This church is the reason I no longer go to church, I feel like I'll never be accepted or welcomed into another place of faith. They don't allow children's to just be children, they expect them to sit and listen when they have no idea what is happening anyway. I think they need to work on their people skills and make people who feel like outsiders a little more comfortable and welcome.

It's support for the addicted, battered, the wayward, young adults as well as those who work in supportive roles in the community is beyond what can be believed. During this time I came to this church in desperate need, begging for help, my lights got shut off which turned my security cameras off and had my kids and 73 yr old dad in the cold at home. I'm worried, lost, frightened and when I arrived Dorothy just handed me a paper and after filling it out she just handed me a card and said they will call me at the end of the day. I tried to explain my urgent situation while tears are running down my face and show proof of the intensity of the domestic violence situation but she didn't care to see it or listen. I asked if I can sit in my car and wait and she said "no we will call you" . Later that day...no call. The next morning..no call so I called at 11 am to check to see if I got approved for assistance and she asked multiple questions of "why I came to them instead of other places and how did I hear about them and why didn't I go to any other organizations". I explained how I drove around ALL day looking for organizations to help with no luck and social services couldn't help because my income was too high but I recently no longer have income because of the domestic violence situation and I have a man out looking to kill me and my kids, So I just need help this one time please I beg, I need my electricity on so my kids can get warm and my security cameras can turn on so I can watch my cameras, your my last option!." (To turn them on I needed 330.00) . The domestic violence harbor house said they have no assistance or shelter, no shelter I called had any room available. What am I to do?? Your my last option...She said she will call me back . 10 mins later I get a call and she states " we can't help you" at that moment I break down in tears , and she listens a bit to my cry as I fumble with words trying to speak, she then said..." ok bye" and hangs up in my face . No encouragement, no prayer, no comfort." I'm lost for words. I'm now sitting at home loosing faith.

If that's the "vibe" you're looking for, St Ann might be for you. The homily is generally thoughtful and challenging though. It's a shame it could not be wrapped in a reverent mass. My lasting memory of St Ann's is the pastor coming out before mass after Pope Francis mentioning it's ok to bless gay couples, to firmly instruct the laity that Pope Francis actually didn't say he was blessing gay couples. It was an Orwellian moment. I chose another parish with a longer drive in order to find a reverent mass.

Visited this church a few times while visiting some friends who are patrons…read more I would classify this Church as very modern. The main room can seat well into the hundreds, maybe even thousands. The room also has a large stage with professional sound and lighting equipment. They can really put on a show. The mass was very engaging and upbeat, I really enjoyed it. The members are very talented. The property is very large with plenty of available lawn to hold their annual "Fall Fest" festival. As well as two nice size parking lots. They also have a children's play area, where members of the congregation sometime meet for play dates. They offer child care for young children during mass, at no charge. This department is run by a very responsible, smart, and wonderful girl, Britney. Visited this church as a guest. My bff lives near by & attends this church so she asked us to join…read moreher and her family for sunday service during our visit. Lots of parking. Its in a complex, so even with the large sunday crowd, parking isn't a problem. We arrived and were greeted at the door. My daughter was going to there daycare during service so we had to register her. Gave her full name and birthday, received 3 name tags, one for my daughter to wear, one for her bag, and one for us (we needed the number on it assigned to my daughter in case they needed us during the service, it would show on the projection screen). Very organized, youth was running the registration table very well. My bff's daughters Britney happen to been running the daycare that sunday, this is a bonus for me, on top of being so good with children, she is like a cousin to my daughter so i was #winning! The crowd:: everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Large crowd, everyone working hard to keep things organized! The choir:: not a big choir, but definitely big on talent! They filled the room with faith! You could feel the message they were delivering! Loved the choir, thought they sang beautifully! The pastor:: Very cool dude, relatable and great sense of humor! His message was awesome. I hear he used to be the youth pastor, looks like he's doing a great job! The place: I would say this is a pretty large church, lots of seating, nice size stage, projection screen and performance lighting on the ceiling. I hear they have a great fall festival!
