The farmers market was bustling when I arrived at 10am. There are many vendors, inside and outside featuring clothing, organic foods of all types, tea, fresh flowers (some only 25 cents a stem!), honey, ferments, mushrooms, and so much more. I loaded up a basket with organic cabbage, green beans, kohlrabi, kale, squash, zucchini, broccolini...I was SHOCKED when I unloaded and the cashier added everything up- $13! If you buy organic-this is your spot. I am officially a regular now.

( there were people still sitting at tables so there was no indication they were closed)! Which is fine. But someone could have been kind enough to let us know rather than watch us standing around waiting to be helped for 20 minutes. The snub seemed purposeful. Perhaps because we were clearly from out of town ( I will leave it at that). We were able to go to Dogtown next door and get food. Service there was excellent and the folks were much more friendly.

Every person jumped in to either bring us food, drinks or check in on us. They even chatted about college with him. We felt like family. I usually say what is special about breakfast? It's difficult to mess up. I got the special corned beef hash breakfast and it was simple and delicious. I loved every single bite. They also had homemade strawberry jam which was perfect. Not like those little prepackaged plastic jelly packs. Thank you again for a great meal!
