We ate here last night and had Lauren D as our server, she was phenomenal. I got the grilled chicken breast, It's always consistent and delicious. I had some clear soup (which is usually good, but it was terrible lastnight). We ordered a couple different kinds of sushi. One being the Ed Hoover roll, It's always a hit! I ordered a margarita (which they are normally good) and it was terrible. Food was as expected really good. Had many people say we had to try it and I'm glad we did,took a little bit to get the food but I think they might've been a little under staffed. Totally worth the wait and the waitress Macey *I think that's how it's spelled* was very nice and had our order correct. We were seated and had a 30 minute wait to even order drinks. Drinks took forever to get to table. Food took forever to order then the potato was half raw and the served said they forgot to put them in so that's why. Place wasn't packed either, but the servers were more interested in playing with their hair and dancing in the kitchen and texting while customers sat waiting forever for the servers to even come take their order. Sushi came out wrong. Overall the food and everything was awful. Place has definitely went down with all the young kids serving and cooking. Save your money and go somewhere else. The service was fast and everyone was really nice. The food was delicious with large portion sizes. We had plenty of food to bring home for later. There were four of us in our group (2 being young adult athletes) we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, 4 side salads, 2 entres of pasta, the Boston Roll, the spicy crunchy roll and the Boston burger. Random stop. My daughter and I just went for a drive to find a dinner spot. Many miles later, I arrived here. Immediately greeted and seated (in the middle aisle of tables, do not recommend), our server was training Brody that night. Both servers more than made up for the wonky seating. Fabulously friendly and engaging employees. My daughter was on cloud 9. We ordered sushi . (we miss all our favorite sushi places in Seattle) Our orders came with miso soups. Surprisingly, for a dinky town in Southern Louisiana, we both enjoyed the rolls. Reasonably priced for size and quality. We learned they are the sibling restaurant to Cate Street in Hammond. I have always loved The Boston but this visit made me not want to go back. My favorite thing is the fried pork chops which have always been amazing but this time they were fatty and tough. I did not eat them. My husband had the care street pasta and it had basically no seafood. The service was horrible the waitress needs to find a new line of work. They sat us in the back room area that you have to walk outside to get to, that didn't bother me, but the fact that the back area has no ambience and is completely boring and plain not to mention the chairs are uncomfortable to sit on. Went last night for a second time while in area. Drinks were good, great atmosphere and sushi was awesome. I did get the Who Dat Pasta like the last time I was there because it was so good. This time though, whoever made the sauce must have spelled the whole bottle of cayenne in it. Could not even taste the food cause it was so spicy. Now, I can eat some spicy food but this was way past a level 5 Indian Curry! I just boxed it up and took it home and trashed it. Will never order that again and just stick to sushi. Great place to eat though and you don't feel rushed. Make reservations ahead of time. Would give it a 5 star, but the pasta dish brought in down to a 4. read more

The atmosphere is always amazing! We drive 50 mins just come here every other month! My husband always gets the ribeye, it's sooo good too! Took my boyfriend here with family the first time he came to Louisiana and he LOVED it, he even ordered an entire crawfish cheese dip to take home after! We heard about this place from family, so we were heading back to Florida and decided to stop in for lunch. First, the sweet tea was very good with the right amount of sugar, not overly sweetened. For an appetizer, we had the crab cakes. Nice size with good amount of lump crab meat. The remoulade was great with just the right amount of kick to it. Crab cakes were very good. My wife ordered the fried catfish platter with rice and gravy. This thing was huge! Her place came with 8 filets. I had a piece of the catfish and it was tasty. She said the rice and gravy was very good. I ordered the blackened redfish with steamed rice and fried okra. The redfish was a whole filet and very delicious. It was topped with some type of crawfish cheese sauce which worked well with the fish and the steamed rice. The fried okra was okay, but with everything else, I was not worried about eating it all. The menu is very extensive and I'm always apprehensive with restaurants with a huge menu, but this place was above my expectations. The service was excellent and our table was always cleared when a dish was empty and drinks were always filled. We will definitely be stopping here more often when we come up and visit family! I was very dissatisfied and I said I just would never go back because for the money that we pay for what we got it should've been better than that. We went the other night and we were hoping for another good experience. The Boston is usually our go to place for date night. They were off their game this trip. They have a limited menu right now due to renovations. We ordered a sushi roll for an appetizer and it was good as usual. We placed our orders for choo choo chicken and the top sirloin. It took 1hr and 25 minutes from time ordered to get our meals. The manager came by about an hour in to apologize. The chicken was great but the sirloin was dry and way overcooked. A late Valentine's Day Lunch on February 15, 2024. Our House Salads were ok - no Homemade Dressings. Our food came out about 4 minutes after our salads were served. My Eggplant Parmesan was pretty good. I don't think my boyfriend cared that much for his Chicken Parmesan, that was made with Chicken Tenders and he said it tasted like it had some soy sauce on the chicken We didn't get anything with Seafood because the Shrimp and Crawfish are Imported from China and that is uncalled for in South Louisiana. A lot of Food, and a nice truthful, waitress. But, I don't think we will make another trip here. There are too many other good places to go eat at around this area. Wow!! Definitely worth the drive. The Boston has a unique menu that is a must try. From steaks and seafood all the way to sushi and stir fry. We started out with the fried green tomatoes - the sauce on top was amazing. It had you going back for me. We had two additional non-traditional apps - the Ed Hoover roll and the sashimi special. The Ed Hoover roll is great. It was extremely fresh and a perfect sized roll to share. The sashimi was fresh, the fish was tasteful and this is a good size sashimi sampler. The service was quick - we went during the peak time with a 45 minute wait. Highly recommend calling early during the week to make reservations as they only accept so many for the weekend. The Boston stays busy. We left around 10 or so and folks were still piling in to eat. The Boston has a very laid back feel to it but is certainly the place for date night! We have a severe gluten allergy and decided to eat here. In the past they were accommodating, but the service was terrible this visit. We asked the hostess for a gluten free menu, she said we have one but I don't know where it is, ask your server. The server then informed us that they had one floating around but he probably wouldn't be able to find it. Returned roughly a minute later to tell me that he couldn't find it. I informed him we would be unable to eat without knowing what was allergy friendly, he said no problem have a good day don't worry about the drinks and walked off.
