First time here. It was a short walk from the hotel I was staying at. I tried 4 of their beers, 2nd & Elm, Smash, Prancing Pony and Thank a Veteran. 2nd & Elm and Prancing Pony were my favorites. I wanted to try the Smoked Burger but they are not carrying it anymore, so I had the Classic Cheeseburger. It's a thin patty, well seasoned and delicious. The Cole Slaw I ordered had a weird taste so I didn't eat it. Overall, this is a cool place with some nice artwork by local artists. read more

In town for a few days and wanted to grab a burger. Nice site down affair not fast food. Swung by Colby's as I've been there before but they were booked and I wasn't interested in a 40 minute wait. Staff there suggested The Brew Bridge. I called ahead to be sure there was no wait. Beautiful building and vibe but not very crowded for a Saturday night. Was waited on my a wonderful young server by the name of Shelly. Pleasant , great attitude and welcoming when I asked questions about the menu. Now the food was the big issue here. Selected the Black and Brew burger which was describe as having two patties. Yes there were two but doubtful they were the 6 oz each as listed. The brew cheese sauce was very runny and caused the buns to fall apart when I picked it up. Burger was very well done as well. Side of sweet potato waffle fries were placed in a small dish barely allowing for a small handful. Pickles on the burger were an up charge. Definitely did not curb the burger craving. I pushed my reservations aside and ordered the dessert. Went with a slice of strawberry cheese cake. Server said they did not have any last time it was ordered but she would check. Viola! Came back with a slice.. though it was missing the strawberries. Away she went and returned with only a strawberry sauce. At this point I'm all in so I drizzled the sauce over the slice. Went to cut into it only to find the gorgeous looking slice was frozen solid. Ugggg . Walked it to the bar and asked for my check and explained the slice issue. In town for a tournament at the convention center and we decided to eat here after a long day of travel. Truly it didn't quite look open from the outside, but we made our way in. Super friendly greeting immediately when we walked in. Service from Nick was 11/10! Advised on selecting beers, was awesome with our kids, hit all of the marks on service and keeping up with the table. All of our food was generously portioned and very good too! We were pleasantly surprised to find that kids ate free with adult entrees on Thursdays and that made it even better. Highly recommend! read more

The food is awful. We had burnt breakfast pizza. They remade it and it was undercooked. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

I stopped in a month ago for take out BB nachos with pulled pork and a grilled chicken Cobb salad, and a can of Don Villa, and about 4 different beers to take home. My plan was to take pictures of all the beer I took home, and add to my review each time I tried one, but I failed too do that. Good idea, poor execution. So you get everything all in one review. The nachos and Cobb salad were fantastic, and way too much food for one person. My order was taken and made promptly. Staff is friendly but busy. Where you order take out is at the bar, but the bar is like a foot lower then were you order and enter the building. So it's weird, you are literally tower over the employees and talking down to them? Now on to the beers: I paired my nacho with Don Villa a Mexican lager. I like the Mexican lager a lot. It would make an excellent michelada! Beer I brought back: Biru Japanese lager: このビールはおいしいです, どうもありがとうございます. Light speed: American lite lager, why drink lite beer from a woke non American owned multinational company when you can get it local? Bull Moose Ale: A nice ale made with German malt, hops and yeast. Good food and good service! Would definitely recommend if you are in town. The sliders were very good and they had a lot of beer choices.

Went there Saturday with family and friends from out of state, not crowded at all. Excited to try the grilled pizzas. Ordered 3 of them, and the cheese pizza never came out. First they said they couldn't fit all of them in the oven, secondly when they did put it in they burned it, which was 10 minutes after everyone already had their food. Finally we just cancelled it. I have been 4 times now since they opened and have never been there when they haven't royally screwed up our order. I want to support local, but I think I've give them way more chances than they deserve. read more

Good thing we got reservations because the place was PACKED and not an extra seat for anyone who decided to come at the last minute. We started with pork nachos and pretzels and cheese. The nachos were delicious! Fresh jalepenos made them extra spicy. The pretzels were average. I wish I had gotten another order of nachos for my meal. SO GOOD! I ordered a mushroom and Swiss burger with sweet potato fries and my husband got a burger with tots. His tots were crispy, hot, and perfect. My food was not hot. I didn't say anything because the place was packed and our waitress was working hard to accommodate everyone. I think my meal might have tasted better on another night. Service was friendly however when I had a problem with my order, they were not responsive. The ambience was wonderful clean fun inside. Youthful and family oriented homebrew beers very good. I got three different appetizers to try out the sweet potato waffle fries were really good. The dressed french fries were OK. The tater tots were absolutely rancid and horrible. When I told them they had no compensation or reaction to it. I feel like that was bad customer service. My bill was on the high side, considering I could only eat part of what I ordered. read more

Went here because my BIL knew one of the owners. Sadly, he's already sold off his share and is no longer involved. Still, the beer was solid. I always order the lightest beer I can at breweries because you can hide a lot of sins in heavy and/or hoppy beers, but you can't hide bad practices in light beer. I really liked their blonde ale. 4oz tasters are $2 each whether it's house beer or guest taps. Most pints are $5 They have a large selection of bourbon, but quite pricey! The food is good bar food but definitely on the pricy side except for their sides (a basket of fries was $2.49). I would definitely go back! read more

