I had a good time trying on dresses and I found my dress even though I didn't expect to find it on the first trip shopping for dresses. I showed Kate the types of dresses I liked and she found my dress, which I know I wouldn't have picked myself looking at it hanging up. I had the best experience here!! So welcoming right from the start - Kate helped us. She was so great and asked me what I was and was not looking for. She brought dresses to me that we all amazing and fit what I was looking for and fit my body. She made me feel so comfortable and made it so fun. There were a couple of things with the dress I loved that I wanted to add and Kim came right over and explained how she could do it and pinned in a piece for me to see it. They had, by far, the best customer service of all bridal boutiques we'd visited. Would recommend 110%!! read more

Brides World was a pleasure to deal with when searching for my gown! DeAnn and her mother are incredibly accommodating and helpful. They both have years of experience in the bridal market and offer very good input. I got better service here than any store I went to in the Cleveland and Columbus area. read more

I had a terrible experience with The Bride's World and will not recommend this shop to anyone nor ever step foot into there again. I called to have my dress pressed since it was a local shop and easier the week of the wedding. I was quoted one price and told to drop off the monday before my wedding after they examined my dress in person. I came in to drop off my dress and was told my dress would cost double to press. The owner was rude to me but did say she would do the job and would part steam/part press the dress for the initial amount I was quoted. I was within days of my wedding and had no other place to take my dress at this point. I received a call the next day and was told the dress was completed. It looks just as wrinkled as the day I brought it in. The owner only steamed the dress and lied to me regarding what she was going to do. I am terribly upset with the the treatment and service and hope I can prevent another bride from the same issue. read more

Lovely establishment to work with. I am from Cleveland and had been to almost every dres shop in the Cleveland area and just couldn't find that right dress. Decided to stop here on our way to Port Clinton. My consultant was Kim and she was wonderful. Very helpful, never made me feel rushed, didn't pressure me into any dress. Very small family owned business & very helpful. Would definitely recommend. And yes I did end up buying my dress from here! read more

Ladies, beware of Kim the dress destroyer. I picked out the perfect dress, and even paid extra for rush cut and shipping due to timing of the wedding. The dress came way too small due to being measured incorrectly, buttons were popping off of the back before I even tried it on, and I only had a few weeks until the wedding. Kim assured me that she had enough to work with to let out so that I could breath in the dress. Unfortunately, that was not the case. She mangled the dress knowingly, sent me home with 25 crooked buttons and a hole in the lace in the back which I could not see until I got home. She also sent me home with a horrifically put together shawl which she admitted she forgot to make until the day I came to pick up the dress. The owner had me come back in to look at the dress and tried to help me find another dress which would need alterations immediately since I had one week until wedding day. I happened to find a dress off the rack over the weekend, but DeAnn had already started the alterations on the other dress and The owner said that I would have to take one of them because now they had two dresses for me and would not give me a refund. 100% NOT my fault, but Brides World and the manufacturer's fault. To make matters worse, Kim lied about the manufacturer overnighting new lace and buttons, she cut them off of another dress in the shop. I appreciate the work that DeAnn did to get me into another dress ASAP, but I ultimately did not wear the dress the day of the wedding because it matched one of the bride's maids dresses and the shawl was awful even though she pressed it for me and tried to fix it up. Long story short, I paid a hefty price for a dress that I did not get. I was never offered any monetary difference. I am sure that the second dress was not the same price as the first dress with or without alterations, and I traveled over an hour back and forth seven times taking up time that I needed for wedding preparations. read more

VERY poor service. We ended up needing 14 tuxes for our wedding and going through the fitting stages were fine. Unfortunately, come the day of the wedding, the majority of the tuxes did not fit our men. And when I mean didn't fit, I mean high-waders, rips in ties, stains on slacks, holes, etc. Even our poor little ring bearer's vest was so tight he had to suck in his little belly all day! Of course, when some of us called, they somehow turned the blame around on us (didn't have time to bicker at that point though). They didn't offer any money back for the hassle, which would have definitely been the only forgiving way. The most frustrating part was that we weren't able to get many important pictures before the wedding on our beautiful day because we were too busy trading pants, sewing holes in not-so-pleasant areas, and worrying about things we shouldn't have had to worry about. Looking back, that is the most disappointing part of the entire situation. I don't usually write reviews, but although our wedding day still turned out perfect, many of the men in our wedding were not comfortable at all and embarrassed with how their tuxes (didn't) fit thanks to Tux World. read more
