The interior looks very different now compared to the photos I see here on Yelp, in a good way. More modern-rustic, more boutique-like. Doesn't seem like there are as many varieties of products as seen in older photos, but they still carry soaps, scrubs, bath bombs...the staples. At the mixing bar you can get a custom scented roll-on perfume ($18.50), jars of scrubs (the smaller one i got was $20), and body frosting (sold out when we visited). Unfortunately for me, my favorite scent notes were out of stock so I needed to get creative quickly. I attempted to recreate a holiday scent I get from a small business in Oregon (fir, juniper, lily, grapefruit), using fir, grapefruit, and magnolia. Close but not quite. Still very wearable IMO. The teen chose Plumeria, grapefruit, and honeysuckle and she loves the sweet floral scent so much she keeps reapplying it. For the scrub I chose to stick with a single note, Sea Moss. The Rain scent is also lovely. Next time I may pick that up. The scrub runs on the dry side. This is not a bubbling scrub or creamy scrub, so you'll need to be careful when scooping and applying it. The only issue I had is with the person using bare hands to pack the items. (Or perhaps a hand washing sink facing us) It would have been nice to see her use gloves and a fresh towel or napkin when packing and sealing the body products. Overall this was a great activity and souvenir to bring back from Leavenworth. We will definitely stop by when we vacation there again. read more

I felt compelled to write a review because I simply cannot get enough of this shop and their amazing products. We were vacationing in Leavenworth recently and I had forgotten my moisturizer. A local overheard me saying this and recommended The Bubblery. She said it was the only place she goes for moisturizer / all natural skincare and that the scent was customizable in many of their products. That's all I needed to hear! The shop is absolutely adorable with handmade woodwick candles, goat's milk soaps, scrubs, facial oils, bath bombs, etc. for both men and women, and my favorite - body frosting! You can smell whatever she has in her dropper bottles and have her mix scents to your heart's desire in your batch of moisturizer. She will whip it up right there and have you smell it to adjust the scent to your liking. I am obsessed with "Pink Sugar" but also got a pineapple/coconut mix. A little goes a long way and it is deeply moisturizing without being greasy. My skin loves it. This California girl is a fan for life! Thankfully there is an online store so I don't ever have to be out of it. I fully recommend this shop and can't wait to go back to see what new things she has when we vacation here again. We always stop into the Bubblery on our trips to Leavenworth. A trip here for our son's birthday has become a tradition and we take him to make something each time. Body wash, body lotion, scrubs, bar soaps, etc. Everything smells delicious and I think it's a great place for kids and adults of all ages. This past weekend my son had a body scrub made with lavender, eucalyptus, and spruce. They mix in whatever scents you want and have you smell along the way to add more of anything you want until it's just to right to your liking. As a visitor to Leavenworth, WA, I was approached outside by a woman giving me a really small packet that had a sample of facial peel in it. The woman looked at my face and mentioned something about my eyes, I told her my age and that whatever she thought about my eyes was not likely to change. She tells me she will give me another free packet and to come inside. My husband and I went inside thinking she was giving me another packet (big mistake)! She already had some cream on a q-tip and wants me to sit down so she can put this cream below my eyes. I said I wasn't interested, I needed to check into our hotel. She was high pressure, telling me it will just take a short time, I said once again, I wasn't interested, I have to go. Even my husband couldn't believe the pressure and we both felt the approach about my eyes needed something was somewhat insulting! A man was outside as well, trying to get people to come in by yelling at them. He was also smoking outside the store earlier on the sidewalk, so when we first walked by, the smoke was directly next to us on that sidewalk; go out back for a smoke! The next day, we were in the vicinity of The Bubblery again, but we purposely crossed the street to avoid all of this for a second time. The same man was shouting at us across the street!! If you want customers, this is not the way to do it!! We weren't the only people avoiding him and ignoring him. A gentler approach will go much further! read more

