't accompany to my appointments if he's tired from work. Tony is very easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable. My visits are in, zap and out. Easy peasy! Tony is trustworthy and is very professional. I live in town and the travel to Haleiwa for my appointments are worth it. I usually set my appointments on the morning and stop by the famous bakery in Wailua before heading home. Ok yelp, I'd add my before and after photos but...... I might get banned for showing off my Brazilian treatment...... and I'm sure my boyfriend wouldn't appreciate me sharing those photos either. The comfortable spa table is prepped with a little steamer to get your face ready for treatment. The HydraFacial machine was explained to me. She also stated that if the process felt uncomfortable, I could alert her to adjust the pressure. The procedure helped to clean, exfoliate, and remove impurities from my skin. She then applied a serum of antioxidants, peptides, and hyaluronic acid. The final application was sunscreen. While the untrained eye, probably couldn't SEE a difference after the HydraFacial, I could certainly FEEL the difference. Clean, fresh, and super rejuvenated! As a follow up, I came in for the Scultural Face Lift with Buccal Massage. This included lymphatic drainage (behind your ears) and microcirculation of my shoulders, neck, and jaw area. If you've never had a massage inside your mouth, try it! This helps to relax jaw muscles and many TMJ patients use this. Honey, you are worth it! Whether a special occasion or just because. Going into my first appointment, I was honestly nervous. I've been rejected before by medical providers because my insurance didn't cover GLP-1 services, so I was bracing myself for that again. At Ohana MedSpa, I didn't have that problem. I joined during their $199 first month discount promotion and was cleared to start right away on 0.25 weekly injections along with a B12 vitamin injection. During my first visit, I was weighed using a comprehensive scale that measures body fat, muscle mass, and other key metrics. Within about 45 minutes, I had completed the intake, review, and received my first injection. The appointment was thorough but efficient. My follow-up appointment was just as smooth. The team took time to walk me though how to self-inject, answered all my questions, and sent me home with the remaining month's injections since I already have a scale at home. At each visit, they track progress and side effects through their app, which makes the whole process feel very intentional and well monitored (during my first week I experienced some nausea and fatigue, and week two was mostly fatigue but they were clear that everyone's experience is different). I reached out myself, only to discover they hadn't followed up. Tuesday: After multiple calls, I personally contacted my previous doctor to resend the records. Despite receiving confirmation that the fax went through, Central Health claimed they never received it--requiring yet more follow-ups from me. Wednesday: After finally receiving the records, I underwent a detailed telehealth consultation. I was promised everything would be resolved, yet no updates were provided. Each follow-up required re-explaining my entire situation, wasting significant time. Thursday: Despite assurances, only one script made it to the pharmacy. After endless back-and-forth, I was told to record a video of my prescription bottles--a baffling request for a medical office. Still, nothing was resolved. Friday: Out of medication, I was finally instructed to pick up paper scripts. With my children arriving that day and after a full week of frustration, I couldn't make the trip. I remain without a critical prescription days later. Conclusion: This has been the worst introduction to a doctor's office I've ever experienced. While their front desk staff is polite, the lack of communication, follow-through, and accountability was staggering. I have yet to meet the doctor, despite being a patient for over a week. I hope these issues stem from growing pains rather than a systemic lack of organization. For now, I'm exhausted and unimpressed.k
