Overall, best coffee in cape may. Hands down!! Stayed 4 days and stopped everyday, even stopped here twice in one day. If that doesn't tell you how good we thought it was! Long line, bitter coffee, to go cups for small coffee too hot to hold, but they won't give you a sleeve or a 2nd cup to put over it despite leaving a generous tip. Rude staff arguing about whether the coffee cup is too hot to hold! So many other great coffee shops on Beach Ave, even the bagel shop across the street has better coffee and better service. So skip this one! read more

One of my fave tea and coffee shops on the beach side for certain! Forget that big chain coffee shop's refreshers, there are better without all the weird chunk fruit! I love fruit, just not soggy at the bottom of my drink. We stopped in here after a pretty full morning. Well, actually we stopped in twice but what I wanted was something warm that morning so we wait until the afternoon to stop in for something colder after the sun was out. Great spot tucked off the side of the boardwalk next to the convention center. Very cute spot, matcha late with almond milk comes unsweetened and was very refreshing to have after morning yoga. Arnold Palmer was also very good and not too sweet. Super cute spot! read more

Newer addition to cape May, kinda hidden so make sure you look for the signs! Located in a beautiful walkway leading right to the beach! Small selection of baked goods, bagels, and breakfast items. Have been here several times as a halfway point on my rollerblading course to pop in for an ice coffee and an Acail bowl. The shop had a great open aesthetic and is conveniently located steps from one of the best beaches in Cape May. A great option of you are looking for a quick bite or a grab and go option. Points for speed and charm over strength. Lemme explain. I loved iced coffee. Drink it year round. Black and flavorful. And I like it from shops that have character. So I found this place like a moth to flame. Small, but clean and nice inside. Super friendly people working there. Great vibe. So it thought the coffee must be out of this world, right? Almost. Cold brew was a little weak, like ordinary Maxwell House iced coffee you get in average diners. And only one size. The 4 shots of iced espresso was excellent, however. Great flavor that melded well with the ice. So maybe up the octane on cold brew, and provide larger size cups for iced coffee fiends like me. read more

Found this place on a morning walk and it was amazing....coffee ice cubes in the cold brew and the Java boost smoothie and yogurt parfait were also great. Service is a bit slow because there's not a lot of people work. If you don't want to wait go before 8am or after 10am. Definitely recommend it though, coffee and tea are really good. Muffins are great as well! read more

Stopped by here for a cold brew with vanilla syrup and oatmilk. They also offer coffee ice cubes here for $1 more! The coffee was delicious! The location is perfect for any beach dweller or promenade walker! Service was quick and friendly! The only draw back is that my vanilla oatmilk cold brew with coffee ice cubes was almost $8! Definitely expensive I probably won't come here regularly but a fun vacation treat! read more

FFC is located on Beach Ave, right in the heart of one of the main drags in Cape May (also, conveniently around the corner from where I was staying). FFC serves Bassetts Ice Cream, I'm not familiar with the brand but apparently their cream content is higher than average so how bad can that be? They have several flavors to choose from, as well as a number of toppings, sundae combinations, and milkshakes. I decided to go with Moose Tracks in a cone - I was able to choose the number of scoops I wanted (I got two), as well as the type of cone I wanted. The ice cream was really good - super creamy with lots of peanut butter cups and fudge; the moose were stampeding. Service was also great - I was taken care of promptly and everyone I interacted with was very friendly. Overall, this was a yes - with the plethora of ice cream spots in the area, FFC stands out by serving high quality product in a fun and inviting atmosphere. I would definitely return the next time I find myself in Cape May.

I originally thought this was just a coffee/breakfast spot but was pleasantly surprised it is actually a full scale restaurant! The menu looks fantastic, and the vibes are 11/10, giving old school Cape May. They have a to go counter, a sit down counter and traditional table seating. I wish I took pics but you will have to go see for yourself! This seems like a unique little spot on Pacific Ave which is really nice to have down here, not just another traditional american bar spot. The lighthouse latte was delicious and balanced. The western omelette was perfectly cooked and while I didn't love the potatoes, they were chip-like and great for eating with the eggs. Reasonable prices for the island and didn't need to wait at all to be seated. Looking forward to coming back!

The coffee was extremely disappointing. It tasted like someone rinsed out the coffee pot and poured that into my cup. The latte wasn't much better, an easy way to put it would be watered down milk. The sandwich was also disappointing. While the price was reasonable, the preparation was careless. The egg and cheese sandwich consisted of a little more than a slice of American cheese placed on the bread. They didn't event take the time to melt it. For a cafe with such a strong reputation, I expected much better, and I probably could've gotten better at a local gas station. Overall, while I appreciated the good customer service, the food and beverages fell far below expectations. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.
