I left a message, about an hour an a half later some very rude man calls and yells into my ear "DID YOU CALL HERE!", I replied "if this is in response to a voicemail I left you and this is the Goose Nest bar, yes I did call" He yelled once again "WELL YOU COMING IN OR WHAT!?!" I calmly replied "Not anymore, thank you." Your results may vary. We spoke of this to other bar patrons and bar owners, they said that's pretty much "par for the course" with the owner of that bar.

The young man who brought it out was the only staff the was friendly and helpful and courteous. Inside staff was too busy catering to the bar clientele. As for the food it was very good. Husband had a brat burger which he said was very flavorful. I ordered their philly cheesesteak tots and I enjoyed every bite! The food and drinks are very cheap but the food (Burgers, wings, pizza and various fried foods) are very good. The owner and sole employee is very friendly and loves to play bar games with the customers. He accepts CASH ONLY as this is a old-fashioned small bar in a small town. There are approximately 20 barstools, 3 tables, a jukebox (accessible through The AMI app) and a pool table. Street parking is available along with a parking lot in the back. .

I loved Bridge Up Brewing even before I tasted their beer. This is a little local Wisconsin brewery located on the basement-level of the building that houses Sonny's Italian Kitchen. When you walk into the lobby, instead of walking up the steps to Sonny's, take the ramp down below to Bridge Up and enjoy a beer or a flight of beers. They have a small menu of appetizers, mostly wings and fried things, but if you want a full meal, you should probably go upstairs to Sonny's. I didn't want a full meal, so I stayed at Bridge Up and ordered a flight of beers. One of them was a sour (I love sours), and the others were some of the more popular beer flavors. I picked the U-Pick, which is a flavored with Door County cherries, and was one of my favorites. The others were the higher ABV beers: Flip Flops and Bikini Tops (an imperial IPA) and Stubborn Sturgeon (a New England hazy IPA). I loved all of the beers I chose, but the cherry-flavored U-Pick was my favorite. When in Door County, always choose the cherry-flavored thing! If Bridge Up has U-Pick available when you visit, I highly suggest trying it. The people who work here are very friendly but also stay out of your way, which I appreciated. They encourage you to play something on the jukebox, so go ahead and put on your favorite songs.
