You know that feeling when you walk into an office, see the bright smile of the person at the front…read moredesk and immediately feel a little more at ease? That was exactly how I felt walking into Park Family Dental. And for me, that's a BIG deal because I have pretty extreme dental anxiety from a childhood dental trauma. I originally went to Park Family Dental for a cleaning and a cosmetic consultation with Dr. Long, who I had researched extensively beforehand. The practice already had thousands of amazing reviews, but what really stood out to me was that Dr. Long is the only AACD Accredited cosmetic dentist in the area. That was especially important to me because I knew my case could be a little more complicated due to my childhood injury, and I really wanted someone with that level of training and expertise handling the cosmetic side of my treatment. My hygienist, Catalina, was so sweet and patient. She knew how nervous I was and made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. As it turned out, my case was definitely more complicated than I expected. What started as a cleaning and cosmetic consult uncovered a longstanding infection that I had absolutely no idea was there and ended up requiring some pretty extensive dental work. Being a medical professional myself, I was immediately impressed by the level of clinical expertise in this office. They were able to do a 3D CT scan right there, and I was able to consult with Dr. Macedo, who specializes in endodontic procedures. I ultimately needed multiple root canals as well as an apicoectomy with bone grafting. Dr. Macedo and her assistants, Miranda and Mary, were amazing. I honestly never knew it was possible to inject dental anesthetic without feeling a thing until Dr. Macedo did it! She and her team were incredibly gentle, patient and thorough and somehow made procedures that sounded absolutely terrifying to me go incredibly smoothly. Once all of that was taken care of, Dr. Long and his assistants Katia and David worked on the restorative and cosmetic part of my treatment, including the numerous crowns I needed. One of the things that really sets this office apart is that they have an on-site dental lab, which meant their ceramist, Lance, was able to be directly involved in creating my final smile. Lance is truly an artist. He and Dr. Long personally worked with me to make sure we got the shape, color and overall look exactly where I wanted it. I am honestly in awe of how my smile has been transformed. After everything that needed to be done, the final result is more than I could have hoped for. I won't go so far as to say I actually look forward to going to the dentist , but in just a few short weeks, the entire team at Park Family Dental managed to put fears I've had since childhood almost completely at ease. Considering they got me through root canals, an apicoectomy, bone grafting and extensive restorative and cosmetic dental work during that time, that is saying A LOT! I really can't say enough about this office. From Loyse at the front desk, to Catalina, Dr. Macedo, Miranda, Mary, Dr. Long, Katia, David and Lance, I felt like everyone genuinely cared about both the medical outcome and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. If you are looking for an exceptional cosmetic dentist, have a complicated dental case, or are someone who has dental anxiety like I do, I cannot recommend Park Family Dental enough.

This is my wife and my 6th year as a paitents of Dr Long since discovering him when we and lived for a short time in Naples. As a businessman with 40 years of experience in major markets I know the challenges of operating a successful business. I can tell you, Dr Long's practice is stellar. From Loise at the front desk to my hygienist Ayleen, to everyone of the staff who greet patients, the professionalism and warmth comes from the top. My smile, I now flash as often as I can. Once self conscious, I no longer think twice. My gums, after years of bleeding, no longer bleed. And I spent thousands over the years without success until Dr Long. I recently…read moredecided to visit an in-network practice called coastal dental...it was an absolute NIGHTMARE. Thankfully a coworker suggested Naples smiles...what a RELIEF. Although out of network for me, they offered a dental care plan for $100 that helped to reduce costs significantly. I would recommend this place to any friend or family member for a few reasons. 1.Staff is SO kind and empathetic. They know your name, ask about your day and truly want to get to know you and make you feel valued. The hygienists are kind, knowledgeable, and empathetic to the discomfort that naturally comes with having dental work done. Office staff show you on the computer screen what procedures and costs are offered to you and you are able to decide the best path of treatment for you and your budget. 2. Dr. Cruz was very thorough and knowledgeable..explaining many treatment options and the "why" to procedures he suggested. Although I have many dental issues going on, he readily explained the course of treatments and visits needed. During my appointments for a root canal and crown delivery he was empathetic, talked me through every step and worked efficiently. 3. Attention to detail is the cherry on top. Employees cover their bases, whether it's scheduling or insurance...comfort during the procedure, heck a hygienist even put Vaseline on my lips when she noticed and asked why I was in pain with all the tugging that comes with dentist work. They go the extra mile because they care. In conclusion, I really don't mind coming here. I hate going to the dentist...I put it off for a handful of years. But virtually everything about this place makes it inviting and suck way less. Great work. It is not easy to maintain that kind of company morale all around. I'm impressed!

