The biscuit we got with it was homemade and so delicious. It was warm, buttery, and satisfying. The Patty Melt was a bit dry and desperately needed a sauce. I used ketchup and asked for pickles which helped. The rye bread was surprisingly not dry and grilled nicely with butter. It was definitely a heavy meal but we needed it after a long drive. It's not the kind of place where you'll have an amazing meal but it'll do the job at a super affordable price.

The prices are fair, not as cheap as say Denny's would be, but Stephanie's has the convenience of being close to home and one of the only places with a dining room. Choosing the former proved to be a monumental mistake on my part as the hash had the consistency of jerky after having spent too much time on the grill prior to being served. We sat outside with our dog in the grassy area with picnic tables. We went in to order and the line moved quickly. The entire staff was so friendly and organized. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with an iced mocha, and my daughter had the cinnamon roll with a coffee as well. (Hazelnut and Caramel). There was also a solo musician singing and playing guitar on the lawn, which made for a perfect ambiance. I highly recommend stopping in if you're ever in the area.

The pastries were incredible! The apple brie pastry was perfection with beautifully layered dough and just the right amount of apple.
