I had been thinking of adding a furry addition to my family for several months and had been doing…read moreresearch on breeds for just as long. When I finally decided on a Pomeranian fur baby I scoured the Internet and I found Shannon from Tinypawsandclaws.com. She had an adorable collection of fur babies specializing in Pomeranians, chihuahuas, and yorkies. After looking over her website I got in touch with her via text. She responded promptly, informed me of her available pom pups, sent pics and little character descriptions all doing so in a friendly and open manner. She also inquired as to the kind of home setting her babies might be going into, which lets me know she truly cares for her puppies. Throughout the purchasing process she was professional and friendly, open to any questions, and educated me on the care of my new pom baby. I was also able to meet each puppy I was interested in in person so I could get a feel for them. When I finally picked my puppy up she gave me a goody bag with some of Miyu's, my pom, food, a supplement to prevent/treat hypoglycemia, 2 free ribbons, her shot papers, parents AKC/CKC papers, blanket, a toy, and told me when to expect the my registration papers. I still stay in touch with her for any care questions and to keep her updated on little Miyu's progress. I know have Miyu settled at home and we both could not be any happier! Thank you Tiny Paws and Claws!!!

Shannon Ensminger is an unethical, dishonest breeder running a PuppyMill. She used to run the…read morecompany CandyLand Pomeranians. She practices inbreeding and keeps the dogs in uninhabitable conditions some at her home, and many at an unattended desolate farm. She is a nurse and euthanizes the dogs in an inhumane manner if they aren't making her money. I purchased a dog from her and my dog had 2 congenital birth defects, and suffered for years. She doesn't care at all about the dogs. Her business has been reported to ASPCA as well as the Better Business Bureau. Stop buying animals from her, so that she stops breeding and torturing animals.

Honest Experience…read more Unfortunately, our experience with Petland was extremely frustrating, especially considering how much we trusted them when we purchased Blossom. We purchased Blossom with a health guarantee, and shortly after bringing her home, we discovered that she was deaf. Our veterinarian also expressed concerns that she was hearing impaired. Instead of working with us to resolve the issue, Petland fought us on it for nearly a month and repeatedly told us that we needed to pay approximately $2,000 for additional testing to determine how much hearing she had, if any, even though our veterinarian was already telling us she was hearing impaired. After a long back-and-forth, Petland eventually offered us a puppy credit for the full amount we originally paid for Blossom. While we initially thought this was a fair resolution, there is another major issue: the credit doesn't actually allow us to get another puppy, even if we choose the same breed. Now that we have the credit, we are being told that there aren't puppies available at the price point we originally paid for Blossom. The puppies currently available are roughly twice what we paid. So although we technically have a credit for the full purchase price, we would still have to come up with thousands of dollars more just to use that credit toward another puppy even one of the same breed. We never wanted this situation to happen. We love Blossom and simply expected the health guarantee we purchased with her to provide meaningful protection if a serious health issue was discovered. What has been most disappointing is feeling like we have had to fight every step of the way. First, we had to fight for Petland to acknowledge the hearing issue, and now we're left with a credit that doesn't realistically allow us to get another puppy. The way a company handles a problem after the sale is just as important as how they treat you when they're making the sale. Unfortunately, based on our experience with Blossom, we cannot recommend Petland.
