The two staff at the counter greeted me as I walked in... the apparel had been nicely organized and merchandised like REI can! This is one of the stories that does carry more north face then other academy's I have been too! That's probably the only upside to it! We have also found more ammunition here then any other academy. The shoes are super unorganized!!! I needed to find one pair and it took me a while but I found it!!!! It's a good store just to go in and out to expect much out of the place.

The right stuff the right price- Academy!! This sporting…read moregoods store is a nice place to go pick up some gear. They've got stuff for every sport I could think of. Their kayak selection is impressive! You could outfit a militia with all the shotguns and rifles that they sell here. They sell enough camping gear to go off the grid for the rest of your life. They've got a great selection of sneakers and athletic wear as well. The place was picked up, and clean. Several clerks asked if I needed help finding anything, which is nice that they're there ready to help. This is the place to go for your UTSA gear- they've got a lot of it, from koozies, to t-shirts. GO ROADRUNNERS! They also have the best selection of Spurs gear outside of the AT&T Center, with much cheaper prices too. They didn't sell any Texas A&M San Antonio, or SMU gear. They have a full gym area where you can go try out the stair step machines, and the elliptical trainers. Perhaps if you're too cheap for a gym membership, you could just hang out here... The cashier seemed to be enjoying his job, and joked with the customers. Parking is easy, there's a large private lot here. Overall, a positive experience!

The reps looked hung over or half awake and I will come back to this store Ill think twice before coming to any academy.
