There were some women in the check out like in front of me who were clearly spending a lot more money than I was, and that resulted in me waiting over 10 minutes to pay because the women behind the counter were chit chatting about their personal lives. I wasn't greeted, I wasn't told "be right with you," and even when I stepped up to the counter to pay neither woman said a word to me. I've never felt so unwelcome in a store before. The clothes are amazing, I only wished the service matched, and that those of us who might only be spending $30 felt welcome as well.

My daughter has struggled with sensory issues her entire life that make certain situations challenging. After finding the perfect dress she was so excited to try it on and show her friends. We struggled in the dressing room because I couldn't figure out how to help her get it on and she ended up stuck at one point. Long story short when we finally got the dress on I couldn't figure out how to lace the back and reached out to the associate for guidance. She flat out refused to help stating "No I don't want to go in there". My daughter was brought to tears and of course the 3 girls refused to buy the dresses they all wanted out of principal. It pains me that in 2026 this is how people treat others with disabilities.

I love their stuff. When I walked in, I noticed that the employees here were not overly friendly right away. It made my mother-in-law feel awkward because they never came over and asked if we needed help. I would have to say they were a little standoffish. She said it made her feel like Julia Roberts in "Pretty Woman". Her words, not mine. Maybe because she was in gym attire? I don't know. It was rather annoying to me. I have been in high end stores and they don't normally act like that. I do enjoy being left alone when I am shopping, and I hate it when they come over every two seconds to see if you needed anything. But at the same time, I feel like you should always greet the customer at least once. Once I grabbed a few things off the rack, I was finally asked if I needed a room. I guess they want to ensure that you may potentially purchase something before they waste their time trying to help you. They must be really busy standing there... Will I come again? Probably not. I live in Longmeadow, and this store would be really convenient for me. We have to dress in business casual at work and I love Ann Taylor, I am also a shopaholic. But I will take my business elsewhere, a place where it isn't such a burden when it comes to helping their customers.

The pieces here are different from another shop I frequent, and I love that. I'm into the mixed look, not matchy-matchy. Just my thing. I've found gorgeous pieces here that I love to use daily and showcase at special occasions. The ladies in the shop (one is the owner but the other was equally knowledgeable about the pottery) were two of the genuinely nicest people I've ever met. So engaging and happy. Loving to share info and knowledge and time. Just lovely, lovely people. There's not only a good selection in the main shop, there's also a "gently loved pottery" shop through the lot. Lots of good things in there, too, and all in great condition! What a nice way to offer a budget-friendly start to one's collection, or to expand on one currently started. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, I haven't been able to be back in-store, but took advantage of an online sale. I got three gorgeous medium plates (7-8"?), and they were shipped quickly and arrived with nary a chip or crack. Looking forward to adding to my collection over time! Thank you, ladies!!