Came for a quick bite/early lunch so it wasn't busy. Order the smoked turkey with slaw and french fries. Turkey was moist but a little bland. Slaw had apples which was unique and tasty. Kettle chips appetizer with beer cheese was flavorful. But the appetizer grits with bacon and cheese was very very good. Creamy and packed with flavor. OK, so I'm going to give this a four-star even though the food and entertainment is definitely a five star, please make sure that you understand that. I'm giving a four-star because the top three most pricey bourbons on the list we requested to order and they had none of the three. In Kentucky let alone Owensboro. That's just not OK or at minimum put a little notation on the menu. Otherwise you've got to go for their trivia. It is super difficult but a lot of fun and there are many participants. I have never seen a trivia that allows so many people to be on a single team, but it is a lot of fun. Try the cheesecake by the way. read more

Escaped Nashville for a weekend away in Owensboro and absolutely loved this spot!! The weather was beautiful, so we decided to spend our time out on the patio. There were multiple patio tables and games available for anyone to enjoy on a first come first serve basis. We got there at around 11, so it was pretty empty and we could pick whichever table. The service was friendly and attentive without being annoying. We got a flight of ciders, which were delicious, but we were seriously blown away with the food. I recommend the brisket nachos and the brisket grilled cheese. Both dishes were huge portions and absolutely delicious. I will for sure be back if I'm ever back in town! read more

Need I say it? This place is an absolute OASIS in Owensboro. We were in town visiting friends and family and tried out all the recommendations and were thoroughly "meh'd" by the typical. Who recommends chain restaurants anymore?!? I was worried that they serve primarily BBQ since I'm not a huge BBQ person but my boyfriend and I stumbled over from the hotel one afternoon. I like to keep my reviews short and to the point but we also split two flights (8 total samples) of their own brewed beer. As of writing they are the only brewery in town which is a shame. We love breweries and found that another of the local breweries - Mile Wide - had recently closed. It was scorching hot on the day we went but we toured the patio space and it looks pretty solid. The inside of the establishment is a mix of various looks which was kind of confusing - a mural, wood paneling, barrels, brick, and drywall - odd but for whatever reason it kinda works! My boyfriend and I split the brisket nachos and thought they were to die for! Our favorite beer was the Kodiak Brown Ale! read more

Never have I been told by a server that I would be better off going to the bar and ordering there because she was too busy, until last night. I watched at least 15-20 customers in front of me at the bar waiting to order just give up and walk out,which is what my party did as well. We're so lucky to have a place like brew bridge in downtown Owensboro! Love the cool ambiance for a chill night out or enjoying their weekly trivia, bingo, and karaoke events. The beer they brew is always stellar along with their wide selection of tasty food. We split the brisket nachos, monster burger, and loaded tots last time we visited and all were absolutely delicious. The staff is always friendly and helpful with solid recommendations for beer! I stay in Owensboro periodically, and finally gave this place a try. Has a nice, welcoming vibe to it. A lot of draft beers. Some local, some popular brands. Service was good. I got the brisket sandwich, and a side of Mac. The mac was spectacular. The brisket sandwich wasn't bad. And it wasn't great. The meat was pretty dry. As someone that cooks, I know that brisket can be temperamental. But I also went on a Tuesday. They're closed on Monday. So I probably got leftovers from Sunday, or a rushed one that was cooked at a high temp Tuesday. Either way, I'll definitely give it another chance. read more

We were a party of 6, we sat down and the place was a little busy. No service, just a guy that kept walking by telling us they will help us when they could. He was going to different tables and chatting up the customers but ignoring us. The place pretty much emptied out and still no service. We had enough and got up and left. We talked to some people that were leaving too and they said it took 2.5 hours to eat. They have been open for awhile now and they should have had their service straightened out. Travel to Owensboro periodically and for the longest period they dod not have a local craft brewery in the age of local craft breweries. Searched my Untappd app again on this trip and found The Brew Bridge. Very cool location but I can tell they are still new. I had 2 flights plus 1 beer and can honestly say all of them were great. If there was an option for absolutely no stars, that's what I would have selected. Unfortunately, I was forced to give at least 1 star. We came in with high hopes. We have heard great things about it and wanted to check it out. Our experience at Brew Bridge was nothing short of awful. When we came in, we were told to seat ourselves, which is completely fine. We made our way to the table and waited 25 minutes before being greeted. The restaurant was busy, so we attempted to be understanding. When we were finally served, we went ahead and placed an appetizer order as we perused the menu. It wasn't until we asked for our order to be taken that we received further service. As the appetizers came out, the cheese on the nachos was still refrigerated temperature to where you could see the individual shreds of cheese. We asked for it to be remade, and to their credit, it was remade and came out hot. Then for the main dish, two of the dishes came out 15 min before the others, which gave me plenty of time to reconsider paying more than my hourly wage for food that has thus far been terrible. I then proceeded to tell the server to just cancel the rest of the order. To which I was told that the food was "already prepared and I would be charged for it."- blonde girl with butterfly tattoo. All in all, I work in the service food industry and could not imagine providing this experience and expecting to remain in business. At the very least, we left with a hysterically unbelievable story. P.S- The "tossed in sauce" chicken tenders indeed came out with a dry rub in the cup, so be sure to specify or avoid this menu item. read more

Venue was awesome and has a lot of potential once the pandemic is over. This should be a great spot in the fall or spring when weather is nice. Their craft beer is in-drinkable but will hopefully improve with time. They do have another drinks available for purchase. Some people were smoking which is but yard games and such was . Hopefully they'll continue to improve... I think this can be a really cool spot in the future! read more
