Really wanted a calzone so I was aimed here and it was fantastic. I got the brick house and the portion was good enough. The ingredients were stacked and the crust was superb. This is a sport bar situation so the hopes were not that high but it's hard to mess up Italian food. It was not crisp nor a good dough. It was flat like a thick tortilla. The pizza sauce also lacked serious flavor. The garlic bread was literally 1/4 piece of hot dog bun. Great food & great service! When we were visited, there was only one server working the entire restaurant- it wasn't busy so that was good and the hostess helped out too! The hostess was so friendly, funny, and gave genuine conversation. The server was very kind as well. It was our first time, I would absolutely go back! The only thing I would say is the wrap didn't have a lot of sauce so I would ask for extra next time! This was our first not great experience at the Brick after multiple years of great experiences. We went this past Friday for an early dinner. Side salad was great as always. My husband ordered a Greek salad with grilled buffalo chicken it took a long time to come out. Bring a diabetic he was not in the best of moods because his blood was low. Our waitress did let us know that the kitchen was training a bunch of new staff and was backed up. That was fine and even though hubby was upset and hungry when he got his salad it was good but missing the chicken which one of the new kitchen staff brought out later and apologized for being new. We also ordered a Large create your own pizza which was supposed to be 16 inches but was NOT. See I order this pizza all the time and know exactly what it is supposed to look like. It was 12 inches and burned to a crisp on the bottom. We were not given any plate to eat the pizza off so I literally had to eat my half of the pizza off the pizza pan hanging over it so as not to drop the tops all over my lap. We were charged for the full 16 inch pizza and not the smaller one we actually got. I did not say anything about the size of the pizza to our waitress when she brought it out since my husband was short with our waitress about waiting so long for his food. Just was a very disappointing experience absolutely not what we have ever experienced in the years we have been coming to the Brick which has always been one of our most favorite places to eat. We will come back and hope that this was just the new staff training. Just letting you know what happened. Other than no plates to eat off of our waitress was very nice and kind and tried to explain what was going on in the kitchen. I never told her our pizza was not right and was burnt all over the bottom because she seemed upset my husband was upset that his salad took so long to come. read more

Our party of four arrived at 3:30 pm. The waitress was prompt to take our beverage order and returned with everyone's drinks. We each laced our order. My husband ordered a Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza, my daughter ordered the triple cheese tortellini and chicken, my son ordered a Cheese Pizza and I ordered a Classic, the Lasagna. We ordered the stuffed cheese and spinach bread sticks as an appetizer. Approximately 20 minutes later the waitress served our orders. The appetizer came out with the meal . The waitress messed up my son's order, instead of a Cheese Pizza as he ordered he received a large pepperoni pizza. He picked the pepperoni off the Izzy and tried eating it before the waitress came back to check on our food. The three cheese tortellini and chicken my daughter order was not something she could it. The tomato sauce was a buffalo sauce and was to spicy for her. The menu did not mention there spicy sauce. My lasagna was good. It was not the best lasagna I have ever had but it was definitely satisfying. My husband's Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza was ok, however; he said the pizza did not have much pizza sauce on it. The waitress took my daughter's dish bake to the kitchen and brought her a replacement dish of Penne Pasta with Alfredo Sauce. The stuffed cheese and spinach bread sticks was very good. Overall, our dinner was so-so. Our dinner was $85 before the tip, this included three cokes and a glass of water, with tip this $100 meal was not worth the price. Both my husband and son agreed that a $6.00 Dominos pizza was much better. I do not believe we will go back anytime in the near future. Hopefully the service will improve. read more

I was looking forward to our visit to the Brick, but unfortunately I didn't enjoy it as much as anticipated. The volume in the restaurant on a Thursday night was quite loud, and the DJ equipment appeared to be malfunctioning - it had an electric short somewhere, and it sounded something like it was shooting off gunfire every few minutes. It was quite startling. We ordered a large pizza, which had way too much cheese, so much that the crust did not fully cook through. There's nothing worse with pizza than lots of gooey cheese on a non-supportive crust. Service was fine and iced tea was decent, but the overall experience was unimpressive. Next time we're in town, I'll likely look for another option. read more

Went in for Wed wing special. Wings were tiny, like Sparrow wings. one tiny tiny celery like a toothpick and one small blue cheese not enough for more than a couple wings and were an extra charge. This is my 3rd time, thought maybe each time would be different. Each time I ordered the same beer, the prices were different. Asked the waitress the price and was told since it was before 7pm, beer prices were half off. Bill came and no discount. Bartender stated that waitress was wrong, yet I saw her go to the bartender and ask the price. 2nd time I asked Bartender before ordering drinks and he stated half off, bill came and he said he was wrong it was only 2 dollars off. 3rd time I came (l live close) and was told by waitress and bartender that beers were on happy hour specials, 2bucks off...then bill came and was told that they did not have happy hour prices for beer anymore, that they did not know. Mgr changed bill when I complained however it appears to be a continuing effort to see if they can get away with charging higher prices. Not going again! read more

The service is usually good but if you come in within an hour of closing it is going to be spotty because everyone is already doing their closing prep work, so just know you may need to track someone down if you need something (or just sit at the bar). I love this establishment and the pizza is delicious, however when I order a pepperoni pizza, I expect pepperoni. It shouldn't be two bites then you're left with a plain pizza. I'm not sure what was going on in the back or anything, but if you look up pepperoni pizzas, you'll notice there are considerably more than 10 pieces on them. Second thing if I paid for anything additional, there should be no problem accommodating me with what I paid for. However, one of the employees was quite rude in providing me extra blue cheese after I purchased 24 wings and paid to have extra. Additionally I was not provided any dressings, so I had to return for them. However, when I returned to my car, I discovered that they had given me ranch rather than blue cheese, so I had to go back in again to inform the guy, and from that point forward, he just had a nasty attitude which should never be the case when it is your job and something as simple as helping customers. However, one lady was kind and simply handed me the two blue cheeses that came with my order, as well as the two extras that I had paid for. Often when I want a light meal or a midday snack, I go somewhere for wings, with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing. Last night, that's what I ordered for dinner at The Brick. It'll be a long time before I do that again. Most immediately obvious, I got only two celery sticks--one very skinny and one that was one-third bruised, brown and very unappetizing. My server did replace them with a more satisfactory serving when I complained. The wings were so puny, I could just about swear they came from pigeons, not chickens. If it's wings you want, there are several much better options in town, and that's where I'll go in the future. On the other hand, I had a Tanqueray and tonic and instead of coming in the usual rocks glass, it was in a tall plastic glass nearly as big as my wife's iced tea. Too much to drink in one sitting.
