I enjoyed the meal, no real qualms there, lamb was well done but "rack" doesn't mean 2 bones (just FYI). Tuna tar tar, wasn't bad, tuna is a too thickly cut and lacked finesse. To my main qualm, It was so swelteringly hot in the restaurant I couldn't concentrate on anything but leaving. They have a little wall unit which cannot keep up. Our glasses of wine and water were sweating under the oppressive heat. The server gave us water once the whole meal and I had to keep getting her attention for everything. I won't be back until the fall or winter...maybe.

(If you're wondering, they also offer a regular BLT--but you won't get the turkey, avocado, or chipotle mayo that make the Tin Roof version so special.) It was a delicious sandwich from start to finish. For myself, I ordered the Nutellaccino. It was surprisingly good. The Nutella added a nutty richness to the coffee without making it crazily sweet. We also ordered a peanut butter brownie to go. Since my son was eating his sandwich first, the staff kindly offered to keep the brownie in the fridge until we were ready to leave. We returned after waiting 40 minutes only to be told their system wasn't working and they were no longer seating customers. The problem isn't that their system failed--things happen. The problem is that they already had our name and phone number and made absolutely no effort to contact us. If we hadn't walked back to ask, we would have continued waiting indefinitely for a table that was never coming. We even offered to pay with cash, but they still refused to seat us, despite having put us on the wait list 40 minutes earlier. They simply dismissed us. This showed a complete lack of respect for their customers and our time. A simple phone call or someone stepping outside to notify the people waiting would have taken only a few minutes. Instead, they chose to leave customers standing around with no communication whatsoever. There are plenty of restaurants in Collingwood that value their customers' time. Based on this experience, this isn't one of them.
