This was a nice little cinema. A sure throwback to the old days of cinema where you show up, get your tickets, grab some popcorn and head to your movie. Friendly customer service from start to finish. The screen was solid, sound was good and no issues with the movie. The have cleaned it up. The restrooms are clean. No more bucket under the urinals and all the restroom doors have handles.. The lobby is clean and neat. Popcorn has never been old. The attendants are always fast and friendly. Prices on the candy is high like at all theaters. They do keep the theaters clean. read more

In respect to 9/2/2023 Review. This theatre is STILL stinking like mold. Bad first impression upon walking in. The smell could kill you. It was warm too so I am thinking the AC is shut off at night? Then if so it should be turned on several hours before the first showing then maybe the theatre will be cooler and less stinky. read more

A decent old style movie theater, no reclining seats etc. Not usually ever very crowded. Prices lower than the fancier ones. We like the popcorn with self serve butter! First run movies and we enjoy going here and it's close to home. read more

We went to the breeze cinema tonight. We cannot believe they've raised their tickets to $12 when the AMC in Pensacola charges $10.50. The theater is outdated, dirty and very smelly. My chair did not even have a cupholder on one side. Our theater had the old cloth seats that were very worn out. Oh, and did I mention it's seven dollars for a large drink. My wife and I experienced food poisoning symptoms after eating the popcorn after taking the kids to see Puss in Boots. This was the only food that we had shared the entire day. Not entirely sure if the popcorn was fresh. Just be cautious. read more

Great movie theater. Very clean, friendly staff, stadium seating, good sound quality. First run movies. The prices are good, tickets $7. Popcorn and drinks are more reasonable than the chains. Large popcorn and drink $12.50 with refills. Doesn't have reserved seating is the only drawback. It's great to see an independent theater these days. Everything is the national chains. Took the family to The Breeze Cinema 8 last week for Aladdin, I was somewhat disappointed that the side lights were not turned down during the movie but I thought maybe they left them up because there were so many little ones in the theatre. Decided to give them another shot today when we went and saw the Avengers Endgame. I was quickly reminded why I prefer AMC. The side lights were left turned up again, the AC was barely blowing (I literally walked out of the movie sweating!) and halfway through the movie someone turned the lights on in the projector room and never turned them off. To top it off there were people in the projector room talking so loud that I could hear them over the movie! Drive the extra 10 minutes to Pensacola and go to AMC! read more

Very comfortable theater. The first one in my life that wasn't absolutely freezing. Very comfortable temperature, great sound on the film and great picture. The seating is incredibly comfortable too. I will certainly revisit this theater when I'm in town. Very pleasant experience. read more

This is a nice old home town theater, nothing fancy at all. I'm glad to see that when I saw Avengers, Endgame that the seats in that particular room were nice new and plush, but sadly not reclining. Since it was a long movie I brought my Yeti cup in and paid for a small drink and there was no issues with bringing it in. Super helpfull if we are going to try to limit our waste and not use straws. This is usually the theater we see movies at and glad that it is in town. read more

BUGS??? So after reading some of the previous reviews from a few years back, we checked in a little bit leery. SURPRISE! In a good way.YEAH! Sure, you can tell that the building has been around awhile, but we found it much cleaner most MEGA-MULTI- GIGANTIC-MOVIE 24 conglomerates ---- and with all the amenities you expect, snack bar, clean restrooms and DOLBY sound. We also didn't have to deal with the crowds. As a shout out to my fellow yelper Chuck M, they still don't have just plain salt for your corn, man. But my daughter enjoyed shaking on the white cheddar cheese stuff, I dunno Chuck, you might just have to bring your own! BTW, if management reads this: I would love to see them open up to Fathom Events--- like the NY Metropolitan Opera--- but that's probably not going to happen anytime soon. read more

Plus, prices are close to the same in any given market. This is the commercial alternative to the Gulf Breeze 4 cinema. They run the standard big name films geared for mass consumption. However since this theater is on the west side of Gulf Breeze in the Tiger Point area, the crowds are sparse during the week, especially for the late show. On several occasions I've had private screenings and when there are other patrons they are quite and respectful, even the teenagers (as a rule). Definitely a plus and the main reason this gets a four star rating. The ticket prices are good and they have a variety of specials, so you can usually get in for $6/7, unless you're seeing a 3D film. The concessions are the standard fare, but the popcorn for the late shows tends to be left over so be advised. The staff is mainly local kids but they are friendly and seem to enjoy their work. The building is starting to show some wear and tear (it's 10 years old) and could do with some deep cleaning and new paint and carpet. Still, it's a great entertainment option for a fairly small community. read more

First time visiting this movie theatre and absolutely the last... I took my almost 2 year old daughter to see the new despicable me movie and the hubby wanted to see baby driver so we go to the counter we are greeted fairly nicely but her attitude quickly changed when I mentioned the ticket prices as she charged us $21 I asked how much a ticket was and she said $7 and I simply said while picking my daughter up that you charge for a child that's not even 2 years old and she got snarky and rude and kept calling my daughter a he! Saying I didn't know he was only 2 years old and I'd say she and she just kept saying he I was so livid that a person could act that way with a child... will never be back read more

This is a good theater. I liked how centrally located it is and their prices are not as bad. Their screens were pretty large which was great considering how small of a theater this is! My only reason for the 4 stars is that their arcade needs some loving. Some of their games were broken but besides that I will be making this my regular theater! read more

I would give the theater 4 stars if they could provide PLAIN salt for the popcorn they sell! They never have any, and their excuse is that "people keep stealing the salt shakers". Surely this problem could be solved if anyone cared to! No one steals the oversized containers of flavored salt-like dressings - how about filling one of THOSE with regular salt? Or moving the regular salt closer to the center of the counter where theft might be less likely? Or, they make salt available in those little paper 'snap open' packs, like McDonald's? Or, given the price they charge for popcorn, they buy the little cardboard packed salt shakers and eat it as a cost of being a movie theater? read more

Let me just say this is one of the best theaters I've been to in a long time. All the workers were so nice and helpful! They welcomed us with smiles and made sure to point us in the right direction. The place was clean, bathrooms clean, seats were comfy, and good prices! I really enjoyed this place. Pensacola's theaters could really learn from The Breeze on how to treat costumers!
