We stopped in for dinner while staying at the Sun Mountain Lodge and the food was delicious! We each got a house made pasta, burrata, and the hush puppies. All of it was perfectly prepared ! The service was a little slow (although I guess we're on mountain time, right?) It's a quaint place perfect for small group or date night with fresh ingredients used throughout the meal

Excellent quality fresh ingredients and locally sourced. Very friendly staff and fast service. There is seating at the bar if you forget to make a reservation. Nice setting on the edge of town.

Had the smashed lamb gyro and it was good! My daughter had the chicken sandwich and it was great, perfect spice! Service was good, clean place, we'll be back! Prices were decent under $20 a plate.

We decided to give this a try after their recent change from Arrowleaf Bistro. I was pleased with the seating changes, a corner was made into a cozy nook with comfy pillows and was appreciated. I ordered the special, glad I did, it was delicious. I also ordered the French onion soup. I am only giving 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1) the French Onion Soup needs a little more attention. It was not piping hot, seemed to be microwaved to heat up so the heating within the bowl was very inconsistent, it also lacked in any seasoning. The rest of the table ordered off the menu, and it was mentioned that the gnocchi was disappointing....it needed more seasoning and the sauce was runny, sparse and tasteless. And 2) the pricing on the menu is confusing, it has 2 prices. When asked, it's a price for a full plate/half plate. With that being said, the rigatoni was a half price item, but there was more of that than the gnocchi which was a full price item. I know with a new menu, there will be some bumps and I hope they stay on track. We will be back to support this business.

Food and drinks were both great, staff was nice, we were a party of 8 and got our food fairly quickly. Cozy vibe inside.

I used to purchase staples like farro from my local supermarket. But my supermarket only carried…read morepackages in small amounts--1 lb bags at most, and most of those options were pearled, and they were a bit pricey for such a small amount. I figured, if I went to the source to get a supply of farro, it might be more cost effective, last longer, and it might have more variety while retaining a greater amount of nutrition. Bluebird Grain Farm checks all these boxes. They are located in Winthrop, WA, and do both wholesale and retail. Surprisingly, my local supermarket, located more than 2100 miles from Bluebird, has also started to display 1 lb sized bags from Bluebird. But I don't buy those. I go direct to Bluebird, and nab multiple 5 lb bags, where they are shipped to my door in a nifty cardboard box with an oval sticker that contains their logo. Which means instead of going through a pound of farro and buying more every week, I can get four 5 lb bags that'll last 4-5 months. Fewer trips to the grocery store. They have flat rate shipping, so it's advantageous to buy a bit in bulk. Of course, I order their whole grain Einkorn Berries. But they also grow Emmer Farro, Pasayten White Wheat, Methow Red Wheat, Sonora Heritage White Wheat, Heritage Rye, and more. They also present their grains in several ways: (1) whole, (2) mixed, (3) slightly cracked, (4) pulverized into flour, and (5) blended flours. They also come in various sizes to suit your needs: (a) 1 lbs or 2 lbs, (b) 4 lbs or 5 lbs, and (c) 25 lbs. At least their 5 lbs bags come nicely packaged for storage. It's durable plastic packing with their logo, which adds a pleasant look to the inside of the fridge. Nutritional info and a recipe also adorn the outer walls. Flavor-wise, their einkorn berries are wonderful, tasty, and beautiful to look at. Close to the bottom of the bag you'll find more crumbs, and overall, very minimal amounts of foreign material; usually if there is something that's not a berry included, it'll be a small piece of fibrous thing related to the hull. Those are easy to recognize and pick out. I like to cook it using some chicken stock and spices. It cooks well, doesn't expand drastically like rice or beans, and it's easy to eat. Cheers!

The standout was the carrots, it was my favorite surprisingly, beautifully roasted, naturally sweet, and layered over a rich, bright purée that made the whole dish feel special. From the bright beet dish to the perfectly cooked salmon to the classic burger and fries, everything tasted like the kitchen actually enjoys what they're doing. Well done to the cooks in the back! I've had their wines many times at home, but hadn't been in for a visit and taste in many many years until this past Memorial Day weekend. Sadly, the winery experience to me was a little underwhelming. The grounds felt a little scattered, and the team working seemed a little cold to my in-laws (despite them being long time members and locals). The Sauvignon Blanc bottle we shared had the very distinct "cat pee" aroma that I couldn't get out of my nose. I had to choke it down. The views were beautiful and I know their other wines have been good, I'm just not sure if this is some place I'd come back to given all the many other fantastic options in the area.
