I was looking for a brow place near my job. I wasn't pleased with the place I was going to for threading. I saw pictures of Janeida's work and was sold. I texted her to be sure of her location and she responded promptly. The Brow Girl works by appointment only. I found this to be very convenient especially since I am always pressed for time. I scheduled an appointment online and headed there. I was a bit skeptical only because I am very particular about my brows. I pulled up to the salon suite. When I walked in, I was very impressed by the cleanliness and the decor. It was very inviting. Janeida was with another client but I only waited for maybe 5 minutes. I was about 5 minutes early anyway. Her suite was very elegant and pristine. I was glad that I took the step to check her out. Janeida was very personable and engaging. Have you ever planned to try something once but wasn't really expecting much? Well I keep coming back! The first time I came here I just wanted my eyebrows to be tamed and from there I was going to maintain them..... but Janeida does such a great job that I keep coming back! I first did the the Precision Brow Shaping which cost $20 for 15 minutes and she did a complimentary tint which I fell in love with so I came back to get the Brow Shape + Henna Brow/Tint which cost $40 for 45 minutes. I had a few not so filled in spots towards the ends of my brows and after a few weeks my brows looked SUPER hairy/thick in spots that looked bald before. So I definitely would recommend the Henna Tint if you are trying to grow your brows out. The only downside in my opinion is afterwards they are VERY VERY thick but the next day it fades a little so they look more natural. It is very easy to make an appointment by going to her website. You can choose your service and the day and time. And not only is she great at what she does but she is very personable and just a great person all around! read more

Janeida is the best! I first met her a few years ago at another brow studio and haven't let anyone else touch my brows since then. She's not only the best, she's also super fast. Janeida is so good at her craft that she doesn't need to spend 15 minutes painfully tweezing because she gets it right the first time. I prefer a hybrid of waxing and threading, so the tweezers rarely ever come out. Not only is she awesome at brows, she is also a super positive and uplifting person to be around. I'm usually disappointed that my brows are done so quickly because I just want to lie there in the chair and talk to her longer...and trust me - I'm not a talker. I switch nail salons when they get to know me too well because I hate unnecessary chatter. Janeida isn't like that. She just has a way of making your brows look awesome and making you feel awesome all over when you're in her studio. So impressed! I have always struggled with my eyebrows because they are so thick and grow wildly. I'm not good at filling them in and I feel like (before brow girl) every time I get them done they are uneven and I'm just not happy with them. That all changed when I visited "The Brow Girl". First off let me start off by saying I loved Janeida!!! She has exceptional customer service skills and makes you feel SO comfortable. The reason I gave 3 stars is for a few reasons. I've been getting my eyebrows and upper lip threaded for about 10 years now, so I'm accustomed to seeing different prices for this service. When living in Johns Creek I was a regular at Stylez located on Medlock Bridge Rd, as they charged $8 for both eyebrows and upper lip. When I lived in San Diego for the past 3 years, I paid $18 for the same service, which I thought was ridiculous, but it was Cali, so I accepted the inflated price. But at Brow Girl, I was astonished when the price was $25 for my brows and lip. Also, of all the places I've been to, they always trim my eyebrow hairs with scissors, and when getting my upper lip done, they thread the hairs underneath my bottom lip. I always assumed this was part of the service, but apparently not, as it was not done by Janeida. I relocated from San Diego 3 weeks ago and am staying with my sister in Buford, so I was hoping to find a local spot so I could save myself a drive to Stylez. But going forward, I rather make the 15 min drive to save myself $17. But again, Janeida was awesome and very personable, and if you're looking for somewhere close and don't care about price, you should swing by! read more
