Probably the best pizza in Grand Island. Crust is crisp but not thin, toppings are plentiful.

Have hamburgers on Tuesday nights, they are very good. Service is great. Have to get there early enough or they get busy.

I don't eat at chain restaurants, so you may not even be interested in my review. All the area had…read morewas fastfood or big chain places. Service was wonderful, fast, efficient, friendly. The atmosphere was loud, excited. Probably not a place for a romantic dinner. Though the coulple sitting next to me at the bar didn't seemed phazed by all of it. Preferrencs, i'd say. It's a steakhouse and i was looking for something light. I ordered salmon and asked that they cook it medium. And i only wanted one side, a salad, Caesar. The salad was drenched in dressing. I should have asked for dressing on the side. WAAAAY too much. The dressing was flavorful, just 3 times too much for my taste. The salmon was cooked well, dry. I used some of the Caesar dressing to moisten the salmon. Everyone else was eating huge cuts of beef. I like beef AND not late at night. If you want a large piece of beef, this might be the place to go.

My wife and I had our very first dining experience at Texas Roadhouse in Grand Island, Nebraska…read morewhile traveling from Texas, and it truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively, but what really made our visit stand out was our server, Victoria. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. I ordered the herb-crusted chicken with rice, a side salad topped with sautéed onions and mushrooms, along with a house frozen margarita and the $5 Long Island Iced Teas -- everything was flavorful and cooked just right. My wife ordered the catfish with a loaded baked potato and a side salad. While she wasn't completely satisfied with the catfish, Victoria handled it immediately and professionally, making sure my wife was able to get something she enjoyed instead without any hassle. On top of that, the free dinner rolls were absolutely amazing, and combined with the generous portion sizes, we were so full that we had to take most of our meals to go! Overall, this was an incredible first experience at Texas Roadhouse. The food, service, and hospitality were all top-notch. We will definitely be dining here again anytime we're in Grand Island. Hopefully, other locations across the U.S. deliver the same great experience! Highly recommend!

My husband had a beer which could have been a bit colder but was refreshing nonetheless. I had a Jameson neat and mine was perfect :) We asked our server what she would recommend and she suggested the turkey panini so we shared that and a bowl of the Irish stew. Both were delicious although the stew was lukewarm and the panini appeared to have sat for a bit. We didn't wait long for our food so we were a bit surprised at the temperature of both items, but again, not a big deal...it was still very tasty! Just a few customers on a Thursday afternoon so it was a quiet meal. We did strike up a conversation with a gentleman who happened to be a huge Buffalo Bills fan and was quite enthusiastic and entertaining to visit with! Overall, a nice, quiet place to grab a meal and a beverage after hours of driving. They had several tv's and looks like it could be a lot of fun with a crowd. Would definitely recommend!

Always looking for local, we found McKinney's Pub on 3rd West in downtown Grand Island…read more Looking like most of the smaller Irish pubs I've been in, in the Midwest, theirs an immediate comfort as soon as you walk into the door. Green walls, dark wood and brass foot rails. I, of course, started off with a Guinness, which was perfectly poured and my wife a Diet Coke. The staff is relaxed and friendly, giving us plenty of time to look over a fairly extensive menu. My wife decided on the Buffalo Chicken wrap, and I went all in on the Peanut butter burger. My wife really liked her wrap, lots of contrasting goodies to complement the chicken with had some bite but wasn't too spicy. If you're going to tray a peanut butter burger, you need to like peanut butter- it gives the burger a different taste. Served with a mandarin chutney on a tasty bun, I found myself liking it more and more as I enjoyed it. We were offered desserts, but declined as we were absolutely stuffed. Oh, how could I forget to mention the curled chip!!!!nothing short of awesome! Think of a curly cue fry combined with a steak fry. Really, really great!

My only other experience with Mongolian grill have been chain restaurants such as HuHot and Genghis Grill. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very friendly/professional. There's a good selection of meat/seafood, vegetables, and tofu to build your bowl with. Then there's the signature Mongolian sauce along with ginger, sesame oil, lemon juice and so forth to season the bowl before handing off to be placed on the grill. The cooks take their time and I've never seen them cook more than two bowls at a time unlike the chain restaurants. The meal comes off the grill steaming hot and delicious. I've really enjoyed eating here.

The buffet had a nice selection of fresh veggies, meats, and noodles and a few options for sizes. We never saw the prices for the various sizes, but we went ahead and got the large bowl. After adding our desired sauces, two people were walking around the round grill, cooking our food and moving it around the grill. They had some kind of soup, maybe sweet and sour, which I didn't care for. You could also get white rice out of an electric rice maker, if you wanted it. The food was cooked appropriately, it was flavorful, the workers were all nice, everything looked clean and replenished regularly. If you wanted a sweet treat, besides a fortune cookie, they had a couple of little cake choices, Jello, mandarin oranges, and watermelon slices.
