God's presence is truly felt here, and we are grateful to call this our church home. Although I wasn't attending this church during the COVID-19 pandemic, I know there is a live YouTube stream available at 11 AM on Sundays. Due to a past surgery that removed my spleen, I'm considered "high risk," and I did contract COVID-19, but thankfully, I recovered well. "Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" - Matthew 6:27 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" - Proverbs 3:5 The Nehushtan was a metal serpent mounted on a staff that Moses had made, by God's command, to cure the Israelites of snake bites while wandering in the desert. There is no medical explanation it is just God watching over his sheep. I believe the Serpent on the Staff represents the staff Moses through in front of the Pharaoh that turned into a snake... God turned wood... into a living reptile... I don't think I will ever understand that.

We attended River West Church with our three small children for 3 weeks now. Honest review: Its a new age social club sprinkled with some christian doctrine. I will not be attending again and our hunt for a bible teaching spirit filled church continues. Sad to see how off from bible teaching church's have come. They quote famous theologians and even atheists and new wicked film. Broken and Sick people do not need anything from you. Just Jesus. Praying the Lord comes back and judges these teachers.

River West spearheads several ministries that are there for the people that are served by those ministries not just for the people serving in those ministries. The strength of community, biblical truth and spiritual sensitivity is the bedrock of strong christian fellowship, River West is a blueprint for such avenues. They are guided by prayer, founded in scripture and centered on Christ.

We always feel welcome. Pastor Kip & Jeff are amazing. When our daughter was sick our Southlake family was a great support. The youth program was great for my children especially the middle school. My older 2 kids were both baptized their choice at Southlake. We recently moved and one of hardest parts was leaving this church.
