Horrible place I called to see if they were busy and the guy who answered was incredibly rude to me when I called to ask if that bar was busy. Not friendly at all and definitely not for people looking for a good time or a calm drink. He yelled at me saying something like as if I'm going to bring a drink in underage or something like that when I'm well overage and was just calling to see if the bar was open this late as it's almost 1 am. Confused me and definitely turned me away from driving all the way there and coming in. read more

Went in on a Monday night to have one round with my girl on our anniversary. Got my beer and her wine, left my card to close out our tab while I hit the mens room. I got a text from my credit card company of a charge for $14.40. I don't mind. THEN I'm given the "customer copy" of the receipt to sign. The charge is $12. I asked why my card was automatically charged my tab plus 20%. The answer was "The machine automatically does that...". I then ask for the merchant receipt. "They're ALL customer receipts." This isn't my first time using any card, at any retailer, with ANY payment processor. No merchant receipt?! Automatic 20%? I WAS tipping more that that. lol Thanks "Velda", even if it was a small amount of money, I'd hate to give it to a thief as gratuity. I should dispute the tip that you gave yourself with my money, I bet you wouldn't try that again. read more

This is probably one of the worst bars in bay county. Its honestly pathetic. The only perk to it, is that it has cheep booze. You can't curse. You can't vape. You can't use any chalk thats not blue. We were there March 17, 2013 during vacation. The owner, Velda, is a major cat rescuer and cats are quite at home (and very friendly) in the bar. All the employees were extremely gracious and friendly; Wayne even drove us to a restaurant because we could not get a cab! They truly know the meaning of customer service and genuine hospitality.
