I have enjoyed my journey of the neighborhood corner bars that I have found..but this vibe at The Brass Tap was unique in the best way! Christian the bartender was super friendly and personable! Different Steak Sandwich #1250. Everyone was quick to point out that they don't have a cheesesteak. They do have a Ribeye Steak Sandwich. I got the Ribeye Steak Sandwich. Here it is straight from the menu: 'Sliced ribeye, crispy onions, spicy mayo on a toasted garlic butter hoagie roll.' It came with very good seasoned french fries. I think the french fries had Parmesan cheese on them. A Bite of Steak sandwich, accompanied by several fries, felt like a cheesesteak with fries. They had a friendly crowd. Except for one conversation I overheard that was painful to listen to. Chris was great. Molly was skeptical. The Ribeye Steak Sandwich had a ton of flavor, but it also had a good amount of fat. My biggest complaint about these kinds of sandwiches is that you can't see the fat. Don't get this on a 1st date or you'll have to decide: eat fat or never see this person again read more

Cute little bar/restaurant away from the Main Street of Manayunk. They have happy hour until 8p on a Friday night. Cocktails for only $8.50 and that was the most expensive item on the happy hour menu. Crowd was a mixture of people just grabbing a drink, family eating outside and couples on dates. It's super adorable. Just a little bit for everyone. The bar was short a bartender, Wayne who was the working bartender worked without his partner did a wonderful job attending to the full bar. read more

This place is one the best neighborhood Bars you can go to. It's off the beaten path, Main Street but falls short of nothing that Main Street has to offer. The Staff is always friendly and accommodating all the way down to the food.. Yoooo they let me split my wings up... I got half buffalo wings and half garlic Parm... ON HAPPY HOUR okayyyyy. Came here for a drag brunch. The place was a little crowded for the event. But the food was good and came quick considering how many people were there. The main server for the event, Christian, was super sweet, helpful and made the experience even more enjoyable! read more

This place is fantastic! My friends and I shared a ton of food and everything we got was just unreasonably good. I cannot say enough good things about the pretzels, they have a nice snap to them from a firm exterior but such a soft pillowy interior. You have to get one! The staff was wonderful. Our waitress was so kind and went above and beyond consistently. The owner was also there and he's super kind and friendly and it's very apparent that he truly cares about the success of the place and the happiness of his patrons. We hosted our wedding afterparty at the Brass Tap in September 2024. Working with Izak and the Brass Tap was the easiest part of our wedding planning. The lower space at the bar offers a great area for private parties. Izak and the staff were welcoming and extremely accommodating with our food and beverage orders, having access to the speakers for music, and even set up video games on the tv screen for our guests. The Brass Tap is my new favorite spot! It is a great addition to the neighborhood. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, and the food and drinks are great! They have a great beer selection and really good cocktails. My usual food go-to is the chicken tacos or nachos. I almost always have to order the Boom Boom Shrimp too because they're phenomenal! Pizzas are also really good! Had the brunch for the first time the other day and the Southwest Skillet was delicious! They have awesome specials throughout the week, including happy hour and late night happy hour. Looking forward to trying more off the menu! The Brass Tap has a really nice atmosphere with wonderful staff and great food and drinks. So happy it is here! read more

We had our wedding after-party at The Brass Tap and it was excellent. If we lived in Manayunk, we would go back regularly. The owner, Izak, seems like a genuinely kind and solid person, and he was incredibly easy to work with and offered to do anything we wanted to make the night feel special. He bought us a round of shots while we were there partying too. The vibe is laid back and neighborhoody, the beer selection was great, and everyone really enjoyed the food which he insisted on timing exactly right so that is was hot and fresh when we got there. If you're looking for a regular spot in Manayunk, or just an easy spot to enjoy a nice beer and some pub food, you should go to the Brass Tap. read more

Love this place! I'm from MD and me and my friend came here because they had TVs and we wanted to watch a basketball game. The owner is super pleasant and nice and the bartender/waitress is awesome.
