I think we ordered wrong. It's a steakhouse so maybe we should have ordered steak because the 2 pasta dishes we ordered needed improvements. The alfredo pasta had no flavor and the sauce was super thick. The bolognese pasta dish had great flavor but the noodles were dry. The meat sauce was very thick and had no moisture except the grease from the meat at the bottom of the bowl. The bread that comes with it is like a thick artisan cracker. So no filling up on bread. I left 3/4 of the alfredo dish. The service however was 5 stars. Our server was super attentive. The decor, also 5 stars. Super cute inside. Nice location with plenty of parking. For the amount we paid for this meal, it was very disappointing.

A friend recommended this place, but I found it pretty disappointing. The interior screams old west saloon, but the menu is definitely Italian steakhouse. The price is fairly high and the food just did not match it. I had the chicken marsala, and to my taste the mashed potatoes tasted like a box mix, the chicken was not very seasoned, and both were drenched in enough sauce to make it all taste like mushrooms. Service was very fast and attentive, but I felt they were a little pushy when they discussed drink options, and later when thry brought by plates of dessert to ask if we wanted to order any.

Now I believe this place is called Big E Spaghetti Western. Walked in after a long day at the Grand Canyon and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I got the Pappardelle Elk Ragú and it was absolutely delicious and the noodles are made in house. 10/10 food, customer service and decor. Our server Jaime was great!

Unfortunately had a pretty underwhelming experience. Service was slower than usual, with about 30 minutes from ordering to when our food arrived, which felt long considering what we ordered. Got the Big E Burger which lacked seasoning, and the toppings didn't help much either - the lettuce and tomatoes were soggy, which made the overall texture pretty unappealing. The pickle wasn't crunchy and the fries were another miss, coming out neither crispy nor salty.

Located on State route 64 / US route 180 near McDonald's with plenty of parking and close to the Grand Canyon's South Rim. We were staying in Tusayan and wanted a steak for dinner so this place caught our attention as it was walking distance from our hotel. Since we had our dog with us, we called in a takeout order (although they have benches out front). We ordered their '8 oz Sirloin Steak' and the 'Big E Burger'. The steak was tender and perfectly seasoned served with carrots and a baked potato. The burger was made with 1/2 lb Angus beef patty, tasted so good, and served with steak fries. Everything was fresh and delicious, such satisfying dinner choices for sure. Shout out to 'Juan Carlos' who was super friendly and welcoming as we picked up our food. The restaurant is big and spacious with a cool western vibe, full bar, and lounge area. The restrooms were very clean during our visit. I will definitely return and enjoy more of their menu when in town.

Came for an earlyish dinner after visiting the Grand Canyon on a Tues. Very steakhouse vibe on the interior. Was seated quickly but placed at an outdoor covered patio. Server was very friendly and attentive. Ordered the Kids Mac & Cheese, Ribeye, and Chicken Fettucine Alfredo. Alfredo sauce was very gritty and did not have much flavor. Mac & cheese had a decent flavor, fries were cooked well. The Ribeye was cooked to order (medium rare) but butter didn't have much infused flavor and carrots did not have any glaze. For how much they charge for the Ribeye I was disappointed overall.

I was a little worried after reading a few negative reviews but my experience was fantastic! Extremely friendly staff, clean establishment and the food was good for the price. I ordered the ribeye and was not disappointed.

Don't sleep on this place! We had a great experience at Big E Steakhouse & Saloon near the Grand Canyon. I'm honestly surprised by some of the previous negative reviews--ours was nothing like that. Javier was our server, and he was incredibly attentive and friendly throughout our meal. I ordered the Baseball Top Sirloin (cooked perfectly!), my husband had the Steak Medallions, and our child chose the Chicken Strips. Every dish was flavorful, cooked just right, and arrived hot and on time. Yes, it's a little pricey--but that's expected for the location, and the quality of the food and service made it well worth it. The restaurant itself was also very clean and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're in the area--don't let the old reviews steer you away!

