So we are in a very unfamiliar place.... have roller derby camp all day and by dinner are just STARVING and ready for some non picnic style food. I needed a salad or I might have gone insane. Lucky for me, I had cell service and Yelp to find just the spot. It was an easy decision based on the options I found and we hopped in the car and headed for Breadline Cafe. You approach the building and it is super cute! I was like "wow... adorable." The place is filled with mismatched furniture and nicknacks and lamps of all sorts. The music is fantastic and the hostess was on point. Everyone from busers to our waitress and this woman behind the counter who talked me into a dessert to take back to my hotel, were just outstanding. The food is cafe type food from all over with lots of options for everyone. I had a salad with feta and almonds and other goodies. The menu didn't say it came with tomatoes or cucumbers (otherwise I would have asked them to be taken off) BUT they were all on the side of the plate and not mixed in, so it was no problem. Everyone was happy with what they got.... the chocolate malt was ON POINT and SO GOOD. The brownie with ganache that I took back to the hotel for later was divine. The Breadline Cafe in Omak is the way to go for a nice sit down lunch or dinner for sure. read more

Yummy Three ladies traveling for a girls trip weekend. The Breadline Cafe was recommended by our hotel staff. We arrived to find a quirky old style restaurant. The decor was cute with so much to look at. Our waitress was quick and friendly. Two of us ordered steak. Mine was ordered med well and it was perfect. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the portions were large. The bread buffet was so good. Breadline offered a variety of fresh breads with a variety of toppings and some dips. The Breadline has an eclectic menu and environment. My first visit, I had their Ellensburg'er which was sliced leg of lamb on a focaccia bun with cabbage doused in tatsziki served with garlic fries. This was the best not a burger I've had, but Lamburger may have been more accurate. There were some issues with service, our server was not invisible as I prefer wait staff to seem; she interrupted continually, was very loud and ultimately charged for a few items she had forgotten to bring to the table, though that was fixed without argument. First time visiting from out of town. We ordered the 8oz sirloin and the Zeus plate. The salads were really good - I highly recommend the berry vinaigrette. They have a bread bar with all house made breads which was pretty good. The food overall was worth it. My steak was cooked a perfect medium, and came with pretty yummy mashed potatoes. The veggies were perfectly stream and still had a bit of crunch, but could have been warmer. The Zeus plate was ok, but not hot. It felt like it had been cooked a whole shoo and been keeping warm: it wasn't overdone by any means. Just not hot off the grill. The spanicopida was really good, but again just warm and not hot. Overall, very much worth the price. Great service, friendly staff, great flavor on the food all around: I just wish parts were hot instead of just warm. read more

The service was excellent, and the food was great. Lot of classic Homestyle foods as well as steaks and burgers. I had what is called Grandma's Best which was two boneless pork chops with the best sage stuffing anywhere squeezed between them with roasted red potatoes and vegetables. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxing. The decor is very rustic and charming which is perfect for small town America. The name of the restaurant is based on their bread bar. Yes a bread bar not a salad bar. They had about 6 different fresh bread options with butter, oil and vinegar, and a garlic aioli spread available to choose from while you wait for your order. Be sure not to fill up on it which can be hard as you will want to save room for the actual meal. read more

My husband and I were in Omak Washington on business recovering a pool table at the Best Western motel. It was going to be a long drive back to the Tri-Cities and we were hungry. After Googling restaurants I found the breadline cafe. The bteadline cafe sounded promising. I had not expected much because the population was only a little over 4,000. Maybe pizza, American Chinese or a buffet of some sort. Boy was I wrong! No compromise here or making do with the food. The food was top-notch. They had not only excellent food, excellent service, a fun bread bar and the decor was unique and quirky. A must stop if your in the area. read more

What a charming place! We had heard repeatedly that we need to stop in to Breadline Cafe when in Omak, but our previous trips haven't allowed for it. When we got into town and had some time to spare, we knew we had to stop in for lunch. This place is awesome. We each ordered something a little different, but all of us were more than satisfied. I ordered the Tonasket sandwhich with potato salad and it was amazing. The bread and the ingredients are of good quality. The creamy cranberry dipping sauce was unique and delicious. I also ordered a fresh marionberry mojito. It was perfectly refreshing on a hot day. The decor is so awesome. I love all the vintage memorabilia and photographs. The price range aligns well with the quality and the serving size. The host and the waitress were both delightful and pleasant. We received really great service, and left satisfied. Breadline is probably our top spot in town. We have enjoyed almost everything we have ordered. Also, how can you resist a bread bar? I usually order the little Italy. It's an 8 oz sirloin with either spaghetti or alfredo. The steak is always cooked the way I ordered, medium rare, and the alfredo is soooo good. The veggies are ok. I personally hate broccoli, yellow squash, and zucchini. I would much prefer green beans, asparagus or even brussel sprouts. I love carrots but they are a little too "gingery." Honestly, the vegetable selection is my only complaint when it comes to the food. As for atmosphere, I would definitely say it's time for a deep cleaning. Although it feels cluttered the decor doesn't bother me. It's just time to spruce up. Overall, it's a great place and I would definitely recommend it. read more

Very nice ambiance, but the food was horrible. Steak was over-cooked and clams were too. Rubbery and everything else was like it came out of a freezer bag or sat under heat lamps. We have been to the Breadline numerous times. Most of our meals have been good. But the other day when our food arrived my fries looked like they were the total dregs and they were barely warm. The waitress did bring me more fries which were very hot but just plain limp. The bottom bun of my burger was saturated and soggy. We were passing through town and stopped for a late lunch at Breadline Cafe and were mighty impressed. Just about everything on the menu - from the breads to the sauces and everything in between - is made from scratch in-house and sourced locally. I ordered the Reuben with fries and my husband ordered a cheeseburger with fries and both were INCREDIBLE. There is a clear passion for the finest ingredients and highest quality. This is an adorable little cafe, I could spend the entire day just looking at the antiques. I love the old table clothes that grace each table. What a fun touch. This cafe is clearly someones baby and it shows. (Ladies, the rest room is adorable too, like stepping back in time). The food is amazing, I had a burger and the toppings were as fresh as they come. I do not normally consider myself a huge bread fan, but if I lived in Omak that would have to change, the bread was out of this world, and the bread bar is such a clever idea. One of my favorite places, and while it is true Okanogan County doesn't have a huge assortment of places to choose from, we do travel outside of the area and eat out often. Breadline still ranks high on our list of favorite restaurants. The Saturday morning breakfast is a favorite but the regular menu is excellent. The Greek food we have had here is delicious and I especially love the salad bar which is a wonderful meal in itself. Was on business in Omak recently and discovered this gem...great restaurant and bakery located in an old bottling facility...locally sourced ingredients, fabulous waiter Alejandro filled me in on the history of the restaurant...had the blackened burger with a wonderful salad, also purchased some freshly made bread...the Suicide Sauce is to die for (no pun intended)...got some great souvenirs for my favorite cousin Olivia ... cannot wait to get back here for dinner next year ... if you find yourself in Omak go to the Breadline Cafe!!! read more
