I take my dog here to be groomed and they always do a great job! I also love the dog cookies and pick up some each time I stop in. Additionally, it was recently my dog's "gotcha day" so I got him a Fluff and Tuff brand dog toy. They're a little on the expensive side, but these dog toys last and they're the only ones my two high energy dogs don't destroy. I had our dog, Leia, groomed here for the first time. My wife and I were very happy with the results. It was my first trip here. I felt totally comfortable leaving Leia here, the staff was great and very friendly. The have great selections of food, treats, toys and gifts...just about everything you need. Full service grooming and self wash options. Picked up a few Halloween cookies that we gave her over the course of a week. She loved them! It was a great experience all around. Being smaller dogs i wanted to have them bathed by a professional. a friend recommended this groomer she had used a few years ago, and to it must have gone down hill considerably since she was here. the owner was quite rude on the phone, but I still gave them a shot, and once there, the store is cute, but the customer service was seriously lacking. decided to use a different place. read more

We took our 6 month old Goldendoodle, Wilson here for the first time today and LOVED it! Super friendly and accommodating staff and they also have a REALLY adorable selection of items in the shop. Everything was so hard to resist! Could've easily spent tons $$$$$ on all of the cute things! I had a few concerns with leaving Wilson for the very first time to get a full groom/cut(normal dog mom guilt and I'm also extremely picky with how he looks) but once I picked him up and saw how beautiful he looked and how HAPPY he was, I totally fell in love with the place. Savannah did a really amazing job with him and he looks stunning. Wilson is a very wiggly/hyper puppy and I'm amazed that she was able to do such a neat job with him. All of the staff was super sweet to my baby and I can tell based on how happy he was, that he was treated very well during his time there! UPDATE: The Owner Rene contacted me and apologized for the bad grooming. She offered to give Zues a free grooming. I took him in 7/25/2017 and they totally redeemed themselves. My zues was beautiful when I picked him up. Thank you Rene for making it right for me. 6/29/2017.....I have been taking my dog Zeus here for grooming for maybe 6-8 months. Usually they do a great job but today not so much. I dont know where my regular groomer is but I was very disappointed. I said total shave and she shaved everywhere but his legs....so his legs are darker and hairy. The hair cut was very choppy and uneven. His nails are uneven and sharp like they were cut but not filed down to round them off. I wasn't offered scent spray and I had to ask for a bandana. WHERE IS LONDYN? Each time we've been here, we've been greeted and treated with friendly, excited, and exuberant folks, ready to answer questions, provide recommendations, or simply chat about how much we love our furry babies. Looking to switch from our previous groomers, we gave them a shot, and they certainly did not disappoint! We have two pomchi's, one significantly fluffier than the other, and we were so impressed how the groomer was able to make both of them look equally fluffy, and cleaned up their eye boogers. Very nice work! The self-service dog wash is kept very clean and is very well supplied. My Jack Russell / Chihuahua mixed breeds, Hope and Bella, have been to the daycare twice now and already are starting to make friends! Today, I was noticing their harnesses and collars seemed to be a bit tight. Rene measured and made many suggestions. As a result of her attentive care, the girls have new harnesses with reflexive threading, complete with a detachable safety seat belt loop! We also got them a dual-lead leash with a comfortable handle that's big enough to slip on my arm. Rene had already ordered some collars (clearly knows her stock!), so I prepaid for them and I'll pick those up when they're in. We found treats that even my picky eater likes! The girls always appear happy to see me, but not overly so - thus I know they're not missing me too much! That's a relief to me, especially since I would rather they have fun instead be stuck in a kennel all day! I definitely recommend this location for your pet. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this business! I've been taking my Shih Tzu here for over 4 years. I recently lost him, and ended up getting another Shih Tzu in February. The facility is extremely clean, the staff (especially London) is so friendly and welcoming every time you arrive to drop off or pick up your pooch, and I love their selection of natural dog food, treats, clothes, and the coolest/funkiest toys. I love how the groomer goes over the haircut with you before they begin (managing expectations), and explains what's going to be done. I never worry about my dog when I leave him with the groomers and staff at Gimmie A Bark. If you're looking for a new groomer, you should definitely give them a try!! read more

