This bookstore has great variety between old and new books. They have such a good selection of books. They had the whole series that I was looking for. The owner checked us out. She was so nice and let me get two bookmarks for free because I bought so many books! The books that are not second hand are a little more expensive, but that's understandable. Lucked out on a rare Saturday off by finding a gem of a bookstore in Tomball, TX. The owner named Cyndi, was super nice and attentive and even offered me a piece of chewing gum when she heard me clearing my throat while exploring her wonderful selection up and down the aisle. She said chewing gum normally helps her when she has a tickle in her throat; now that's what I call customer service and Cyndi seems to go above and beyond by how neat and organized her shop is and how kind she is towards everyone that walked in while we were there. If you are not near this splendid shop, do yourself a favor and hoo into the car and head over to browse the great selection from an honest-to-goodness small independent business. You'll find something good for yourself and your family and above all, you'll receive superb first-class service and attention from Cyndi in her lovely, cozy and inviting little book store. It doesn't look like this picture from the outside. It's in a strip center. But inside It's spilling over with a huge variety of books. Including some interesting older books. A fun place for bookworms to browse. read more

When I came into this book store I was very surprised to see how big it actually was. I had an assignment for one of my classes but then started to wander off and saw how many books they actually had. The best book store I've been to yet!!! They have a HUGE selection of books. The owner Cyndi was super nice, very helpful, and very patient with me while helping me find a book that interested me! Super good prices on books! I spent almost 2.5 hrs in there, felt right at home. For a total of 2 books I only spent ONLY $1 I'm definitely coming back very very soon! read more

We were looking for a good second hand bookstore and wanted to give this place a go. I must say, the selection is incredible! The organization could be just a little better though. It's a little overwhelming because it is such a small space. But, overall it was a positive experience and I did find me some books to read. I was moving states and went to go sell my books. I was kinda scared he was going to give a bad price for all those books. Well he did I gave him a whole bunch of good books like Dog Man, Percy Jackson, Magnus chase, all these good books. He gave me 60 bucks for all of it... The dog man series which i gave him would've been more then sixty bucks. I regret going here I should've donated the books instead. That was such a bad price for all of those books. Don't come here if your trying to sell books. Also the whole atmosphere was kinda creepy it smelled weird. read more

Great books store with lots of charm and a big variety of books. We were not looking for anything specific, but before moving to the area I had researched bookstores and libraries. I was specifically looking for family owned local stores. The Book Attic was one of the firsts to come out on the search. Imagine my surprise when we drive pass it as we were leaving Main Street. We had to stop. I really felt like I was in another world while in there. The smell, the atmosphere... amazing! The person in the front desk was kind enough to let us browse around. Reading other reviews, it looks like we can trade-in books for a store credit. Outstanding! Can't wait to visit again. read more

Took my Dad to dinner at Changs Gourmet next door as this is his favorite local Chinese food restaurant. Afterwords he always goes next door to The Book Attic to peruse their Trades for WWII and other historical books and novels. This time I went with him. We were greeted at the door with a smile and welcomed to the shop, allowed to browse the selections. My Dad made small talk with the woman behind the counter, she actually remembered him from his last visit (almost a month ago!) and they talked books. I wandered back to the Sci-Fi / Fantasy section as thats where my reading interests live. They have a great selection of newer used and older out of print books and I picked up a couple of promising reads. They have a small lounge area and small coffee/beverage counter up front, it looks like you can sit and read as well as share your book with other bibliophiles. I'm actually looking forward to coming back and checking out the rest of their selection. read more

1. The parking wasn't accommodating. Only three parking spaces and one was reserved for the disabled. 2. The business was a former lived in house. Some parts of the house had ridiculously low vault ceilings. Not ideal for people 6 feet or taller. 3. The price point was horrible. One book was clearly marked at $2 and the owner said that was wrong and took off the sticker. Wanted me to pay double. One book I found (original price was 95 cents) they wanted $6 for. Wow! I visited The Book Attic yesterday for the first time. It is my kind of book store. The owner's grandson greeted me as I came in the door and asked me if he could help me. He then walked me to the appropriate section and directed me where to look. Unfortunately I was in a bit of a hurry, but plan to go back and spend a leisurely hour or two browsing their shelves.
