When I noticed one brow was uneven and asked for a correction, I was told it would cost extra , even though this wasn't mentioned at all during my appointment. If my skin type or bone structure was not suitable for this type of service, I should have been told so when I was there for the technician (Tina Tran) to examine me during the consultation beforehand. I had gotten permanent make-up done before, but never with these results. After visiting the Brow Nanny, 1 brow is way thicker and shorter than the other, there is fading that happened almost immediately after healing. I had followed all aftercare instructions thoroughly, so I should NOT have had this level of fade on only one eyebrow. There is a harsh line on top where she outlined my brow. I told her I did not want square brows and that's what I got anyway. They are wayyyy high off my brow bone and almost sit on top of my forehead. The shape doesn't follow my natural brow bone - which Tina mentioned is uneven anyway. This is why the "cookie cutter" trend isn't suitable for everyone, especially someone in her 40's. Again, I should have been TURNED AWAY, if she didn't have the know-how, as a professional, how to work with brow bone deformities from accidents, defects, etc. But I trusted her in her expertise, as she assured me she's worked on all types and has been trained by "the best" in the business. I trusted she could correct the things I addressed in email, so I continued to have hope for the follow up...at least to fix the fading and round out the corners. When it came time to scheduled "touch up" 6 weeks later, Tina went MIA. I called, left several messages on both her phone and social media, with no response. She still was adding photos of other clients during this time, so I know nothing happened to her. She just completely ignored me. She also failed to take my before/after photos. I now have to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on laser tattoo removal and/or painful saline blasting. She claims the ink fades in 3 years time, but says that's what they tell clients to keep the business in the clear because the pigment "doesn't actually completely fade." Funny, as I have half an eyebrow right now and am stuck with the rest. Her social media images use professional lighting and filters, and she likely showcases her "best work" hence why she didn't offer to take any before/after images or documentation. Tina claims to be trained by the industry's best (The Brow Daddy) but I'm sure he would cringe seeing the mess she left me with. 2 stars for a clean studio and new equipment. read more

I booked an appointment with Brow Nanny a month in advance! Took leave since I am not in the area for the appointment. The day before the appointment I contacted the the owner asking for after care for the procedure to take precautions since I am diabetic. Tina the owner stated that since I was diabetic I would need a doctors note to be able to see me. I stated I might not get a doctors note by the next day which was not possible. She was extremely unprofessional when texting back and forth as to why didn't she specify on her website about these requirements of hers, as to needed a doctors note if you are diabetic. So I tried to ask for my $100 dollar deposit and she said it was less than 24 hour notice I stated that I did not cancel she canceled on me due to the fact I couldn't provide a doctors note which never stated in her website! Then she told me to dispute the transaction with my bank, after disputing the transaction with my bank. She provided fake receipts stating she did render a service when she obviously did not. Not only did a lose a day at work, she canceled my appointment she kept my $100 without providing any service and not canceling on her. Beware of businesses like these that can't seem to run a professional business and now scam customers into keeping their money. read more

Tina is very rude , Carrie's herself in a snobby way and is not good at masking if she's feeling annoyed and it comes off as extremely rude . She ignores clients after work has been done and then tries to make you feel crazy for trying to book appointments. My brows were ok , one brow I've noticed hair isn't growing back in a spot but can see that the ink is super dark in that one spot . She's is very young and successful obviously but her attitude , client treatment , customer service etc is awful . I've never been so baffled by the way someone treated their client and student. The first time I ever had work done was back in 2016. I went to an artist (not Brow Nanny) in Vegas and would continue to go there until March of 2019. The first couple times that the artist did my eyebrows I liked the final results but after the most recent appointments I was disappointed with her work and her lack of communication and interest (again, I am not talking about Brow Nanny). So I decided to find someone local in AZ. I'm very cautious with who does my eyebrows after my last experience so I was determined to find someone AMAZING. It took me 6 months to find Brow Nanny and I could not be any more relieved to have found her. First, I reached out to her to inquire about previous work done on my eyebrows. She responded right away to my message and was extremely professional throughout the entire process. I'm not going to lie when I showed up for my appointment I was nervous about the end result but my expectation were surpassed the minute I walked into her studio. For starters, her studio was very clean and up to date and modern looking. She did a great job setting herself up. Presentation is key.   Before I went to see her, my eyebrows were so bad, I had scarring from the previous micro blading I had done and the previous artist made the end of my eyebrows longer and the shape of them were so uneven. To better explain it, my eyebrows did not match each other at all. Every day I would have to fill one in more than the other to even them out. That artist made one eyebrow taller than the other. Next, Brow Nanny allowed me to voice my concerns about my eyebrows and evaluated the work and provide her professional opinion on how she can correct it (in reasonable time and to the best of her ability) Tina aka Brow Nanny asked me what I wanted for my end goal. Brow Nanny told me it would take multiple sessions to correct my eyebrows (which is understandable) but never did she give me false expectations or lose contact with me.   During the process she took her time correcting the previous work done by the last artiest I saw. Throughout the process she made sure I was comfortable and was very pleasant to talk to. Not once did she rush through the process and she would stop every so often to review her work (which I loved!) Even though she was just fixing her clients eyebrows. I never felt the need to get my eyebrows done until this past year when a friend of mine had hers done by a student of Tina's. After I saw her results, I chose to make an appointment. Tina was very helpful in keeping me calm throughout the entire process by checking to see if I was comfortable. I felt very minimal pain during the process. I found The Brow Nanny on IG while following several other brow artists (The Brow Daddy, Brows By Linnie) and was thrilled to find that she was here in AZ and was very impressed by her IG photos. I scheduled my appointment and let her know that I had had previous brow tattooing over 10 years ago and micro-blading 2 1/2 years ago. She explained that it may take a few sessions to cover up the old work that had been done. She reviewed everything very clearly before, during, and after her work on what to expect. The procedure was nearly painless and she continued to ask if I was okay during the procedure, making sure I wasn't in pain. She's super friendly and makes you feel extremely comfortable. Followup instructions were provided and care was easy as well. Needless to say, she did an absolutely amazing job!!! My previously shaped brows were not the best and a bit too long but she managed to cover the old work and reshaped them beautifully! I returned in 4 weeks for my touch-up appointment where she noted that they had healed nicely, but some of my old tattoo was showing through.
