While unloading decorations, we were approached by a homeless individual who was shouting nearby, which was a little unsettling. Parking was also somewhat limited, and I found myself worrying about our guests. Having worked in Northridge about 10 years ago, I remember it feeling much different than it does today. That said, this isn't a reflection on Teena or Athena Event Studio. She was an outstanding host, and the venue exceeded my expectations. The balloons, table setting, decors etc was also done by great event (separate fee applies on top of the venue rental). Many times the monthly calendar is posted late (many don't even know where to go to access the calendar). If there is a special event not listed on the calendar members and non members never get directly notified. The post has a massive email mailing list of folks so why not just send out a copy of the monthly calendar, along with event updates to everyone? One click does it all. The turnout would be a lot better, and the bar would get additional revenue from those who drink too. If they did that they would get five stars!!!!