Love this shop! We visit every time we are in Leavenworth. My daughter and I always find soap, scrubs and bath bombs that smell wonderful. My favorites are the coffee scrub and cupcake bombs. This visit she had beautiful lavender soap sitting out and when I asked if they had other items in lavender scent she offered to custom make lotion and scrub. How great is that? So happy I found this place on yelp! I probably wouldn't have found it otherwise as you can't see the store from the street. I love that they make sugar scrubs or lotions right on the spot in whatever fragrance you want. Oftentimes I steer clear of soap stores because the scents are so strong that they give me a headache. I was able to request a milder version of a soap I liked in store for my sugar scrub and lotion. They had a good selection for "men's soaps" that my husband was pleased with. This is the most special hidden gem of a shop in Leavenworth. The shop owner is amazing and you can tell how passionate she is about every product she creates. The shop is a magical place, tucked away in the Obertal Mall you have to search it out a bit but it's so worth it. They can make you almost anything you want. From body frosting, perfumes, bath scrubs and salts- you can pick your own scents and have them mix it up right there. They make all their products in the shop and everything is all natural. I know some people comment on the smell being strong haha but it's a shop full of essential oils so it's a bit like going in a coffee shop and complaining that it smells like coffee . They can make your products as strong or as mild scented as you want so it's really neat. My husband is now addicted to his beard oil and his soap and my son now doesn't complain to take baths because we use a bath fizzy which he thinks is so much fun and I don't have to worry about what's in it. This place is not only super cute but it has amazing products! I stopped in around early April and picked up the sugar scrub. I got Vanilla Chai and not only did the scent provide a mood lift it also made my skin super soft! It was gentle enough to use daily and I did just that. After I ran out I wasn't able to make it in person so I was truly greatful that I could order online. This time I stocked up on Vanilla Chai mixed with Strawberry and a Lovespell. Both were great. We happened upon this place exploring and it's tiny and cute. I loved the little setup these ladies have. I bought a couple of soaps and a bath bomb for myself and as gifts for family. The wonderful part was that my boyfriend found a soup in more of "manly scented" soap section. We asked if they could re-create the smell in the beard oil they offer. Walked in by chance today and very glad I did! I didn't buy much and took a long time milling around the store smelling all of the soaps, but the woman working was so helpful, patient, and friendly. She ended up helping me create a lotion that smelled so good! It was bergamot, eucalyptus, and lavender and was reasonably priced and feels so soft and wonderful. I also bought a soap bar with the Spirit Spa scent and haven't used it yet but it smells great. I liked that they had soap samples also and that you can order online and customize your own scents because I can never seem to find scented products I like. I visited leavenworth for the first time. I have been here in washington most of my life. It was very nice. I stop in this small shop just to see if they had lotions. Stopped in this afternoon after hearing some people in town talk about this place. I had a wonderful experience! All of their products smelled wonderful. I was very happy to find that I could get any of the bar soap scents in a lotion or perfume (they'll also help you customize your own scent). Found The Bubblery store when I was visiting Leavenworth. I don't use perfumed things, but fell in love with the Cupcake & Vanilla lotion that they mixed for me while I was there. I've reordered, including soaps too, which I love. Nothing I've ordered there are overpowering. My favorite gentle scents are: cupcake, vanilla, and almond. Their containers are large and filled to the very top. The shipping is flat rate, no matter how much you order. The value is very good. Their body frosting (hand cream) is wonderful. This was my first time in this shop, though we have been in Leavenworth many times. I'm not a hand cream fan, I hate the stuff, it's slimy, gooey, watery, oily, disgusting no matter how high of quality or what version - lotion, cream, butter - I've tried, and I was going back and forth in my mind; could I actually go a winter without it, though my hands were a bit chapped. Just hoping warmer weather would arrive and the chafing would be relieved for a while. Maybe it was the good scents and cute shop with friendly, helpful people that drew me in. I'm asked, would I like to sample some hand cream? (aka body frosting if you order some) Sure, it's colder in Leavenworth than I'm used to, so why not? She puts some on with a spatula and I rub it around, and I'm immediately aware it's different. I can't believe my good luck! No chapped hands and none of the evils of hand cream. Crazy good, plus I get to choose scents. I chose lavender, cedar wood and ylang ylang from an array of amber essential oil bottles. Every day I use body frosting now and I love it!
