Luckily, I found Eddy Security and Training who fit me days before my license expired despite their normal classes already being full. Todd the owner worked around my schedule and met me on a Tuesday afternoon. The 4 hour requal cost $70 plus a $16 range fee at Reigs Gun Shop and Range. Todd was really knowledgeable and had a great understanding of security. Todd teaches the D & G combined class Monday- Saturday 10a-9p with an 8 hour range day at Reigs on Sunday. Afterwards, many of his students obtain licenses through FDACS and find meaningful employment with a security agency. Todd said several of his students were hired by Paragon Systems and Rancom Security who specialize in GSA contracts with higher than average entry wages with no previous experience. Todd also teaches concealed weapon and women's handgun defense classes with his wife. Prices for each class can be found on Eddy's website but don't include any applicable licencing fees required by FDACS. Eddy Security and Training is located in same shopping plaza as Sonic. The plaza has an orange colored roof and the suite overhead sign says "407 Academy" which can be found on the Northeast side of the Plaza.

As much as the instructors and course might be great, ownership is absolutely disgusting. I signed up for the real estate course months ago, and because of unfortunate circumstances I was not able to complete it. I was charged for months with never accessing the site. I finally called after seeing the charge and the man was completely insensitive and unempathetic. I just requested for one months return, which so you all know was charged just two days prior to this phone call!! Meaning I would have a whole new month to use the service even though I was trying to cancel it! He said he would not make any exception. This is stealing! MORALLY! If you know your client isn't going to use the service for the whole month, you have all ready made money every month on the client, and the charge is most likely even still processing (on top of the client having gone through certain circumstances as well) and you say no to reversing the charge??!! Such horrible people.

They have ear protection to rent out so you really just need to show up with an ID and a form of payment. I've been here twice already and am looking forward to my next time shooting!

Ms. Hudson started off well and was organized with different outings that they could attend for the month and would provide pictures / brief summaries of the outings. Living in another state, this was helpful for the family. However, as time went by reality started to surface. The staff at the facility where my dad resides had numerous complaints about the way she spoke down to them. She came when she wanted and left when she wanted. Sometimes it was hard if she came at all. She also over-billed and failed to refund the full security deposit we gave her. We had a credit for hours of services not provided and the administrative side of things became a mess. Her tone of superiority / unresponsiveness to simple requests (eg let us know when coming so he can be ready) is clearly something I hope she will work. I don't like to write negative reviews about any business but feel others should be cautious with her billing practices and the services actually being received. Also the summaries are basically fluff (eg everything is great!) and the pictures are generally posed pictures when she would insist he smile to appear happy. Being far away, facts and reality are what I want to know and see. Not phony smiles, painted pictures of happiness and over-charges.
