I had an absolutely amazing experience at the Bridal Suite, thanks to the owners Leigh and her husband, Larry. I had the pleasure of having Leigh as my consultant as well. She was energetic, easy going, and super sweet, and she listened and was able to understand the vision that I had and what style of dress I was looking for. She helped me into each dress and gave me items like belts and hair pieces that helped compliment each dress. It was my first time bridal dress shopping, and I never thought I would fall in love with a dress that quickly. However, I had plans to go to visit a few other places, and I knew I wanted to sleep on it before I made a dress decision. Leigh was never pushy, which I sincerely appreciated, and was so understanding that I wanted to go home and think about my decision. She knew I loved that dress, and she knew I would come back, which I did, the next morning, and bought it. I love that this is a family-owned business (her husband runs the tuxedo shop next door), and they're both so charming and wonderful to work with. The Bridal Suite in Pensacola, FL is amazing! They have a wide variety of dresses for brides of all sizes, babies, girls, tweens, and a separate mens store. All the associates are all very sweet and attentive. I ended up purchasing a veil here and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt supported. I had to go alone and four people helped me and acted as my family group! The price range is quite expensive as it is a bridal boutique, but the quality is something you can't beat! Was browsing around different bridal stores today looking for a dress, and found this store. I am so happy that I did! I was a walk in, didn't have an appointment, so I knew I may not get much help, and that was fine. But it just so happened that they were able to help me and guide me. The consultant pulled a good amount of dresses for me to try on, helped me in to every single one, and was very informative! She listened to all of my needs, and answered any questions I had. Thanks to all of her help, I found my dream dress today! This is how a bridal fitting should be, but not many are as thorough and helpful these days. staff is amazing. my dress was gorgeous, but I would suggest getting alterations done elsewhere. I paid a few hundred dollars in alterations, and then had to take my dress to my alterations lady and she had to cut the straps that had been sewn up and take out the the stitching that was done on the bra pads. My alterations lady also fixed the bustle because it was still dragging. That was an additional couple hundred dollars. Maybe that was just my experience. I would still go back and buy another dress from this place in a heart beat because I loved the staff so much. read more

My experience from the bridal suite was......okay. My first interaction with them was great and I ended up buying my dress from them in June. The staff is friendly and was very helpful in assisting me when trying on dresses and what not. So the first issue I had was the dress sizing. When I was measured, I was advised to order a size 18 based off of the sizing chart. I am not a big girl, I wear a size 10 in pants but I understood that formal dresses can run on the smaller side. I had to pay an extra $100 for my dress because at size 18 and above needs extra fabric I guess. I do not think I was measured correctly because when the dress arrived, it was HUGE! (I am the same size I was when I ordered the dress) I went to get it altered and had to pay $350 to reshape the whole dress, it had to be taken in 4 dress sizes. It would have only cost $150 in alterations if the dress fit properly. I think that is a sign of incompetence if you are not able to have brides fitted appropriately. Second issue, I was told my dress would arrive in December. But by the end of December would be living in California. December comes and I do not get a call for an update or anything. I called them on 2 separate occasions about a week before I left for Cali and a couple weeks after I arrived in Cali. They told me my dress wasn't ready and it could be slow because of the holiday, which is fine but I think an update would be nice instead of me calling to get an update. When my dress arrived at the store I had to get it shipped to California. After the package was shipped off, they couldn't find the tracking number to the dress. I needed that to know the arrival date because I was sending it to friend's house and it needed a signature and they are not always home. I got the tracking number a couple days later but the dress was already set to arrive that day. It was just nerve wrecking because I paid a lot for the dress and it seem careless to lose a tracking number on a $1600 dress! I ended up receiving my dress January 30th (including the shipping time) which left me with 2 months for alterations. They aren't horrible and they have nice dresses but I think my situation is just a series of unfortunate events. read more

I live in Panama City beach. I drove to Pensacola with my bridesmaids after checking out The Bridal Suite on Facebook. We went and found our dresses, Leigh helped us and was great. When I left I looked up my dress color because I had used a piece of the fabric to choose it. It was not the color I wanted. Leigh was the attendant that assisted me during my appointment and she was very friendly, helpful, and listened to the style of gowns that I was interested in. I thought I had found my dream dress from CasaBlanca and she offered suggestions on how I could alter it to be exactly what I wanted. While I did not end up purchasing my gown from this location, I was appreciative of the fact that Leigh contacted the designer to find out if they could alter the dress to what I had in mind. Additionally, the salon carried gorgeous bridesmaid and flower girl dresses that I absolutely loved! Highly disappointed. I used to live in Pensacola, but moved to Pittsburgh last year. Since my wedding is back in Pensacola in May, I chose The Bridal Suite for my bridesmaids dresses since they're the local venue who has Alfred Angelo in stock. I called a MONTH ago, looking for a specific dress I really loved, trying to keep money local in the community I grew up in. I finally today get a phone call from them, stating that the dress was finally in to try on. My original phone call wasn't even about the availability of the dress, just IF they were going to get it in at some point. I was told that they would call me back the day I called them a month ago. I had to scurry to find another dress at a chain store for my bridesmaids to try on. If you're a bride, beware the service may not be the greatest when it comes to your bridesmaids. read more

