We fell absolutely in love with the decor throughout the entire venue which reflects the colours of Scotland perfectly and especially the Garden Room which provided a cosy 'at home' feeling - the ideal setting for our afternoon tea.
Once we got comfortable, our server wheeled over the 'tea trolley', which we couldn't have been more impressed with! The trolley was filled with a variety of plants, loose-leaf teas (supplied by Eteaket) and citrus, which we were given the opportunity to smell at our own leisure and decide which pot we would each try first.
Scott opted for the pineapple weed tea leaf, which was cut straight from one of the plants, whilst Lisa opted for the 'blooming marvellous' loose leaf tea. Watching our server infuse our tea right infant of us added a bit of theatre, as it was something we had never seen before and became the main talking point throughout our dining experience!
Shortly after taking our first sips, our food arrived. Everything looked so tempting and almost too perfect to eat. Every item and food pairing had been given so much thought and attention to detail, it was faultless. Likewise was the service, and nothing short of what we would expect from The Kitchen Group!
We can't wait to return so that we can enjoy a meal in the stunning dining room or perhaps a delicious winter warmer in their outdoor winter beer garden! read more
