Food was just ok, way over priced and they must be trying to save money on their electric bill because it was like a sauna in there.

I went through the drive-through. Two cars in front of me I waited over 15 minutes to get my food. Good thing I stayed at the Candlewood suites next-door. Thank goodness I had a microwave so I could eat the sandwich, but it was still dry. I couldn't eat the onion rings. They were disgusting mushy and cold. As for the service, they weren't rude, rude, but they weren't friendly. It was obvious she didn't want to be working. Worst pepper jacks I've ever eaten yet. It's a bummer because I don't have them in my area and I always look forward to eating there. Very disappointed. read more

The crew at noon on July 10th didn't want to be there at all and made it clear when making our food that we were annoying for us daring to visit. Ordering my bowl, each request was met with condescending tone. Our ingredients were thrown on top and the portions were child sized as if to punish us for ordering. We weren't allowed to order fries and the condiments were not set up and all three of the staff ran to the back the moment we paid so they didn't have to do a single bit more work. Finally a fast casual restaurant that has delicious healthy food, outside seating that is dog friendly and decent gluten free options. We both had the bowls with stir fried shrimp, vegetables and rice. Lots of options. It was a great break from the usual burgers etc. you eat while traveling on I80. Service was good, the place was clean and they have drive thru if you want to eat at the hotel. We'd like to try other items so hopefully this small chain will keep expanding east read more

Pepperjax Grills advertises that they serve the world's best Philly cheesesteak sandwich. I'm not sure that this is the "world's best" but it certainly is a great Philly cheesesteak sandwich. This is one of those restaurants where you order your food and watch them prepare it to your specs. You pick sandwich/bowl/burrito/etc. - then you pick your toppings - peppers/onions/jalapenos/etc. and then they add the cheese. It's all cooked and assembled right in front of you. The wife and I stopped in for dinner. We both ordered the specialty steak version of the sandwich. My wife asked them to hold the jalapenos but went with everything else including jalapeno "juice". I went for the works - everything including the jalapenos. I ordered fries and the wife went for a bag of chips. Knowing that my wife would never be able to finish the whole sandwich, I asked them if they could cut her's in half and they were happy to oblige - along with a "to-go" container for the leftovers. On our way home we decided to get something fast, so we decided to go to pepperjax's. We made a great choice. Fast and friendly service. They asked us if we were sharing our sandwich and we said yes. They split it without us asking. The cashier also recommended adding a drink because it was the same price. Excellent customer service. The food was fast and had a great flavor. read more

Salty, inedible, overpriced food, and tiny portions. I asked for a refund and gave them back the food I was told the only way I could get a refund is if I talked to their manager on Saturday. That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Avoid this place unless you're comfortable paying $15.25 for some salty meat on a hoagie a few fries and a coke. read more

Came in early. Girls and guys were snickering behind the counter. Stood for a while before they asked for what we did want. Fine, I had to stand there and just watch these two little girls(one blonde headed with her mask on her chin, and another brunette with glasses) snicker back and forth over something that probably shouldn't be spoken about at your job. Had to ask multiple times for more than half a scoop of rice on my SO burrito. Then I spoke up and said "ma'am can I get more rice" they both started to snicker and whisper even more. If you want to be a highschool little girl and chit chat with your friends. Fine that's okay, just don't do it at your job. Especially when we paid $18 for 2 things... Food was okay. But seriously. Changed menu. No shrimp anymore bummed. Just got a rice bowl. Didn't get mushrooms like I asked. Paid for extra cheese sauce. Didn't get it. And the rice bowls are in new packages. Wasn't even full. Won't be going back for a while. 8$ & change is too much for all that. read more

I enjoy any restaurant that allows me to see how my food is cooked. It is a little expensive, but worth it when you see the portions. I definitely recommend the house cheese steak. read more

I don't think I can rate this as the best Philly, but I can say it is in the top 3. At $8 it seems expensive for a sandwich, but it is large and filling. The meat is tender and it tastes great. The staff is welcoming. The dining room is worn but clean. read more

Driving back to Grand Island to catch flight out to Dallas, was not even sure what kind of food to expect at PepperJax but pulled in for a preflight lunch! Was very happy to have turned in to this place! Ordered the Steak Philly with onion, peppers, mushroom and jalapeños and it was the best I have ever had, very flavorful and large! The side order of Rice and Beans was a bit bland but I fixed that a little Kickin' Chili Sauce from the complimentary topping and condiment bar which had plenty of sauces and sides to add to any entree! Would highly recommend this place and cannot wait to see one open in my area! read more

Delicious food!!! Very reasonable as you can split fries. A cheesesteak is around $6.50. Hot, fresh and made right in front of you. I'm always willing to pay more its hot. I'v never had a bad one! This is a must go back. read more