I took my Shitzu to this Grooming facility and she came back with a deep nick to her ear from what is probably a pair of grooming shears. Now I'm out $107 dollars for a Vet bill, and I had to buy an Elizabethan collar to the tune of $52, so I'm out a total of $159.00, and I didn't get my pet groomed. What is wrong with this picture? I called to complain, and the front desk employee tried to gaslight me by telling me that my pet probably just had "some kind of hematoma" or "had been bitten by another dog" before I brought her in. She said that the dog's ear just started gushing blood when the groomer lifted it up. Hello, what is wrong with this picture? (I understand that grooming accidents are going to occur, but this business establishment doesn't have to hire careless groomers and uncaring and dishonest front desk staff.) I am writing this review to let anyone smart enough to be reading it to seriously consider taking your pet somewhere else to be groomed. My dog received better treatment at the Petsmart groomers as chaotic and overbooked as those grooming establishments are. I plan to take my pet back to Pestmart in the future. read more

I go in to give me a bark because of the environment is friendly and the people are usually very helpful. They have good quality merchandise and things that you don't see in just your regular corporates type of pet stores. Today I went in and where there were four people at the counter one of them was very loudly during a dance routine or something and the other three were standing watching and laughing. I was in a hurry. But I had to wait for her to finish dancing before she would ring me up after I gave her my purchase. It's not that I begrudge someone their happiness, I do appreciate however being the person that they serve while at work rather than themselves. I wanted also to say, the 3 of 5 is for this one time there and I cannot tell you how irritated I am at this very moment just from having had that experience. I have a husky named Bears and he is always loaded with hair that needs to be blown out in the spring and again in the fall. As much work as he is, they have always done a great job giving him a bath, using the de shed shampoo and blowing out his fur. I always go back here because they are so welcoming and do amazing work in such a short time. It is about a 2 hour process for my dog, but I'm perfectly okay with that. Another groomer I use to take him to it took them 7 hours. I'm not sure how much of that time he was in a kennel and how much was him being groomed, but I certainly can appreciate the speed and efficiency at which Gimmie A Bark takes care of my boy! read more

I took my Australian Shepherd here today to be groomed. He is not a good client usually. I was so impressed with this place! The woman who took care of him today took the time to really talk about what I wanted and talk about what would be best for him. They offer express service for a small fee. This is what he needs as he gets nervous anywhere outside of our home. When I picked him up he looked amazing! They let me pick out a bandana for him. They said he did OK, but didn't like the blow dry. I'm so glad I found a place that takes such good care of my dog! I will be going back and I highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Totally different now! Been going here for years but had a terrible experience today. Dropped my dog off at 11AM appointment for a groom, called 2.5 hours later to check on her and they said she would be ready in an hour. So I showed up to get her an hour later, they were RUDE and said "we call you when they are ready" and I had to explain why I was there. My dog still wasn't ready - almost 4 hours. Aside of that they told me it would $68 and I only scheduled for a touch up maintenance groom. When I addressed that with the young lady, she was RUDE, again and just wanted to argue with me and actually called me names, it was incredible - she was purposely trying get under my skin. It's not about the money, it's the fact they were completely unprofessional! read more

I took my puppy to the socialization behind the shop for the first time about 10 weeks ago and shopped first. From the first time I entered, they treated me like a valuable customer, were helpful and friendly. I have adopted a second dog and had reason to use their self serve dog wash station. The owner? Helped me even though she had a lunch engagement, my dog is big and fluffy and was filthy. I love everything about this shop. The staff is wonderful, they have a wide range of healthy treats, collars, dog foods (and cats) and offer services from grooming to doggie day care.