Came to Pensacola to look for bridesmaid dresses for my girls. I needed 8 total. Standing around for a while without anyone helping I decided to walk up to someone and ask for help. The lady sent me to the dressing room with a couple dresses to try on and that was the last time I seen her! No help from anyone!!!! If it could give more stars I would. These ladies are family from the moment you meet them and are a pleasure to work with. Business is always booming in the store, but they still give you such a personalized experience and make you feel like you are the only one they have to help. Maureen is an absolute peach! She personally found "my dress" based on my multiple pictures and descriptions (while I just skipped over it the first time). I even questioned it as I was trying it on and as I was zipped into I immediately cried tears of joy (totally that girl who says crying over a dress is stupid, but it was like wedding magic) Leave it to the professionals to know what works and what doesn't. Not only did they help me with my dress and bridesmaids dresses for my Disney wedding, but they stepped up big time for my sister in laws wedding who was involved in the Alfred angelo fiasco. They totally saved her wedding and ended up picking out even better dresses and offering an awesome discount and waved the rush fee even though the dresses were not all bought from them originally. Such a professional and fun atmosphere! I have been to all of the wedding shops in pcola, and this by far surpasses them all in every way imaginable!!! My mother in law who has pretty high standards fell in love with them just by talking to Diedra on the phone. All the ladies are just wonderful!!!!! please save yourself the heartache! they are rude, not helpful, and once they have your money they are thru with you! i ordered a beautiful wedding dress in size 2. they said it would be in in time for my wedding. it took 5 months to get it in! once it came in my wedding date was only 2 months away! they said i had to change the date of my wedding because it would take 3 months to get it hemmed by their "seamstress" who is just someone they hire on the side who takes it home and does whatever with your expensive dress. they charged me $500 to hem a dress! so i changed the date of my wedding to accommodate their time line. when the dress came back 4 months later it was destroyed! in every sense of the word! 3 inches too short. they cut the beautiful lace off 3 inches too short! wadded the rest and crudely stitched the rest on top of each other in a mess of lace and thread. the under slip of satin was cut even shorter and bunched up unevenly, snagged as if it had been raked over a fence!. the dress was butchered! my wedding day is ruined! my wedding is in a few weeks and i have no dress.! have been planning this wedding for 2 years and maureen at the bridal suite refuses to make it right. all i asked was for my money back and she refuses! i am in tears and am thinking of calling off my so carefully planned wedding and just going to court house to get married. i wish i had someone to help me get this woman to make this right... read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! They will say anything to get your money. Over the summer, I flew from the Midwest to Florida to get my dress. They promised me I would receive my dress at the very beginning of September. I received my dress in October. I'm getting married at the beginning of November. This is a huge problem because they sent the wrong color, and now there is no time for them to fix the situation. They literally said there wasn't anything they could do. They wouldn't even give a partial refund. We now have to spend over $1000 to change most of the wedding essentials such as shoes, veil, grooms tux, etc to match the new color. I paid several hundred dollars for custom fitting. When I received my dress, it was so big that the top couldn't stay up on its own, amongst other problems. They said that was normal. How is that normal?? I understand that minor adjustments may have been necessary, but the second seamstress (who has over 30 years experience) was in complete shock. She said it was one of the worst sizings she has ever witnessed. We tried contacting The Bridal Suite for weeks, and they called us liars, saying they never received any phone calls. It was always the same story: "the manager is in a meeting, so we'll call back". When we finally got a hold of them, they called me a liar, saying I didn't know what I was talking about. I took pictures of the dress at their store proving the color I wanted. They said they never had the color of the dress I wanted EVEN THOUGH THEIR WEBSITE SAID IT WAS AVAILABLE! They belittled me over the phone, and made me feel like I was doing something wrong. As the bride, I'm devastated. My wedding is supposed to be the best day of my life, and instead I have to make due with something I didn't want. It's a nightmare. From a bride's heart to all the other brides out there, you deserve better. Please, please, please don't compromise your dream. You will regret this decision. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! read more
