The menu has the usual pub fare - wings, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. But on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-1, the menu expands to things like omelets, hash, Benedicts and breakfast sandwiches. So, when our Friday night hotel bartender recommended Lucky's for breakfast, well, we knew where we'd be headed. The breakfast service we encountered on Saturday was extraordinary, so hats off to our server Beth. Our party of ten walked in when breakfast opened, and she quickly set up a few long tables for our group. Oh, and she set out two coloring activities and crayons for the two young guests in our group. Our breakfast started with complimentary bowls of popcorn and we saw some very interesting eye openers on the menu, like a Breakfast Punch (with Rum, orange and pineapple juice, strawberry purée, and ginger ale), a Lucky's Blueberry Pancake Shooter (with Stoli Blueberry vodka, Butterscotch, Orange Bacardi, and a slice of bacon) and a Keoki Coffee (with Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, coffee and whipped cream). We passed on these alcoholic temptations; Beth took our orders flawlessly and the food started rolling out of the kitchen in no time. We started off with a order of Beignets for the table ($9.99) - "Deep-fried beignets made with croissant dough, topped with powdered sugar & a side of strawberry jam. I tried one and it was very good -piping hot, light as a feather, but surprisingly not greasy. My wife ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelet ($13.99 served with her choice of toast and a side of fresh fruit, home fries or cheesy baked hash browns. It was a generous portion and the fruit cup she ordered was fresh and tasty. My Cajun Hash ($15.49 with Andouille disks, shredded chicken, two big shrimp, peppers, onions, cheesy hash, & scrambled eggs) was one of the best breakfasts I've had all year. It was a gigantic portion, and I was more than full with half of it. Beth was automatic with the coffee refills, was very sweet dealing with the two children in our party and gladly gave our couples separate checks. One very cool thing we saw was a "Treasure chest" full of children's toys, coloring books, and activities as freebies for the little darlings that visit. These weren't junky dollar store toys, but some nice stuff. We could not have been happier with our breakfast at Lucky's 13.

Lots to do considering where we would have to drive to get Billiards, Black Jack, Pull Tabs, Darts, and Sports on TV. I have never had a problem with service. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. It's a bar starting out so yeah they will have some wrinkles to work out, but I love it there and know many many others who do as well. Not "THE" place to watch your dumb BIG GAME. Go to BWW with all the other meat heads for that. The food is good, decent drink specials etc... Just try it for yourself! We'd never received bad service when she was there. On a recent visit, we watched at least 4 tables leave after not getting any service. I ordered a drink from the server. 25 minutes later, I went up to the bar to get it myself. She never brought me one. We ordered our food at the bar as our server never came back after finally bringing others drinks. She did come back after taking some friends initial orders and ask if everything was ok. She hadn't brought any drinks yet! It was some of the worst service I've ever received in 35 years. They made a HUGE mistake by firing Tori. We will not be back. Dave, get your head out of your ass and beg Tori to come back.

The energy of this place is absolutely palpable it possesses this rustic, high-spirited charm that is just so wonderfully exciting! The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most remarkably warm and friendly team. The young ladies hosting were simply precious, dressed in the most darling, traditional Americana attire that gave the entire venue such a cohesive, nostalgic aesthetic. I was also completely enchanted by the chic little bar area they've set up inside it adds the perfect touch of lively sophistication to the room. We perused the menu, and I simply had to try the Spicy Thai Ribs, paired with an order of their Chicken Wings. My assistant opted for a classic Diet Coke to accompany the feast. Our selections were whisked out to the table in a precise twenty minutes, and let me tell you, the culinary execution was a total triumph. The ribs were a masterful symphony of flavors perfectly smoked and fried pork ribs tossed in a vibrant, sweet-and-spicy Thai chili sauce, beautifully garnished with sesame seeds and fresh cilantro. It was pure bliss! For the wings, they allow you to choose your own dry rub, which was such a fun, bespoke little touch. Between the stellar hospitality, the fabulous atmosphere, and those sensational, flavor-forward ribs, I am completely smitten. A flawless five-star experience we shall absolutely be returning for another fabulous evening!

The burger selection is honestly impressive. With 50+ specialty burgers on the menu, there's something for everyone--from classic builds to bold creations piled high with unique toppings. The quality of the beef stands out: juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Even the buns hold up well against the towering stacks. Beyond burgers, they've got solid appetizers (the fried pickles and cheese curds are local favorites), good wings, and a wide beer selection featuring regional and national brews. Portion sizes are generous, so come hungry. Service is typically friendly and fast-paced, even when it's busy--which it often is. It's a popular spot for a reason. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and tons of variety. If you love creative burgers and a lively setting, Sickies Garage in Fargo delivers.

For an appetizer, I ordered the cheese curds, they were hot, but very average. Not bad, not great, just your standard bar-style curds. For my meal, I decided to try something different and went with the donut burger. Definitely an odd combo, but it was fun to try while in town. Flavor-wise, it was fine, unique, but not something I'd order again. The mac and cheese side, though, was a miss. Easily one of the weakest parts of the meal. I'm not sure why so many restaurants struggle with mac and cheese but still feel confident charging extra for it. On the bright side, the $5 happy hour drinks were great, generous pours and a solid bartender. Overall, this place is your average, run-of-the-mill sports bar. Nothing special, but not bad if you're just looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and a bite.