I have always been a little self-conscious about my smile but absolutely terrified of the dentist…read more I would avoid going at all cost! For this reason, I never pursued the option of straightening my teeth. That is.. until I met Dr. Debi Strand. Debi and I first met at a networking lunch event through the Greater Naples Chamber of Commerce. I thought that I was a busy bee until I met her! We began to see each other everywhere and quickly became great friends. Hearing her talk about her product and the impact that it makes on peoples lives was inspiring and I knew I wanted to give it a shot! So we did a consultation and before I knew it I was wearing braces!! Entering the office of Dr. Debi is unlike any experience I have ever had. It certainly does not feel like a dental office. Beautiful wood floors, meticulously laid tiles in the bathroom, dental chair that massages you, bright open and cheerful.. She put a lot of thought into her patient experience. I have to say that I have never enjoyed ANYTHING about going to the dentist but going to see Dr. Debi was a pleasurable experience. Spending time there was anything but uncomfortable.. in fact.. it was a lot of unexpected fun!!! I looked forward to the "chair talk" and seeing the drastic results from visit to visit. What makes the experience so much fun is how excited Dr. Debi is to show you your results (which are absolutely unbelievable). What people wait years for with regular braces and Invisalign can be accomplished in a matter of months with Dr. Debi. I cannot say that the experience was not uncomfortable... but after each visit and seeing my before and after pictures... it has been 100% worth it. No one can say that Dr. Debi does not know what they are going through when she puts these braces on! She had them put on herself so she could "walk in her patient's shoes and truly understand their concerns". What an amazing thing to do for your clients! I highly recommend Dr. Debi Strand. She is an amazing dentist. Her expertise and professionalism are one to be reckoned with. You will be amazed with the quick transformation and extremely impressed with your results! I was! I got my braces off today and I could not be a happier girl! It only took 4 months for my teeth to straiten with Dr. Debi and now I have a perfect, beautiful smile! I cannot thank her enough!! I really wanted to do this for myself... Do something nice for myself. Working with Dr. Debi was one of the best decisions that I have ever made and now I have a perfect smile! I recently attended an appointment at Great Expression Dentistry in Naples, FL. I feel it is…read morenecessary to explain my experience and for the company to put measures in place to make sure future patient rights are not violated as I was. There are a few positives I would like to mention about my experience at the clinic. It was clean, they seemed to be running on time, the dental assistant was kind, and they did a good job taking my x-rays. Unfortunately, the positives stop here. Complaints and concerns are as follows: 1. Initially I was told I have a $5 co-pay for each office visit. I consulted with my insurance company and was told this is false; there is a $0 copay per visit. Great Expressions did not properly verify the insurance benefits before my appointment. 2. I received a complete set of x-rays and a panoramic film x-ray at the appointment. The latter was not covered under my insurance. Upon speaking with my insurance company, I was told both of these x-rays given on the same date are considered a duplication of services and are not medically necessary. This dentist office is trying to take advantage of its clients by performing unnecessary x-rays. 3. The dentist, Dr. Fidler, was abrupt and rude. He came into the room, asked if I was in any pain, looked at my teeth, said a few things to his assistant, and abruptly left. He did not allow time for me to ask him questions, he didn't speak with me about the condition of my teeth, didn't give me tips on how to improve things. He took a "quick peek" and left. In fact, he was speaking to his assistant about the condition of my mouth while walking down the hallway leaving the exam room. I thought he was leaving the room to get something and the dental assistant said the visit was complete. Every dentist I've ever seen consulted with me, the patient, after examining my mouth and we've worked together on how to improve things. This guy said a few things to his assistant and walked out so I didn't even get a chance to ask questions, very unprofessional. 4. After waiting a second time in the waiting room, one of the ladies working the front desk named Laura called me up and wanted to discuss the "treatment plan" in the waiting room in front of everyone. Patient conditions should be discussed in private, not in a waiting room where other patients can eavesdrop and learn about my personal health conditions - this place VIOLATED MY HIPPA!! 5. I had questions about the treatment recommended versus my current health condition and the front desk girl, Laura, started using a nasty tone and said, "This is what the doctor recommended during the visit and if you don't follow this plan, you cannot continue as a patient." First of all, the dentist saw me for literally 2 minutes and never actually spoke with me, so I never agreed nor was consulted about anything. When I questioned the clinical decisions, Laura, the front desk girl, sarcastically stated she is not clinical, the dentist doesn't have time to speak with me, and his recommendation stands (still in the middle of the waiting room). I never had a chance to hear the rationale for the recommendations nor did I learn about the current condition of my mouth; I had legitimate concerns that were silenced. I went to this dentist because I changed insurances and my previous dentist doesn't take my new insurance. I go to the dentist every six months and they always give me a standard cleaning. I wanted to continue the typical x-rays/exam/cleaning at this place, but they won't let me. Apparently, the front desk girl stated my upper teeth & gums are in poor condition and need an intense cleaning which will include a numbing lotion and antibiotic. I never heard of an antibiotic and numbing lotion for a cleaning. This place is doing everything they can to get as much money out of people as they possibly can, which is very unfortunate. I am involved in other health studies for serious health complications and cannot be putting unnecessary antibiotics into my blood stream. I don't understand how they can argue with the customer (who pays their bills) in the middle of the waiting room full of other patients. 6. I filed a complaint with their corporate office, and later Laura spoke with me over the phone, lecturing me because I complained about her. Laura told me I am no longer welcome at their place of business and they refuse all future services. By law, a medical practice must provide services to a patient for at least 30 days before dismissing them from a practice. Also, based on my insurance regulations, I am assigned to this practice (as they accepted me) and can only change facilities the 1st day of each month if I submit for a change by the 15th of the previous month. I spoke with the regional supervisor regarding all these concerns once, she said she was going to call me back, but never did. Overall, I had a terrible patient experience and left the clinic shaking due to the way I was treated.

Dentist review We…read morewere very disappointed with the experience at this dentist. They insisted on taking a panoply of X-rays, although we had provided X- rays from our NJ dentist taken less than six months ago. They refused to do a cleaning unless another visit was scheduled at which point they would need to do a "deep cleaning" at a higher cost than a regular cleaning. We have never heard of a distinction being made about the type of cleaning that was to be provided and a difference in price. Nor have we ever been advised that two visits were needed before a cleaning could be done. When we decided to switch back to our NJ dentist, we had to make several requests and encountered difficulties that we believe were unwarranted, just to get our records.