Came in for dinner after a long day at the Grand Canyon. One big open space and was greeted by 2 hostesses. They all had a button up shirt and blue jeans for a uniform. They had a huge projector screen in the dining hall for I do not know what. The decor was a bit mixed western / hunter cabin feel. Lighting is dark with the antlers chandeliers. Spinach & Artichoke Dip: Not that good as the bread was dry and the dip was really dry and clumpy. Instead of chips they served this dish with buttered bread. It is gobut nothing to shout about. Potatoe Skins: Dry and old. Seems like it was prepped the day before. The cheese was not melted all the way as this came out warm and not hot. Ceaser Salad: This seems to be the only thing coming out right. Very small portion does not justify the $$ for this. 12oz Prime Rib: Dry and seems tough. Came out warm and not worth it. The onion rings were very dry and there were no onion in the rings at all. The mashed potatoes and gravy did not stick too well for me as it was not good at all. Strip Steak: My daughter says it was good but nothing to rave about. The macaroni and cheese was very watery. Button mushrooms was good she says. Braised Short Ribs: It was very good. Soft and tender and the meat would just fall off the bone. Mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables was done right. Kids Steak: Daughter says it's good along with her steak fries and a fruit cup. The fruit was actually fresh and not canned. Kids Canyon Pasta: My son says the pasta is laying on a bed of soup / sauce. The fries were good and the steamed vegetables were untouched as he says he was full. The audio is really bad. I suggest buying a Bose set or better speakers as it is really bad. Sounds like a small radio that came from the 80's. Bathroom is a bit dirty for the amount of people that are just standing around as the establishment was not even close to being half full. Parking lot is weird as one entrance that wraps around the building but dead end in the other side of the restaurant. Overall it is ok for the area as we were not expecting a 4-5 stars. I would not recommend this place again however, the steakhouse at the Grand Hotel (Canyon Star Steakhouse) is a bit better. Oh well, you pay for what you get.

Ribeye is not as good as New York at this place

Food around grand canyon generally sucks. Unlike some other national parks because the grand canyon national park is not overly large you do have the options of eating outside the park but they pretty much all suck. However what sets this place apart is the fact they open at 3pm which is way better than other places that close at 3pm because if you go hike in the park 3pm is the perfect time for a meal after hiking. The service is great and I don't know why they seat people at the bar area even when it's not too crowded yet but I think the service is always great. The food is alright especially after hiking but the steak can be much better. The meat is not as good as I would like (Costco has better cuts) but the price is not high so that balance it out. I'd prefer they offer some better cuts even if it's slightly more expensive.

Very high prices. $75 for a steak in an old playhouse/saloon is too much! Eat pizza hut instead!

It's pretty pricey, likely due to being in a tourist heavy area. It's connected to a dining hall and a lodge, which makes it a convenient stop if you're staying or exploring nearby. You walk in and order at the counter, and they bring the food out to you. We ordered the GCT Nachos ($19.49), along with a Prickly Pear Draftarita ($12) and a Yavapai Blonde ($8.99). The prickly pear drink was okay, but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. The nachos were good, and the portion size definitely made them worth sharing. Overall it's a neat little casual bar.

Basically an upscale fast food place and food just a tiny step above. Also weird upon delivery of food we got one fork, no napkins, no condiments. Set your expectations. $80 for a burger, tacos from the appetizer menu, 1 can of beer (no glass offered) and a glass of "large sized wine - which was a typical pour). Just know this isn't a fine dining it's a place when you're hungry after a big hike and anything will suffice. Next time I'd just go to the market, buy some beer a bottle of wine and make a charcuterie board.

We're usually picky about Italian food and rarely order it from a non Italian place, but we've been on the road and she was starving. From the first bite she was hooked. Bursting with flavor, certainly part pork and full of herbs. Clearly made in house. My son and I split a margarita pizza and it hit hard. Paper thin. For dinner we'd need one each, but for lunch splitting it was perfect. Great flavor top to bottom. The paper thin crust, the tangy sauce, and good quality cheese topped with a generous amount of fresh basil. Bonus for the red hot sauce (green tasted artificial) which I grabbed a spoon to taste with as soon as we sat down, I love hot sauce. And for the classic rock playlist. Highly recommend for a quick meal.

It was not my idea to come here my sweet niece was the one who wanted steak and well who am I to tell her no?! We walked into the steakhouse side only to stand there another couple walked in and we were all quickly ushered out by a host, to go sit in the bar area... the host then tried to seat the couple who came in after first which wouldn't have been a huge deal if I didn't have a kid who was starving. Thankfully the other party told him we had been waiting. We were sat at a high top in the bar, and waited.. the bar tender came around and let us know she'd be our waitress, the main waitress was very busy. There was also a man who worked there that kept walking by looking at us. Not sure if we weren't fancy enough or he thought we were going to eat and run or what.. to be fair we were in jeans and a sweatshirt and had just come from the canyon.. I will say the reason we stayed (besides being hungry) was our waitress. She made us feel welcome, and despite being busy checked in regularly. I asked about the filet she said it was truly really good... and my niece got the steak tips. We both enjoyed the dinner... the filet was tender, cooked to a perfect medium... could have used a little more seasoning but still good. The baked potatoes had everything to stuff it with on the side... and the asparagus was delicious and cooked perfectly. Do I think it was 56 good mehhhh but it was still tasty. I had to taste the steak bites and that was delicious too! Fries however were over cooked. Like I said, the bar tender/ waitress came back and checked on us several times - she was great which is why this is a 4 star review not a 3 star.
