This Tarzana location was actually really nice too - it's located along Ventura Blvd (closest cross street is Wilbur Ave.) right after McDonalds and next to Dominos Pizza and right across Lady C's Cafe. The closest fwy for those travelling from another city is Tampa ave. exit. The venue is really pretty, very well maintain, very clean and very aesthetic design and has its own restroom inside. The size of the venue is perfect for intimate parties with a group of 50-60. There was space for buffet table, bar for the drinks, Sushi bar, Photo Booth and DJ booth and a decent dance floor size was setup and it didn't feel like crowded at all. The balloons, table setting, decors etc was also done by great event (separate fee applies on top of the venue rental). I highly recommend this event place if you are planning on your next initimate party! You will love the place, and if you decide to also hire them for organizing and decorating the venue you will surely love it. The owners are very proffesional and really nice. There's also a lot of parking spaces as well as on the side street - from my own personal experience, we didn't have a hard time finding a parking spot and the part was on a Saturday night.

There's a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator, and handicapped accessible bathroom. Hardwood floors give this space an elegant look, it feels open, bright, and clean. Deena was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. She helped me secure the space with only a few weeks notice. She offered many options for configuring the space to meet our needs. Our guests commented on how nice they thought the space was. I'm very happy I found Great Event Studio and Deena when I did. I would happily use her services for any future events I need to host. I highly recommend giving them a chance to make your events go smoothly.

Centerpieces, runners and the arches are already provided with the venue. Chafers, serving utensils, a fridge to keep drinks/food cool and 3 coolers also come with your venue rental. I took advantage of their dessert cart and I love that cake stands and acrylic stands were all available for use so all I had to do was arrange my desserts. Cake cutting utensils were also provided. The owner, Pam, was super nice and very accommodating. She definitely goes above and beyond to help you have a beautiful and stress free event! Also was easy to get ahold of, easy to communicate with. Venue also comes with a free and large parking lot in the back. Air conditioning was perfect especially here in the Valley, where it can get quite hot! Overall, I cannot recommend this venue enough. A lot of our guests complimented the beautiful space. We will definitely be back for future events!

I would 100% recommend this place for anyone planning a party or special event!

This time was at the relaxing back patio upstairs. They have a big menu with a lot of good items. We decided on vodka pasta, charred octopus and beet salad as appetizers. For mains we had chef's special prime rib and whole branzino, also truffle fries as side. For desserts we had tiramisu and sorbet. They make very good Vesper martinis here, the mocktail I tried wasn't great though. The service was excellent and very fast. Keep in mind that the food is more of Middle East Mediterranean flavor than Mediterranean European flavor. This place has become our go-to restaurant whenever we are in this area!

Coming first time…read morehere, you have the option of picking your poison on a hot summer afternoon either go deaf sitting inside with human jackhammers packed and loud AF, or swelter in the patio. Opted for the latter to celebrate my sister's birthday. They had some giant fans but they weren't doing much help. We put some drinks in and got 2 ridiculously expensive tiny hamachi crudo plates. Then all of a sudden the fans stopped working. Our waiter informed us that there was no power in the entire restaurant inside or out. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldnt places like these have back-up generators just in case? Shortly thereafter he came and told us LADWP would arrive in 1 hour which literally means 2 to 3 hours minimum so instead of having our dinner for breakfast we asked to close out our bill (which should have been comped but they did not even deduct anything for the tremendous inconvenience), after just two plates of Hamachi Crudo and four drinks. The bill was presented to me and I figured there's no way all of this costs $240 I said I want to see an itemized receipt they came back with a $160 bill so more shady shit thrown to the shade. Very grudgingly paid but just wanted to get the fuck out of there we went to Il Fornaio nearby and had a lovely meal and service, to salvage my poor sister's birthday. Needless to say but I will, the easiest one and done in my life and I've had quite a bit if you read my reviews. Inexcusable ridiculousness and zero compensation. It was complete chaos as people were canceling left and right and more people were flooding in as the reservations backed up I hope God helped them through the night. It's one thing to lose power unfortunate yes, but to not have a backup generator and then not even take care/compensate your customers is an abysmal excuse for management and a restaurant.

I finally had a chance to visit for a Tarzana Music Night last week. What a fun event! Because the weather was being forecasted to be cool with the potential of rain, the event was held indoors. Things were comfortable, but we were in close quarters with the other attendees. The sound was great and the performances were a lot of fun. I was primarily there to see a good friend perform, but I also had the chance to see some other talented musicians. I think each one was a singer songwriter, and I enjoyed each performance. Each one of the people that was working at the venue, which I imagine may have been on a volunteer basis, was friendly and a lot of fun. Normally the music nights are held outdoors, and I can imagine that most of the year, it is a lot of fun being in the open air.

They have a small outdoor stage with string lights hanging beautifully all around, a few picnic tables and fold out chairs for when there's an event to watch. When the chairs aren't there I imagine thats what they use for the outdoor dance floor under the stars, too! A few people brought their dogs on leash. I saw a few people brought in their own food, chilled out and ate while they watched the live band. They do have a very small amount of drinks, chips, and cookies for sale at a stand but thats it so if you don't want junk food def bring what you do want. They do have an indoor bathroom. PARKING - Def uber/LYFT to them. There are only a few spots in the back you can get to from the side street (not from Ventura blvd) and thats it! So do yourself a favor and get a ride. Lyft must know about this place because the driver knew exactly where to meet us in the back when we booked our return. For us it was a calm but fun summer evening hang outside! I don't know what its like without a band playing but hope I get a chance to check that out too.
