For a brief moment this was one of my favorite restaurants. However my last visit was so disappointing. We ordered the lobster bisque soup. It was so horrible with no taste of lobster. Geez. The prices now seemly have greatly increased. I so appreciate this family run place, but please understand your market and don't let quality slip. read more

The bar has a wonderful selection of beers and the whiskey old fashioned was delightful. Dinner was served by our friendly waitress. Food was top notch with a great portion size. The bacon salad dressing was delicious. read more

I visited here with a group of 6 people. Although the food was delicious and menu was varied, there were some big issues with the service. We made a reservation for 7pm. When we arrived, nobody greeted us, so we went past the bar and over to the area with a sign that said Please Wait to be Seated and poked our head around the corner to see if there was anyone to help us. The bartender barked at us something to the effect of "You can't go in there"...to which we replied, we have a reservation for 7pm. She checked her list and said "you can sit here and wait for your server" and pointed to a table with 4 chairs next to the bar. We were a group of 6. Right behind us a group of 6 others were seated next to us waiting for their table too. One of us was left standing and waiting. After about 10 minutes, someone came over and gave us menus and said they could take our drink order. I asked if we were going to be seated at our table in the restaurant portion and she said yes, but we're running a bit behind so we will take your drink order here. A few minutes later someone came and took our drink order, then asked if we wanted to order our food. I looked at her confused and asked again if we could be seated at our table rather than here at the bar. She said "that's how we do it, we take your drink order and food order here." So we looked at the menu and she said she would return shortly. 15 minutes later, we were still waiting. I went to the bar and asked if we could order, it was 7:35 and we still had not been seated at our table. Our server came over, took our order at the bar table, then walked us to our table. It was a LONG wait. There were plenty of empty tables when we got in to the restaurant portion, so we were confused about why it had taken so long. There were only two other tables being served. On the table was a small relish plate, along with 4 plates for us put the food on. Then came the bread basket. There were 2 pitchers of water on the table and no water glasses. I asked someone who was setting up other tables for 6 water glasses and two more plates for bread. She looked confused, and brought over 2 bowls. I asked again for water glasses and plates for the 2 of us that didn't have any plates. A server brought those a few minutes later. At about 7:50. Again, our reservation was for 7pm. Around 8:15 the food finally came. And it was delicious. The only issue was that the appetizers came out after the entrees, which could have been because two of our party ordered appetizers for their meals, so I can't really blame them for trying to time the apps with the entrees. But it was a long wait for them to come to the table. After we were served the food, everything else we needed, we had to ask for. For example, we wanted more wine. We had to flag down the wait staff--there was no checking in after food arrived. Another member of our party wanted another beer. He tried to flag down a waitress, and was unable to get her attention. He went to the bar and it was busy, so he came back to the table and we finally got our waitress' attention to order it. For the prices of the food, we expected much better table service. We spoke to some of the wait staff during the evening and everyone was was friendly and kind, but we were left very confused about the long wait for the table and the lack of communication about how things worked there. Overall, we loved the food and the ambience, but felt they need to work on communicating and checking in better with the diners. read more

Wow. I grew up in a supper club as my grandparents owned one. This took me back in time but at the same time was a fun modern twist. Staff extremely friendly. Service was quick. So many good classics on the menu mixed with modern options like poke bowls. I ordered the blue gill and everything on the plate was perfection. Lightly battered fish paired with rich tater sauce. The chips were fresh from the fryer with the caramelized onion dip. The one thing I was really impressed with was the bread. Most places give you limp sad rye bread. Not this place that bread was delicious and light/airy. I will be back and will bring my friends! read more

I love this place. Everything is a notch above. Owner operated. Very cool vibe and cool people running it. The food has been excellent and I've eaten here now four or five times. Great old fashions! Made how you like them and hand muddled. Interesting decor and great background music. The menu is interesting and changes. I've had fantastic ribs here and great seafood. Next time I'll try a steak. The ones I've seen look great. They can handle large groups (provide notice). Oh and great lobster bisque! read more

Absolutely worth going here whether you are local or quest from afar, top shelf quality food that is sure to impress no matter what you order and friendly service. Good portions, the food is presented so fancy and there is good variety in the menu of REAL FOOD not just the same old stuff you find at most places. Healthy options. Casual or formal, magical mix of both for atmosphere. Great drinks, reasonable prices, close proximity to the majestic shoreline of Lake Michigan. A gem in Kewaunee Went here with my wife and son Fri. Food is excellent! Service top notch! Staff extremely friendly. Fine dining in Kewaunee. Go figure. Be trying new restaurants in search of something special. Finally found it in the Wildflower! Menu is a good selection of fine dining such as Ahi Tuna, Grilled Salmon, as well as a nice selection of Steaks and the usual local favs like perch and burgers. Everything is fresh and homemade. It was a truly enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommend! Will definitely return!! read more

Dined here for the first time last Friday. Wow. We had a fish fry and our socks were blown off! The mahi mahi was cooked to perfection. The cheesy mash potatoes were excellent. The poor man's cod was wonderfully seasoned. The coleslaw was the best I've ever had in my life. We had cocktails too. Gin and Tonic was good. Ciders too. We bought a bottle of Cooper and Thief before leaving, wowza, best red blend wine we've ever had. We are coming back!!! This place is a gem. When we got there, we werent certain in there was a waiting list or what. The bar was practically full of drinkers. And only a couple diners in the back room. We asked if we could be seated. They wanted to keep up at the bar instead of seating us immediately, to buy bar drinks. We were told this, such honesty won us over. We told the tender we'd be buying drinks lol. Which we did and they were The dining area is very attractive with a pretty tin like ceiling. This area is separate from the bar. Very comfortable. read more

I had the Smoked Prime Rib and it was the best I have ever tasted! As usual, the service was exceptional, the greeting when we came in, was warm and friendly. Everything on the menu has a personal touch to it. It is always very difficult to decide what to eat. This place was an amazing find. It's a revamped and modernized traditional Wisconsin style family run supper club. The beer selection is huge and most of the items are local. The brandy old fashioneds are good as well. The food is out of this world! The brisket burger is top shelf and the prime rib Saturday night special is absolute perfection. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive. It's such an easy walk from the lakeshore and pier and a fantastic location for a leisurely evening stroll!
