Probably the best pizza in Grand Island. Crust is crisp but not thin, toppings are plentiful.

Have hamburgers on Tuesday nights, they are very good. Service is great. Have to get there early enough or they get busy.

Always looking for local, we found McKinney's Pub on 3rd West in downtown Grand Island…read more Looking like most of the smaller Irish pubs I've been in, in the Midwest, theirs an immediate comfort as soon as you walk into the door. Green walls, dark wood and brass foot rails. I, of course, started off with a Guinness, which was perfectly poured and my wife a Diet Coke. The staff is relaxed and friendly, giving us plenty of time to look over a fairly extensive menu. My wife decided on the Buffalo Chicken wrap, and I went all in on the Peanut butter burger. My wife really liked her wrap, lots of contrasting goodies to complement the chicken with had some bite but wasn't too spicy. If you're going to tray a peanut butter burger, you need to like peanut butter- it gives the burger a different taste. Served with a mandarin chutney on a tasty bun, I found myself liking it more and more as I enjoyed it. We were offered desserts, but declined as we were absolutely stuffed. Oh, how could I forget to mention the curled chip!!!!nothing short of awesome! Think of a curly cue fry combined with a steak fry. Really, really great!

Typical kids menu foods done well. Salads were nice. Bread rolls with cinnamon butter a real treat. So much to choose from... I had the shepherd's pie with champ on top... Best I've had in awhile. Really hot and took a while to finish. I tried the fun curled chips and they were lightly seasoned... My wife would have preferred them a little crisper but they were perfect for me and they had malt vinegar on the table... Delicious. The decor was perfect and bathrooms clean. I'd come back here in a flash. The staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome.

It was a typical bar scene you would expect. I had the full size nachos and I added the beer cheese for a $1. It was good the jalapeños were very spicy haha, so if you like spice get the jalapeños, if not I would get them on the side. My daughter got the half order and it was still a decent size. I like the flavor of the meat and it was full of toppings. My wife and mom shared a large supreme pizza on thin crust. It was a smaller size pizza. To me it was more like the size of a medium. So if you are hungry or trying to share with more people I would get a couple or get some appetizers to start with. I did have a slice and it was good, it had a lot of toppings. It was a good place to go for a bite and drink if you are out of town and staying close by. I would recommend this place.

Had the pleasure of dining in Grand Island and was craving wings. Never found wings quite like…read morethis in Omaha so I was pretty happy to find the spot. The photo of the wings is a 6 count dirty reaper which came near the end of a 3 hour stay waiting on my colleague to pick me up from a family emergency. That was a 'to-go' box, but I literally finished it before I left bc I was excited to try the 2nd batch. When I first got in I ordered the side salad in the photo (which was only $3.50 including toppings btw) shortly after came my the first round of 6 dirty Alberta wings which I forgot to take a picture of. Wings were lightly battered, and came with an incredible glazed sauce - lightly sweet with a kick ( I swear they included a few 'Sweet Heat jalapeños' if you've ever bought a jar of those - kind of like cowboy candy jalapeños. Not as spicy as it sounds). The wings were served with a literal sauce bottle of ranch and a dipping cup so you could pour as much of it as you wanted. Later on, I got brave and ordered the Reaper flavor, which did not leave me sweating so I was a little let down tbh haha. Palatable for most people I'd say given the expectation. Bartenders kept my cup full and were mostly attentive, it was Saturday night so saw a variety of locals come and go. On a Saturday the price is $1.50 per wing before 6pm, I happened to arrive at like 6:30 so was a little disappointed that I didn't make it in time. 6 wings were $10 but plus the salad was about $13.50 not including tax. Not bad - the alcohol adds up though. Spent over 3 hours by myself and came out to about $50 for the evening. Overall would return in a heartbeat from the prices and serving size alone in today's economy from what I saw on the rest of the menu. Plenty of opportunity to meet other people if you're social on a weekend night.

Even though it sits right off I-80 in Grand Island, NE, the race-car theme inside gives it a fun, lively vibe, and the place itself was spotless, well-maintained, and very organized. We were promptly greeted by Ms. Heather, the hostess, who was polite, cheerful, and welcomed us with a sweet smile before leading us to a booth in Ms. Hailey's section. Ms. Hailey was bubbly, friendly, and incredibly efficient--no movement wasted. She took our drink and food orders and even repeated everything back to make sure it was perfect. My sister ordered the All-American Cheeseburger with bacon on a buttered, grilled brioche bun with lettuce, red onion, tomato, and dill pickles, plus a side of seasoned fries ($14.50). The fries were crispy, well-seasoned, and very tasty. I went with the Farmhouse Burger topped with melted American cheese and a fried egg ($18.00). The flavors were spot on and the egg was cooked perfectly, though the beef patty was just a bit dry. We also shared the Wings Snack ($8.50) and an order of Onion Rings ($5.50). The wings were cooked perfectly and full of flavor, though they were a little heavy on the BBQ sauce. The onion rings, however, were outstanding--super crispy, well-seasoned, and honestly the best onion rings I've ever had. Overall, this restaurant was a great experience. The staff was friendly, helpful, and very professional. If I ever find myself back in Nebraska, I will definitely be stopping here again.

Lots of truck parking and a great truck stop too. The only complaint I have is the service. I've been many times, and I'd say about half the time it's really good. And half the time is not so great. The last time I went here, the server was amazing, no complaints at all. If I recall right her name was Melanie. The time before that, I sat at the bar and the bartender was just chit chatting and on her phone for a solid 5 minutes before she even looked at me. It wasn't busy. I know it's not super hard to break a conversation to go get a patron a drink at the bar, when you're the bartender. The last visit my server was great, but I saw the bartender do the exact same thing to another guy. He sat there for a while just awkwardly waiting on the bartender who was literally 3 feet away having a conversation about nothing with another person. Seriously, you can get someone a drink and make sure everyone's taken care of before you dive back into it with someone. He sat for so long I was cringing lol

Images Bar and Grill. This was a nice, clean restaurant with a strong mid-west hospitality ambience I picked up on the moment I walked in and was greeted and took my seat. It says a lot about the area how friendly everyone I have had the pleasure of interacting with have been. The service was very fast for me. The waitress had my drink right away. She brought me my salad right after and it was good. It was a basic iceberg base salad but they jazzed it up a bit. The ranch was very good. My food arrived shortly after I finished my salad. I had the Cajun pasta and it was awesome. The presentation of it was unique and delightful. It's hard to make something with so many elements look tantalizing but they did so with excellence. Care was placed into the making of my dinner and I appreciate that. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was amazing and perfectly seasoned and Cajun spiced. The shrimp and addition of a crayfish took the dish to a for me. I am looking forward to trying more of the food over the next few days of my stay here and am delighted that I only have to walk down the hall to get a good dinner. Thanks to the staff and Chef! Keep up the good work!
