The older Dr Thomas gets the more angrier he gets. He is losing is patience with the younger kids. My son had a panic attack before his last visit because the doctor told him he would kick his A** if he broke his wire again. I asked the doctor about his comment and he admitted he did say that. Every time I go to the brace place, I have nothing but a pleasant experience. I have had my braces on for more than a year and a half, and every time I get a readjustment the lady at the front desk is funny, and helpful with making a new appointment or answering some of my questions. The orthodontic assistants are always kind and quick. If you are planning on getting braces I definitely recommend going to the brace place! read more

Terrible!! Do not go here. My 18 year old daughter paid in full for her invisaline and only was seen 1 time by the doctor there. We then had to move back to Colorado for personal reasons. Before we left, they specifically told me and my daughter that they would give her the remainder of her invisaline trays. This never happened. After 7 calls to this office talking to various people, we were told that even though she paid in full that because we moved they could not honor there promise to giver her the trays that she PAID for!! I find this Ortho very very unprofessional and would not recommend. They are lairs and very fraudulent individuals. read more

We had a great experience at the Brace Place. Both Drs. Albert and Thomas were very professional and definitely experts in their field. We loved the use of new technology and products in their practice. All of their assistants were well trained and wonderful to work with. The orthodontists are wonderful, however their customer service is not. I have a few kids currently being treated at TBP. We have had 4 experiences when something has come lose the week after an appointment...either a wire, or a bracket. TBP is not accommodating in facilitating emergency appointments. Given their popularity they will only see you, in case of emergency, if there is a cancellation or a free appointment...meaning you could be waiting days to be seen. Another obstacle in the scheduling is that the doctors do not work on Fridays. Overall, the orthodontists are good, but if you're looking for care and customer service you might want to expand your horizons. read more

Dishonest dealing, Chipped tooth. Bottom line: Final Invisilign Tray doesn't fit right. Chipped tooth. Denial of responsibility. I went to The Brace Place for adult Invisilign, the total cost was between $5,200 and $5,400. I was treated primarily by Dr. Albert, which is good because the two times I did see the other doctor, Dr. Thomas, I ended having appt. issues which were minor but frustrating (I had to wait almost 2 hours to see him when I had a 10 min. appt.). Prior to my last two visits I would have given them 4 stars; however, when I went to my last "adjustment review" appointment it was noticed that immediately after removing the Invisilign tray that my front teeth spread a little (this is after 2+- years of wearing trays). The Dr. felt maybe the lower teeth were pushing against the back of the top teeth still. Though I still had one more adjustment via Invisilign left, which would have required one more set of trays from them at no charge to me, he proceeded to grind the back of one of my front teeth to fix the problem. During the grinding process I was thinking, he was doing a lot of grinding but you have to trust that your doctor knows what he's doing. This did not fix the issue and two days later while eating dinner (rice) the tooth the doctor had ground chipped. It was a large clearly visible chip in the exact location he had been grinding. It literally looks as if the bottom of my tooth broke off. I called the following day, explained the issue scheduled and appt. with The Brace Place and then went to see my dentist who recommended a repair and veneer be placed over the tooth. I went to my Brace Place appt., after an examination I told them my dentists recommendation. They noted that the front teeth spread was still happening, that the tray wasn't fitting just right, but the orthodontist was adamant it wasn't the grinding that caused the tooth to chip it was just a coincidence that it occurred while I was eating soft food two days after he ground it down. His assistant was in the room shaking her head in quiet disagreement every time he indicated the chip was not his doing. Dr. Albert even made the ridiculous comment that now that I had to get this huge chip fixed I could get the minor one (about 1/8 the size) on the other front tooth fixed too... haha. Then after I had them fixed I could come back and instead of ordering the correct hard, retainer like Invisilign trays that last a few years to fit the teeth after the chips were repaired, they would make me in-house thin retainers that would have to be replaced every 9-12 months. At this time I have not had the chip fixed because if I do the tray might fit even worse than it does now, and I don't really want to go see this business again. Eventually I am just going to go to orthodontist that did the braces on all my kids and have them help me get things right. it will cost money but it is better than dealing with unscrupulous people. read more

We were spending part of Winter Break from school in Naples. On our first night, we went to an Italian Restaurant, as my daughter was eating the screw on her herbst appliance fell off. This was a terrible thing to happen because, it left the other piece dangling in her mouth. My daughter was scared and very uncomfortable. It was a Sunday night, so my wife stated calling around to see if she can get a Orthodontist to help. She called one place and they turned her down. Then she called, The Brace Place. Although they can't touch another doctor's work by law, they told my wife they are willing to make our daughter more comfortable on her trip, so the appliance is not dangling in her mouth. They were willing to see my daughter right away. When my wife got there they quickly brought my daughter in, put the screw back on the appliance, in less than 5 minutes my daughter was ready to go and very happy. They were not even willing to get paid for this. We would like to thank the office for being so nice and considerate. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking to have orthodontic treatment done. Even though we do not live in Naples, it shows how great the staff is. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts. It would have ruined what little time we had to spend in Naples. It's nice to know that there are still a lot of great people in this world, that treat you the old fashioned way, that don't try to nickel and dime you. This visit could have been very costly for me. Again, thank you staff so much and for your smiles. That made our day. You make our trip fun again! read more
